I had a really great experience at Martinez Auto Body today and wanted to share. I stopped by because I had some concerns about my car after a couple of minor incidents where the side panels had popped out. Sean was incredibly accommodating from the moment I arrived. He took the time to look at everything carefully and was genuinely happy to help. Not only did he address the issue, but he also put new clips on my side panels and got everything back into place. The before and after difference was amazing, and I really appreciated the care he took while working on my vehicle. On top of the great work, Sean was just a pleasure to talk to. We had some great conversations while we were figuring everything out, and it really felt like I was dealing with people who truly care about their customers and the community they serve. I unfortunately got into another accident in the same BMW that Martinez Auto Body had repaired for me before. Since I had an amazing experience last time, as well as their work being impeccable, I decided to immediately go straight back here again. I got towed directly from my accident scene to Martinez Auto Body just in time for them to open and they immediately got to work assessing the damage and taking my car in with my insurance claim (they work directly with State Farm). It took some time this time around to get all the work done, but that was expected what with all the supply shortages. Most of the time was them waiting for parts as they get work done quickly and properly. My car was to be picked up today and when I arrived in the afternoon it wasn't ready yet. They were still waiting on the last part. Which again, not their fault! I left and they called me less than a couple hours later and said it was ready for me to come get so I could have it for work over the weekend. Speedy service to get it done ASAP but done RIGHT! I will always be returning to this place of business. Family owned and run since 1952 and it shows! They settle for nothing less than perfect for your finished vehicle! This place is as good as it gets! I bought a 2014 infiniti q50 and there were parts on the front bumper/under the hood that were broken and missing. They gave me a free quote for the repairs and the best price you could get to fix a car like this. Most auto shops are expensive and take advantage of your ignorance of how cars work and the different parts that need fixing. Most importantly Martinez Auto Body was honest and had the best customer service I have ever seen in an auto shop. You often cannot truly know the quality of Company's level of service until you have an incident that leads you to test said service. When we got the car back as stated the work at glance was superb, yet when we drove the next morning we noticed that the side view window on the side that had the work done was shaking a bit. I brought my car here after an accident with the expectation that they would assess and restore all of the damages to pre-accident condition. I was first given an itemized invoice for all repairs needed on the automobile as a consequence of the accident. Gary first stated that I needed my muffler fixed but that the part would take a long time to arrive and that I would need to pick up my car and drive it until then. I agreed, but when I arrived, he wanted me to sign documentation declaring that all repairs had been made complete and the shop would not be liable for any damages after my vehicle left the parking lot. I was hesitant to sign this because we were still waiting for the muffler to arrive. I raised my concern and asked for amended documentation indicating solely completed work, but he was unable to supply this at the time. We agreed that my car would be kept at the shop for another 2-3 weeks until the muffler arrived and was installed. About two weeks later, I received notification that they had my car assessed by a "third-party specialist" without my authorization and that my muffler did not need to be repaired anymore. After having no car for two weeks and battling over the invoice, they eventually agreed to reimburse me for the part damages that reportedly occurred. To avoid problems, I would bring your automobile to a shop that is committed to repairing the parts they agreed to replace and does not utilize another technician to repudiate their prior assertion. read more
