In May 2025 on Claremont Ave. in Oakland I drove my 2019 Miata over an unmarked median. It was my first collision since age 15. The impact ripped out most of my Miata's undercarriage: tires, brakes, suspension and cooling system, along with destroying the nose. Probably there is no other car sold in the USA with sensitivity to driver inputs equal to this 2300 lb two-seater. If a tire is low or the wheel alignment is out by a tiny degree, the Miata driver will feel it through the steering and in fact the whole car. I was therefore very concerned that replacing most of the car's suspension would result in the car looking good but never again driving with the smoothness and precision it had before. This is my third time taking my car to their shop and as usual, they did an amazing job. I have a twenty year old car and with their help, it looks like new. Someone dented the entire driver's side door pulling out of the parking space next to mine. Now it looks like it never happened. Not only did they fix the dent, but were very careful with repainting so that it matched the color on the rest of the car. It's the little things and attention to detail that makes them my "go to" for auto body repairs. We were recommended this family run business by our mechanic ( another family run business Moraga motors). Someone ran a stop sign into our car and dented both doors and the pillar. Dent pro worked with us and the third party insurance to get it fixed which was a tall order as third party had low liability cap. They kept us informed and did it as fast as they could (it rained for days and rain doesn't help paint dry). Edit- Anna called me immediately after leaving my 3 star review. She apologized for not following up after I left and offered to pay me back for the mobile repair. Updated my review reflect that they made it right in the end! Overall they did a decent job. But they lacked communication between staff and management. When I picked up my car after being repaired, there was still an obvious dent. Quote/invoice didn't include that, so staff did what they were told, office staff didn't write up the repair correctly. Dropping off a car with 100% damage by someone else, and picking up a car with 25% damage still left, was pretty disappointing. They sent out their mobile repair man to finish the job, but had to pay him out of pocket to finish their work. So getting hit in a parking lot cost me $125 because office staff didn't look at the car before they called telling me it was done. Hopefully they can smooth out these details in their new, bigger space. Will be using Dent Pro Mobile in the future. read more
