I had 4-5 dings from a large pine cone on my carbon black hood that was repaired by Brian. He warned me hoods are difficult and based on my photos he could probably get it 99%. Also, the hood is aluminum and what I read it's more of a challenge since it doesn't have memory like sheet metal. Anyway, Brian finished and said it's 99%; it looked a 100% to me and he had to point to the 1% imperfection which was still hard to notice. Brian is very polite and patient, too. Brian did a great job on hood dents on 2 of my cars... one that I bought less than a month ago. He showed up next day. He is meticulous in his work. I was pulling down a suitcase in the garage from a shelf above my wife's very babied Subaru when I lost a grip on it and it hit the hood of her car and made a couple of dents. Boy.. was I in trouble. I assured her that it could be fixed and started Yelping for Dent repair guys. I initially had a little difficulty getting in touch with Brian and later learned that he was on vacation while I was trying to reach him. So, in the meantime I sent photos and got quotes from a couple other dent repair experts. The quotes were all over $1,000 for two small dents. A had a small dent near my gas door on the quarter panel that needed to be fixed. He was able to make a small opening in the metal under the fender liner and thru an opening at the gas door to repair the damage. He made sure the put a plug with a lifetime seal and epoxy to cover the hole and put the fender liner back in place without any damage and fully snapped back in place. Although my insurance would cover the repair, there's nothing better than original body and original paint, not to mention all the days we'd be without the vehicle. Also, a claim would result in a report to Carfax, likely reported as an accident that never happened, lowering my resale value. I found Brian and Dent Erasers on Yelp. As a former automotive detail shop manager, I'm acutely aware that as a technician you either have "the eye" or you don't. Brian has it! More than 20 years of his experience are evident as he takes his time to get the best possible outcome. I was beyond impressed with the final product. There is NO EVIDENCE of the multiple dents that had been there a few hours before he got to work. In my pictures, look at distorted straight lines in the building edges, the handrailing, the bushes, etc, where the dents are. Then compare them with the perfectly straight lines in the after picture. There's the irrefutable proof. All for less than my deductible would have been.
