I called AAA because I had a car that would not move blocking in our cars for work. They sent a very nice man out right away who was a super helpful- he moved the car, let me get my cars out, and then put the car back. It was a wonderful experience in an otherwise disappointing day. Called them at 9:05 pm on 11/17. Waited until 12 midnight after calling them 5 times and being provided a new ETA When I first called them they said 45 minutes. Each time I called back they said the driver was down the street either jumping a car or doing some other type of service. I ended up called United Tow they gave me an ETA of 40 minutes and showed after 5 minutes. The sad part is all they had to do is be honest and say we cannot make it not leaving hanging. Misrepresented on Yelp: there are entries for this business with local addresses in both Dublin and San Ramon but when I called them on their phone listed for both ((925) 829-4637) to arrange a tow from San Ramon to Dublin I was informed that they are not in fact local neither for Dublin not for San Ramon but in fact are Livermore-based and will charge additional $200 on top of towing charges just for the fact that they will need to drive down from Livermore. This is false advertisement. Yelp should remove misleading Dublin and San Ramon entires for this business. read more

This place has the worst customer service ever. If you are an emergency do not call them because they will hang up on the phone on you and Nicole the receptionist is allowed to have an attitude. I do not go to companies that will not work with you or help you out when you're in a vehicle emergency as if it is something that you can control. Will not be returning to this company since they hung up the phone on me when I am the one in the emergency trying to get my car towed. read more

I called AAA when I returned to my car at the end of the workday, and the headlights were still on...barely. SaveTow was dispatched and initially they said it would be an hour before the technician would arrive. Byron handled case 38312, and he arrived within 25 minutes after being given instructions to the wrong parking lot by AAA dispatch. Byron was very professional and knowledgeable about the car, and knew exactly how to handle it. When his normal jump start routine did not work, he quickly pulled out a supplemental jumper and then everything worked great. He even looked at the battery and provided advice. All in all, Byron got everything handled in under 15 minutes. Great job! read more

Horrible customer service. The driver was disrespectful. I will never use this company again. They treated my 65 year old father poorly and today they treated my wife the same. I have also filed a complaint with AAA. I requested a new tow today and the same company (Save Tow) came out after I requested a different tow company. I requested the drive to cancel the tow as his company had already ruined my weekend. His reply was good luck finding a tow truck company since we are the only ones in this region that tow for AAA. And he asked again are you sure you want us to leave? Im glad I stuck to my decision because a new truck drive came from a different company and was much more professional took care the tow no problem. Stay Clear of this company. read more

Thanks to the night shift at Save Tow for getting me off the highway. First my insurance company told me it would be 2 hrs to get a tow. Then i called them back aftrr 2 hrs and they said they moved my request but couldnt find a tow. When i called Save Tow and told them my problem Nicole got on it and called my insurance and was able to work it out to get me a tow. I dont know how long i would have been stuck on I would have been stuck on the freeway if I didnt call save tow. Next time i will call them first. read more

For the last couple of days, we've had an issue with our C6 Corvette. It wasn't starting and the gears weren't working. We knew we had to call AAA and have them send someone out to figure out the problem. They sent out 2 guys from different towing companies and they could not get the car to start. We decided it was time to have it towed to the Dublin Chevrolet dealership. We were very nervous to have it towed out of our garage because it is a custom car, but AAA sent out Save Tow, our 3rd towing company. Byron was there in less than 15 mins. He was able to get our car working again. He took out his portable jumper box, did some testing, and connected it to the right spot and got it started in the first try. You know what they say, 3rd times a charm. What a relief!!! My husband couldn't believe it. He drove it around the block a couple of times and everything seemed to work fine. Byron's professionalism, expertise, and care of our car really went a long way. We appreciated what he has done and because of that we will never use another tow company again!! read more

I was in a car accident, I needed to have my car towed. Save tow came and towed my car through AAA. Nobody mentioned any prices for a tow, I called a week later and they told me I was on the hook for 1200 dollars. I shouldn't have to pay for something after their driver lied to me and didn't disclose the fees. After a bit of back and forth I finally got them down to $220. I told him I don't have the money because I lost my job due to the coronavirus. I tried to resolve the issue but the regional manager was quite rude and basically told me he's loosing money and if I didn't pay the $220 that he would charge me the whole $1200. I shouldn't have to pay because of HIS EMPLOYEE didn't disclose the fees. If he would have disclosed the fees I could have had my car towed somewhere else read more

We had a flat tire on a rental car on the way to Yosemite national park. We called AAA and, within 20 mins , Glenn from Savetow showed up. He was being really helpful and accommodating! My experience was with the careless TOW TRUCK DRIVER (Francisco or Carlos, whatever was his name!) who scratch my C230 rims while backing up and pretended that it was nothing!! Then, when I tried to let the manager know about the incident, I was IGNORED with a capital "I"!! Got the feeling that they discriminate against women because they think we don't know!?! horrible! I first called to have them come down to get my keys out of my car. An hour goes by, so I call back to get an estimate of a time. The woman says, "oh you didnt tell me to schedule it". As if I call people to tell them I locked my keys in my car for no reason. Then the tow truck driver unlocks my car, sets the alarm off, and leaves it in the parking lot. Wow... didn't think it was possible that these guys could be as bad as the reviews and actually they're probably worse!! When I say worse I mean like NEGATIVE 5 STARS!! I called AAA this morning at 8:30 to get my car towed to a repair shop. Was told that they are dispatching Save Tow and they will be here by 9:33. A little after 9 I see a Save Tow truck rolling by my house on the way to the freeway. I called AAA to notify them that the driver passed my place and was told they're going to another job on the freeway. Mind you, according to Yelp, Save Tow is 1.1 miles away from my house and the repair shop the car was going to is also on Scarlett (which is where save tow is located). Seems to me like a nice simple job and some quick cash. Only problem is it's now 11:10 as I'm writing this and still NO Save Tow. Icing on the cake is AAA is telling me they won't dispatch another tow company. So now I get to write two crappy reviews, Save Tow & AAA. Then I get to solve the issue I started my day with... Thanks much Save Tow. Best believe I'll be writing a GLOWING review for whatever tow company I can get to clean up Save Tows mess!! I was searching for a tow company & came across their info on Yelp & sure glad I did! I needed a tow for my Aston Martin & very nervous about any tow company for that matter. They sent out Gus who was extremely helpful as my car was dead in the garage so he helped me trouble shoot so we can get it out & onto the truck (which we ended up pushing out of the garage). Gus used extreme care when loading the car to ensure he didn't scratch the undercarriage. Here is the deal with these tow companies, They are the same for the most part. They are allowed to legally steal other peoples property and hold it for ransom essentially. Legal Extortion. That's is a big part of there business!! Most of the drivers and owners of the companies are felons. But this company was cool with us. We had a classic car that was lowered and broke down in San jose or Dublin. Multiple AAA tow companies came out and said sorry cant load it; because these tow outfits only get paid about $30 for towing AAA and they aren't allowed to charge more or they lose there contract with AAA. Witch is stupid!! So, if you have a vehicle that is hard to load or unload or have to go a long distance, the drivers are pissed and are rude or like with us, they will make up some BS about not being able to load your vehicle. They would rather be out stealing cars for their respective cities and selling them back to there owners for ransom!!!! Pays better.... But But----------- Save Tow Dublin was Cool. ---------------- They gave me a reasonable price over the phone. I called from the freeway after several other AAA tow trucks left us. Save Tow got to us in 30min and the driver was excellent, took total care loading and unloading our classic 50's car. For $140 he took it from San Jose to Walnut Creek and it took 50 plus min to load and 50 plus minutes unload our beast!!!! I believe it was Carlos, He was very good. read more

Worst customer service ever! They were sent from my AAA Roadside Assistance the dispatcher called and gave me a 3 hour window after Roadside said 2 and was rude when I informed her my window was supposed to be 2 hours. When they drive Mike showed up he was rude the minute he got out of his truck. He told me to tow my vehicle it would be $310 that my urgent coverage only covered 5 miles. I explained AAA did not inform me that and I should be covered for 100 miles. He was impatient as I tried to call AAA to clear up the issue. He said he was leaving in 2 minutes and even if they covered the tow that he wouldn't take my vehicle now anyway. He left while I was in on the call and yelled out the window when I figure out where I'm having my car towed to call another tow company. Just what a woman alone on the side of a dark road wants to hear. read more

Save Tow - Towing Near Me - Dublin, California

We were driving back home to Marin County from a performing gig at the Pleasanton Highland Games Sunday of Labor Day Weekend, this year when (as far as we can tell) the alternator on the truck may have gone out. AAA told us it might be hours or even Monday before they could get us towed home. We called several places to try to find a place to at least park near a restroom - including seeing if we could be towed back to the Fairgrounds for the evening and sleep in the front seat of the truck if need be, but all anyone could tell us is what they couldn't do. It was dark, and we were feeling truly desperate. AAA had reached Save Tow, who sent out Doug Fox to tow us to the Fairgrounds for the night. We told Doug we had just learned that we could not go back to the fairgrounds. Doug was the first person all evening who didn't tell us what he *couldn't do* - he told us what he COULD do!!!! He asked if we would like to be towed to the nearby 24-7 Safeway lot as part of our delayed tow. That way, regardless of the wait, we would at least be able to get a bite to eat and have a restroom facility available. WOW! Someone who offered at least a partial SOLUTION!!!!! We felt less despairing already, just having someone with a total "can-do" attitude. So he quickly and expertly drove our laden truck to the parking lot, making sure to leave us in a well-lighted spot with easy access to food and the Safeway. A couple of hours later we got another call from Save Tow, to let us know someone would be out to pick us up in about 20 minutes. To our delight, our driver was Doug Fox again. He swiftly and expertly took us and our truck not only to Marin but also up the extremely narrow and twisty roads to our house. He was a marvel of engineering when it came to negotiating the "Bermuda Triangle" of the very few parking areas near here and dropping off our truck. Throughout all of this Mr. Fox was always personable, thoughtful, courteous as well as incredibly skilled. As I write, we got back less than an hour ago, but I wanted to make sure to write this review before I forgot: Save Tow as a company was extremely quick to respond, and clearly they hire highly skilled drivers. With his courteous and positive attitude, Doug Fox of Save Tow converted what had been a disastrous and disheartening evening into something humane, and as close as one can get to actually *enjoying* needing to have one's vehicle towed home. This isn't so much about the tow driver as it is about the office. They misplaced or stole a key that I left with them after my car was totalled. They claimed I never gave it to them but, I did and they were very unapologetic and basically claimed I lied about giving them my key. Cost my hundreds to replace it, very hurtful after going through a horrific car accident. Not to mention when I went to the yard days after my accident in tons of pain the women was rude and took her time, having conversations with mechanics while she was supposed to be taking me to my car to get my belongings. read more
