I reached out to Brian about a small, but "sharp"--and very annoying--dent on the hood of our brand new Volvo. He was able to give me a ballpark estimate based on the photos I sent, though again, the dent was small and hard to see if you weren't looking in person. My RAV4 sustained a sizable dent in the right rear quarter panel just above and below the body/crease line as I was pulling out of my garage and sandwiched the car against the handle bar of my bike and the wall. I submitted a request through Yelp and received 5 bids. I eliminated both the highest and lowest bids leaving 3 including Brian's, any one of which I would have been ok to go with. However, Brian was the only one who followed up the initial bid with a phone call to discuss the scope of the repair, expectations and outcome. To some, this might not matter much but to me this personal touch makes all the difference. The repair took about 2 hours in my garage because it was raining that day.
