My Story Scratched the quarter panel of my new car. Got estimates. They all involved leaving the car for between four days and two weeks, and a cost of $1200 to $2000. No thanks. I requested a quote and he got back to me very quickly... a lot of the other places I contacted wouldn't handle paint touch-up jobs, but Rony was extremely up-front and honest about this. He said the touch-up would only be 80% of what he considered a full fix (which would be to repaint the whole panel), but this scratch was so small that it didn't seem worth it to me. Logistics were also somewhat more complicated since it wasn't my car that was being worked, and Rony worked with both of us to get it scheduled and get the job done. I put two scratches into my brand new car (one while removing some bird poop that had crusted on - don't do this without soap friends!, and another while loading a bike on a tow hitch rack. A third scratch appeared on the rear quarter panel presumably thanks to a close call with a tree branch. As you all know - the first scratch on a new car is always the worst and for weeks, all I could notice when I walked to my car was the white streak, taunting me for my inability to keep my car pristine.
