You never want to need to use a towing service company. However if you do need one, then All Area Towing is the company you want to use. Last November, we had to have our 2007 Lexus ES350 towed from Danville to our mechanic in Concord. We called All Area Towing and spoke with Al. He quoted us a price for the job and stuck with that price when we scheduled the appointment a week later. Al showed up to our house and got our car out of our garage and then onto his truck and was off to Concord. Our car made it to our mechanic and we paid Al on the spot. Al and All Area Towing are a very good company and I will use them in the future if needed. read more

Al was fantastic, he really knows what he's doing with 40 years of experience. He knows the area so well that he got to the mechanic's shop before we did even though we saw him waiting at the weigh station as we sped up the freeway! He took the backroads & beat by at least 5 min! Of course we wish we hadn't needed a tow, but I am so glad we decided not to use Agero, who contracts with our auto insurance company for Roadside Assistance. We have had many bad experiences with them. We called the Towing companies in the Walnut Creek/Concord/Pleasant Hill area, & we liked Al from the start. He was personable, and he has people skills that others sorely lack. He beat the best price we had & he stuck to it the following week when we confirmed with him and arranged for our mechanic to take possession of the car so he could order parts & get started on the repairs. You won't regret working with Al, he's a real Champ. read more

They were so professional and fast. Al was just outstanding!! He got there quickly and helped us get the car towed without hassle.

i was amazed Al got my car battery jump started so I didn't have to have it towed-v claims he can start even dead batteries . then he followed me to garage together a new battery read more

I am so thankful for All Area Towing! No one wants to be calling a tow truck but when I had to on Thursday, I am so thankful that Al Parnoff answered the call! My car was in a precarious situation and he carefully engineered the extraction to get my car out with no additional damage. Al was brilliant in his approach, prompt, and personable. Thank you! read more

If you care about your vehicles as much as I do, call Al @ All Area Towing. I needed two cars towed and set an appointment for later in the week. Al was communicative throughout the process. He showed up on time with a beautiful flat-bed Chevy, and quickly had my first car ready to roll. Two separate cars being moved to the next town over took less than 2.5 hours from start to finish, and all for less than I had expected to pay. I'll definitely be using A.A.T. for my future towing needs. read more

Prompt service, professional, dependable and knowledgeable about different types of cars. Not just a towing company. Give Al a call.

Excellent! Came quickly and knowledgeable! Al is a funny guy! Nanny's prius driven into a ditch on Walnut Blvd in the dark, he got it out, checked it, made sure it was kk to drive. AAA said they would be there in 3 hrs, Al was there within 30 min! read more

Quick response and saved my day! Thank you so much for great service. Five stars and more if I could!

Our car battery was dead. Al gave us an estimated 15 minutes for arrival - he arrived as committed. Al jumped the battery, the car started, and he had equipment on his truck to test the battery and charging system. With his equipment, it was identified the battery was bad. Al stayed with us to ensure the car kept running and would not stop after we drove away due to a "short" in the battery. We took the car to a local auto parts store, and their tests confirmed the battery was also bad. Al followed up to ensure we got to our destination without a problem. Al saved us a $200+ diagnostic fee a garage would have charged us to say the battery was defective. We will call All Area Towing in the future. Thanks, Al, you are the best! read more

Saturday started out a bad day for my daughter with her car breaking down in Orinda. Ended up being a very good day, thanks to Al Parnoff, the owner of All Area Towing. Phoned the Shell Service Station in Orinda, Kathy recommended we give Al a call. Glad we did, Al told us how long it would take to get to the broken down vehicle and kept us informed of progress. When Al arrived he immediately diagnosed the problem (damaged battery cable) and set about getting the car onto his flat bed towing truck. 10 minutes later we met him at the Shell garage and mechanic Nick set about repairing the damaged battery cable, within 30 minutes the problem was fixed. Al was an absolute delight to talk with, very knowlegable, helpful beyond belief, and his towing fee was very reasonable in my opinion. Also, big shout out to Kathy and Nick, also a delight to talk to, helpful and reasonable/fair repair cost. You may have noticed all my reviews to date on Yelp have been 5 star, this is deliberate. Life is too short to focus on that which does not make us happy. This is why I restrict my reviews to those things/places/services that make me happy and appreciate life. Sure, I have been to some really dreadful shops, hotels and restaurants etc., but, like I said, life is too short to spend time thinking and writing about them. read more

Best service out of any towing company out there! Al is very respectful and easy to get along with. Gets the job done and is very prompt. Should be called Al's A+ Towing! Thanks. read more

Had starter issues with my motorcycle and did a quick search for "motorcycle towing". Gave AAT a call and spoke with Al (the owner) and scheduled a next day pickup and delivery. Al is the truest definition of a business owner who literally puts the personal touch on his service as he is the one that handles most pickups for AAT. He is super-experienced in the industry and has handled everything from regular sedans to foreign super cars and show-level classics. Pickup and delivery of my bike was completed within 30mins (within Contra Costa County) and his pricing is great. A true value. Thanks Al! read more

These guys are the best. Al and Dan came and took my car to the shop when it wouldn't start. They were on time, called ahead to tell me when they were on their way, and were fast to get it loaded onto the truck. Top quality service from friendly guys at fair prices. read more

Had to get my car towed today for the first time and was extremely nervous about it, but thank goodness I called Al with All Area Towing! Al was very prompt in getting the job done. He also went above & beyond by taking the time to help me trouble shoot with what the issue may be with my car. A true professional! Obviously, I'd hope not to have this happen again but if ever it does, Al is the first person I'd call! read more

My car wouldn't start on a Saturday and I had no idea what was wrong. Called a couple of towing companies but all I got was voicemail. Then I called All Area Towing and Al immediately answered. Al asked questions over the phone to diagnose the problem and showed up with within 1-1/2 hours. He quickly figured out the battery needed replacing and gave me a jump start. Al was incredibly nice, responsive, and had a good sense of humor. He even gave me tips on how much I should be paying for a battery replacement. I highly recommend All Area Towing! read more

I called Al to have my car towed from Saint Mary's to my hometown's mechanic (~45min drive). I called at 9:00 AM and was told he'd arrive at 12 Noon. However, he came by at 11:00 AM since his previous job ended early. And let me tell you! Al is such a sweet man who deserves nothing but success! Really nice and funny personality. As a broke college student, I was completely nervous for the price, but his prices are very reasonable. Getting my car on to the tow truck was a breeze. As for the drive, he was willing to tow my car to a city which didn't cover his service area BUT it saved my life! I was able to get my car out of SMC parking lot and back home. THANK YOU AL! Highly highly recommend read more

Had a no-start on an employee's work truck. Al came in under 30 minutes and took the car to my mechanic. Like clockwork.

I've called Al to tow my van to the service. He's very professional and knows what he's doing. Fast, reliable and fairly priced service. What else do you need from towing company? I will definitely use this company again if I'll need a towing. read more

Al is a kewl and approachable guy. Just bought my first bike (suzuki gs500) on tuesday [8/18/09] from a private sale in Walnut Creek and the guy recommoended Al to bring it back home (in Antioch). The bike was all mounted & all and delivered quick. (well duh I guess, since we left for Antioch around the same time). He was real friendly, saying to ride cautiously and all after unloading the bike, because of stuff that happened with friends of his. Paid him cash once the bike was delivered; don't know how his transactions usually work in terms of payment, but I really do recommend him. --Thanks Al P.S. I wrote the review here instead of the one where it says San Luis as the address, because on his business card, the address is: 981-A Bancroft Rd. Concord, CA 94518 I'll update this if there's any comments or messages about the address being wrong or whatnot. read more

My car died out of no where in the weekend, and since I work in San Fran I figured I should wait till I have a day off to take care of it since I didn't even know what was wrong with the car, did some research on Yelp and after reading reviews about Al and the level of service he provides I decided not to wait and kind of have him take care of the situation for me, and he totally did. Car wasn't responding even to the key, Al not only opened it and jump start my car, he was able to call a good mechanic and had my mom and my 5 years son follow him to the shop with my car and got the battery changed in no time. Very impressive and out standing service, thank you AL. read more

These guys are the real deal. My car died outside my apartment complex late at night. The tow truck showed up within 15 minutes, determined that the problem with my car was serious enough to warrant disconnecting the battery, and got it towed to a repair shop pronto. I cannot say enough how above and beyond Al and AAT went for me today. I would recommend this tow service to everyone. I pretty much had the perfect storm of conditions. Our AAA roadside assistance was over 2 hours late. My wife, mother-in-law and two kids were going nuts and Al came by at the drop of the hat and saved the day. I wish all tow truck companies were this efficient, prompt and all-around professional. If I need any towing in the future there will be no other company I am going to call. read more

A woman accidentally got locked out of her car in our neighborhood, and Al was kind enough to personally offer to come out even though he technically wasn't working that night. Even though the woman found another way to unlock her door, Al even gave me a call back to check up. Thank you Al for being so kind and generous with your time. I imagine that you get many calls in all hours of the night from people who find themselves in trouble. I'm grateful that there are souls like you that are truly helpful. I have your number now on my saved contacts and will be happily referring you to anyone who may need your services. read more

I had a flat tire and needed my vehicle towed to the nearest repair shop. I first called my insurance company and it would take 11/2 hours to get a tow truck out, ridiculous. I checked Yelp and found AAT Towing and gave Al a call. Al was onsite in 15 minutes - he was very quick, responsive and courteous. If I ever need my car towed or tire changed I'll give AAT a phone call. This company is highly recommended. read more

Called AAT when my front tire flew off my car while exiting 680. Was trying to get towed but Al was busy for around an hour. Instead he offered the phone number of another towing company that should be able to help, when I called them they were also busy, so I call Al back explaining a little more of the situation he offers some helpful advice on taking a lug nut from each of the other three tires since mine were gone and bam I changed my tire and no longer needed a tow. I finally continue on with my day and Al calls me later just to make sure everything was alright and worked out. I would happily use AAT for any towing needs when I received such amazing customer service and support and wasn't even a customer. Thank you. read more

My BMW has not been driven for a while and the battery went dead. I tried to jump start the car myself but the battery was too empty for any of my attempts to work. I called a couple of area towing companies and AAT was reasonably priced. Al came to my residence and spent a long time dealing with all the possible alternatives and was able to finally get the car to start. He also gave a me a great recommendation for a shop that could replace my battery and even followed my car to their location. I highly recommend this company should anyone need their service. read more

First off I'd like to say that Al is a stand up guy and it's been a pleasure communicating with him the past few weeks. Here is a bit of background for my specific situation. I had the pleasure of getting my car impounded for 30 days late last month. All my fault and I take full responsibility. What was unfortunate is that having the car impounded for that long came with a hefty storage fee. My car isn't worth the cost it would have taken to get it back. I thought it was worth a shot to speak with the owner (Al) to see if there was a deal we could work out because I still needed a car and after spending a few weeks on line I realized I wasn't going to be able to get anything with what I had to work with, we came to an agreement and Al went out of his way to help me out in a time of need. I will forever be grateful to him and will always recommend AAT to anyone in need of tow. His prices are more than fair and he has a great team. Thanks Again Al read more

100 percent. AL saved me today!! I was in a jam.. the wheel of my van slipped over a weird ledge and thankfully someone referred him. He was able to get to us quickly which was so great being a mom with a couple of squirrely kids! It was a weird situation, he had the perfect creative solution that worked all in about 4 minutes. We were off driving right away. I would absolutely call him again and will recommend him to everyone! Thanks AL! read more

On time service, but the guys attitude sucked. Complained about everything and argued to no end. Won't use again.

I left my keys inside my locked car and the boss man Al got my keys out within 10mins. His service was quick and efficient. His work is very thoughtful because he put painter's tape on my car so it won't get scratched up by his tools. Thanks Al! read more
