I had them replace the motor in my 2010 Dodge Charger RT 5.7 Hemi and they didn't buy the engine from the place that I wanted them to. Instead they bought it from LKQ and it was an ATK motor. They put in the first motor and that was bad, so they put in a second motor and they had my car for 36 days without a loaner vehicle. The second motor was also bad. I am furious and they won't refund my money. I paid them over $9,200 and I still don't have a running vehicle. I guess I have to sue them!!! read more

I paid this mechanic a lot of money and what he fixed, ended up not being fixed . my car was leaking oil from a specific spot . He said he fixed it and 2 weeks later it was leaking again. I texted him and he completely ignored my texts . I had to show up to his shop and even then he said it was not leaking ! It clearly was leaking from the same spot . I do not recommend this place . DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!! read more

STAY AWAY from this shop!!!!! They didn't honor their bs "Check Engine Light On? We Check It For Free!" ad that's stated in the yellow pages, even after calling multiple times to confirm! They still charged us $95 for "checking" on top of a ridiculous labor fee of $380 in which they only had our car for a day. Parts being "replaced" cost no more than $100. How the hell do you come up with a labor fee of $380??!!! To avoid any heated confrontation, we paid the $500+ balance and will never refer or return to this shop again. Total rip off and a waste of our time and money. ZERO STARS! read more

I took my car here after it started leaking coolant, I called the mechanic who I usually go to as I've had good service with him before. He tells me that he's completely full and won't be able to see my car for a couple of days but he recommended Larry, gave me his number tells me he's down the street and he's a good mechanic. I trust his judgment thinking what's the worst that could happen? I get my car towed to A&M Transmissions and I have Larry look at my car. He finds a leak in only one of the hoses but replaces 3 hoses and charges me almost $500 which I say ok it's a little pricey but it's his shop his price, no problem I'll pay it and move on with my life knowing the issue is fixed and I shouldn't have any more issues with the coolant system. Before I left Larry tells me I have a 6,000 mile, 6 month warranty so if anything happens bring it back and he said "I will take care of it." So I thought to myself 'wow what an amazing mechanic.' Three weeks later I am refilling the coolant every week- I filled it twice since I left his shop. I'm seeing the issue still persists but not as bad as before. I take it back to him he runs a "free" check on it because usually he would charge for that. After a couple of hours he calls to tell me it's another coolant hose that's having a small leak and it's goin to cost $200 to fix and replace. I was dumbfounded- wasn't another coolant issue supposed to be covered under his "warranty"? I thought this issue was taken care of but he said, "no it's a brand new issue and you're only covered on the hoses that I installed." ????WHAT? He also said that the car is old not realizing it's the family car that has been well maintained and had more put into maintenance than the car is worth because of the love for the car... It has less than 140,000 miles on it and has been well maintained from day one. This mechanic is so full of it. If you read this stay away from this shop he will price gouge and not actually fix the issue and have you always coming back. This guy is a complete joke and a disgrace to honest mechanics. read more

Very upset with the customer service and being over charged for labor fee. I was first brought to this shop from the yellow pages which they stated they would give me free diagnostic for my check engine light. I get there and they tell me it's $95 for the diagnostic and it wasn't until I brought their free add on the yellow pages was I told I wouldn't be charged. Then they replaced my thermostat and housing which cost about $70 at a rate of $380.00 for labor and $130 for parts. When I called initially that I wanted to pick up my car they said the work had already started even though I just hung up with them. This place cannot be trusted and I will never come back here again. If I could give them a zero rating I would. read more

Hello! I'm writing this to give you a heads up before taking your vehicle here to have any service done. Its really quite simple. I have an 08 Silverado, it had an oil leak. I took the truck to "Larry Vo" he said he can fix it. I was skeptical at first of his diagnostics but, I thought he knew more than I so I left the truck with him to do the work. It was later in the day so I told him ill pick it up tomorrow. The next day I pick up the truck and it seemed to be fixed. No visible oil leaks. Happy and satisfied I drove the truck around for a week and then boom I have a PUDDLE of oil in my driveway. I call Larry and he says "bring it here and I don't know if its same problem or new one". Really like a motor with 80k just suddenly gets this problem of leaking oil from different areas over night? I arrived at his shop and he immediately fills out a service form and asks me to sign it. I'm like, why am I signing this? He says its the law. Really? He's not going to look or anything? I told him I'm not signing anything until he looks at it. At that point he refused to do anything and asked me to leave! This shop is a ripoff and they do shabby work. I get it that people make mistakes and that they can be fixed. That's all I asked for. He refused and was basically telling me I would have to pay either way. Maybe I am asking too much by showing up with a bigger problem than I started with and just maybe he would show a little concern and look at it right then. Nope this guy basically told me I don't matter and he turned away and walked away. I asked him are you going to do anything? He said not with your signature! Long story is DONT USE THIS SHOP! Save yourself the headache and take your vehicle to a reputable shop. Now I'm having a real shop repair it and ill move on. I guess Larry is fortunate that the motor didn't blow up from his shabby workmanship. Nuff said and I hope you read this prior to taking your vehicle here. Have a great day! read more

Called A&M Transmission on a Friday after our rear passenger window was stuck-- would not roll up or down-right where our son sits, so it really never was used, but I called and Larry told me to bring it in on Sat. I picked up the part from Honda and it was fixed within an hour!!! Super fast service and friendly as well!!! We will definitely use these guys again for any of our car needs! read more

Had my transmission rebuilt here only because they were the quickest to take me I needed my car 17,000 miles later it goes out take it to someone else to rebuild and they found out they re-used old parts to rebuild my transmission!! DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!! Just got my transmission Rebuilt again by some one else and he said more than 3/4 of the transmission had original parts from almost 200,000 miles ago he only replaced what needed to be do not go here I warn you! read more

Great service and excellent work. Larry has worked on all my cars, and I've never had an issue the quality. He is an honest mechanic that doesn't try to cheat you. Work is done right. I actually enjoy writing good reviews - but this is one place for which I cannot write one. It was general automotive work done - the replacement of a steering rack. They did the work, and when it was time to leave - hmmm the horn did not work and the airbag light was flashing. He could not figure it out. Then the power steering went out within a day - the problems? 1. They broke the clock spring mechanism when they replaced the rack. 2. They never tightened a fitting on the rack and all the fluid ran out. He tightened the fitting, replaced the fluid - but at that time we were still wondering about the horn and airbags. An auto-electric service showed me that they had broke the clock spring mechanism. I paid $500 to get that fixed - went back to A&M and told them about it. I mentioned I just wanted him to know that his tech had obviously not tied off the steering column when he did the work and it cost me. He listened, thanked me - and never apologized or offered any refund, etc. Larry might be a great mechanic, but his tech did not seem up to par or well supervised. So the bottom line is that they cost me both time and money I should not have had to spend due to sloppy work. If I were not certain of where the fault belongs, I would not have posted this. I hope they do better in the future. read more
