He called me every day to provide updates on my car and what to expect next. My car ended up having other issues to it, so Junior was kind enough to recommend another place for those services which also worked out well. Took my car here to get repaired because it was the only preferred shop in AAA's network in my area that had good reviews. Dan was outstanding throughout the entire process. He called a few days after I dropped off the car to provide an updated ETA for the repairs, which were completed as scheduled. He also followed up a month after I got the car back to schedule the installation for the clear bra, which had to be delayed to allow the paint to cure. All the staffs were super knowledgeable. Came here as one of the insurance network auto shops to repair a back bumper. They took the estimate from insurance and worked with inurance directly for additiinal charges. Dropped off the car on Tuesday morning, and ready for pickup Thursday afternoon after replacing the entire back bump with brand new paint. I backed into my garage door when it started closing accidentally. I got an estimate on Wednesday and was very happy with price. Broken glass on tailgate and broken wiper with minor paint damage under glass. I decided to pay out of pocket instead of insurance. They called me Friday that parts were in. I dropped off Monday morning and was called around 4 that my car was ready. They even detailed my car including tire rims. Make no mistake this place works for the insurance company. If you bring your car here they will talk the insurance company what happened and only fix what the insurance company tells them to fix. I'm now stuck with damage to my car from a hit and run that they told the insurance company didn't happen from the incident. They are not on your side. I didn't ask them for their opinion. I asked for an estimate to fix the damage. It's the insurance companies right to decide what happened not the auto body shop. Take my advice and go to an independent shop and get an estimate for the damage and send that to your insurance. read more

I always hated getting my car fixed! You feel like a number or no one cares. Basically you need to know someone in the business. SO here's WHERE YOU GO and WHO TO ASK for in the East Bay!!!! Ask for Matt, depending on your insurance you might get another adjuster but just ask anyway. He's quick, listens to what you want (yes ladies..a man that listens) and calls and keeps you up to date on your car. Next ask for Jesse to work on your car. He's a car technician that takes pride in his work and your car gets done right the first time!! I'm really picky and he did great job. In a nutshell.... I dropped my car off within a few minutes and picked it up within a few minutes. They also gave me a ride to where I needed to go. I have to say I'm rather disappointed at Jim's auto body. I got into an car accident almost a month and I was helped by Steve. Very nice guy and I thought I was in good hands. About a week later, I get a call stating my car was ready. Picked up the car to realize that they only did half of the repairs. Went back to see the manager and he states that the rear damage was never entered in. So theyll fix it. Not wanting to cause a commotion I agreed to leave my car where they stated it should be done early next week. I get a call about a week later stating that due to the high winds over the weekend, the carts or parts in the yard hit the passenger side of my car. So I again waited another week for my car to be fix. At this point I am car-less for about 2 weeks. I finally receive my car and come to find out their were damages on my windshield. They did not take blame for this stating that the cracks on my windshield were there before they even touched it but I've seen pictures of my car at the car accident scene and I did not see any marks on the car. I let this go because I refuse to keep my car at a company that has been inconsistent with me. So a total of three weeks I was left without a car due to the initial visit of them not entering in the correct damages on my car. Overall, Steve was a nice guy but the service that I received was not what I expected. I had to call everytime to see updates on my car and all I received is subpar work and shallow apologies. read more

It wasn't the closest from Berkeley where I live- but worth the drive. They provide text updates so you know the status of the repair. Also, the receptionist was really friendly, nice, and helpful. Jim's Autobody did a fantastic job on my 2018 ram pick up! I am extremely picky when it comes to my truck and I can honestly say I cannot see where it was repaired! After getting sprayed by rocks on 680 thanks to a really crappy cleanup Job by Bay Cities Paving then Grinding, my truck had several rock hits, including a big dent in the hood. The truck is metallic pearl red, not an easy color to match. Jim's auto body did an absolutely seamless repair much to my delight. Great Body shop! I recently took My Wife's car and My car to Jim's Auto Body in Concord. I received Great service and High quality work done on My cars. The cars were as Good as New again. They even washed My cars before returning them to Me. Sandra the receptionist is friendly, professional and efficient. Same with Marco who did the estimates. Even the Manager Dana was Great. He came out to greet and thank Me for bringing the cars in. Last time I needed a Body shop I went to Caliber collision on Main street in Walnut Creek. I wasn't impressed. The lady who did My estimate had a bad attitude and the paint job was mediocre. There were scratches on the hood they painted.
