The customer service I experienced, both via telephone and in person, was unprofessional. Reps clearly don't know whatthey are doing. While I understand the complexities of the towing industry, the dismissive treatment I encountered was unjustified, particularly following the failure to provide clear instructions. Called the next day, and he let me know that we could come to the yard to view my vehicle, as well as collect some of the personal items before getting it sent over to the collision shop for repairs. We got a flat tire on the freeway so this company was called all though the driver was helpful and was amazing throughout this whole ordeal we had to endure Nish the owner or boss. I have never received such horrible customer service to the point he was cussing at us due the company saying they only took Zelle as the only form of payment. There were issues with the Zelle app and as we were trying to figure out the issue not only was he cussing and berating his employee he also continued to cuss us out and yell to us "every minute you are getting charged money" And he did charge us additional money while we were getting the app and trying to pay. My son got into an accident. In Castro Valley on 2/7/2023. He got T-boned. The other party at fault. CHP called towing. U.S.Towing driver showed up. Driver told me that he would tow the car to towing yard and that insurance pays for everything. And in case I would want to tow it to my home I would have to pay 270 dollars cash. I had a bad feeling about this, since I live about 2 miles away. The tow yard is about 10 miles away. But decided to believe the tow truck driver info. Big mistake. Despite the fact of filing claim with my insurance on the same day. And eventually getting CHP report for the other party at fault. And finally contacting the insurance of party at fault. I have not heard anything from insurance yet. Car was at yard for 10 days. Now I became paranoid since I have not heard from anyone until now. So I called the towing yard. I was told that as of today I owe them 1,923$. U.S.Towing does not have publicly posted rates/terms on their web site. They have it probably on the wall somewhere in the office. (for obvious reasons of scamming unsuspecting victims of misfortune) The invoice from the Tow Truck driver does not have any info on the rates/terms either. I consider this a deceptive business practice and will follow with reports to Better Business Bureau, California Department of Consumer Affairs and CHP. CHP has a list of approved contract towing drivers, who need to follow certain rules. Beware of this bad business !!! read more

They delete each review I put because the ladies feelings get hurt. The posted a plaque on the wall stating all debit cards accepted credit cards and even checks in some situations, but at the time of pickup they refused a both a credit card and a debit card. The manager state's that the tow yard was hers and she could basically refuse service to anyone she wanted. We had come in at 3 and were ready to pay, they had us wait in the lobby for an hour while they printed paper work and then made us look for cash but because of covid it was diffficult. So we offered the cards to make it easier. The reasoning behind the ladies refusal was that the owner of the vehicle had a brother who had had a vehicle towed there before and he was being "difficult"? That's ridiculous. We were charged an extra $110 for a day because they suddenly had to close as well. The next day we showed up and the "front desk"lady if you will. The one with the black hair ; she was all riled up and had an attitude for no reason just like the day before. Once again the manager came out slammed the release forms on the desk and made the entire situation very awkward to deal with. I'm sure refusing payment and causing an extra day to charged is against some sort of law and aside from the these women working here feel entitled and too good for their customers they're rude as h... all you have to do is read their responses to some of the reviews that Debbie replies to(one of the workers there). There's no need to be adouche. Plus their lot isn't even organized. The car was just placed sideways almost sitting against the wall. 0 respect. I called on Sat Dec 9, 2017 to "get an estimate" to tow a 26ft Tioga rv 48 miles to Brentwood from San Leandro. The operator/dispatch said the tow truck driver couldn tow it because they were busy. I repeted: No want tow. Want Estimate for tow. Want tow later, maybe tomorrow or next day. Want approximate price to tow. I said do you have a rate sheet...like: We charge $xxx per mile or We charge $xx per hour or We charge $xx if repairs needed to tow it. Im thinking-either these people put the "S" in Slippery or they are just idiots. How hard is that? Just give me an estimate! Dispatch calls driver again- she says He cant tow an rv. Another great towing service. After my mishap with Island Auto Repair I asked my insurance to get me a tow from another company and they gave me this one. I got an ETA of an hour and the driver got to me before. He hooked up my car and got me to my location quickly and safely. Always making sure my car was secure and that nothing would happen. The driver, which I believe goes by the name Zippy, was an awesome guy and the whole experience was surprisingly entertaining lol I would have never expected a tow to be an enjoyable situation but it was.
