The most authentic and delicious lasagna I have had in many years. The service, ambiance and decor were amazing. Highly recommend that you try this place out. Decent prices and large servings. Will definitely be back.

We went to try Sapori for lunch. We started with the garlic cheese bread (which is from Slate-which we love). My husband had the clam pasta (can't remember the actual name). My daughter & I both had the tomato bisque. I added the kale salad which was my absolute favorite part of the entire meal. My oldest daughter had the kids pepperoni pizza. Service was great but also they were dead. Ambience was very Italian restaurant. If you like wine, they have a nice wine menu. They also have monthly themed cocktails.

We came here on a Tuesday evening and were sat right away, no wait, which was a nice surprise. They started us off with complimentary bruschetta, and our server was attentive and very friendly throughout the night. For entrees, my friend had the lamb ragu and the sea bass milanese. The lamb ragu was a bit gamey with a hint of nutmeg(?), and the sauce was on the sweeter side. The sea bass was a hit - moist, flavorful, and paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes. I ordered the spaghetti and chicken Parmesan to go. The spaghetti was much heavier on the pepper than I prefer, but still edible. The chicken Parmesan came with a chunky marinara and a side of spaghetti. It was decent, but nothing particularly memorable. The ambiance, however, was lovely - cozy, and moody.

The interior is the polar opposite of the former restaurant (Tucci's). While it was dark and mysterious, Sapori is light and airy and inviting. The complimentary bruschetta is reminiscent of Ti Amo's. Our server was friendly and gave us time to decide on our meal. We weren't rushed at all. I started with the Sapori salad and it was delicious. The dressing reminded me of Tucci's lemonata vinaigrette. I went with a special, the Chicken Marsala. It was delicious. The baby carrots on the side had a smoky taste that complimented the rich sauce well. Chicken Piccata and the penne with vodka sauce rounded out our table. The only thing that wasn't five stars was the bread sticks. They were a bit pastry like but the sauce was good. I would return! Aall of the staff was friendly and inviting. (The take Yelp reservations, too.)

Very light and lemony Caesar and a delicious veal Parmesan. We hadn't been to Sapori before but were really, really impressed with both food and reasonable price point. I also loved that they had some NA wine options!!

Very good food. Very good service. Racquel was such a nice server. Kitchen was a bit slow. That's why they lost one star. Vibes were vibing. Italian music was playing.

Friend and I went tonight after we decided on pasta. This place is phenomenal, you must go. The lamb and rigatoni are as made perfectly. The cheesy sourdough bread was so good we didn't have enough room for our dinner. My friend chicken Parmesan was hand breaded, flavorful and tender. Ambiance is warm and cozy and stayed busy the entire time. Was a treat to meet the sweet owner. Will above back to try other meals that peaked my interest.

This was our second visit to Sapori before JBros at the BOK, and it did not disappoint! Libby has waited on us both times, and she's been phenomenal. She's yet to miss with a drink recommendation. The pumpkin spice espresso martini was so good... and honestly, dangerously smooth. Highly recommend trying it while it's in season! We've sat both outside and inside. Outdoor seating is perfect for people-watching on Cherry Street, but we also love the cozy, relaxed vibe inside the restaurant. The pumpkin ravioli was my favorite seasonal dish. Rich, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back for it before the season ends. Sapori has officially made it into our Italian restaurant rotation.

I highly recommend Sapori. Great food and service in a classy, comfortable space with outside seating to dine. So cool. Just had the Steak Diane by Chef Angela, best one I've ever had.

They give you in my opinion the perfect ratio of potato, crab shrimp, sausage, and corn. Choose all three seasoning together. You won't regret it. The lobster Mac was good too if you want simple and not as spicy. The crawfish etoufe. It was a little bland but hella spicy. Don't recommend. Desserts For desserts we tried bread pudding, beignets, and the chocolate cake. The bread pudding is like a square block of condensed bread pudding, delicious but those having issues with textures were not a fan. The chocolate cake was super hurt your teeth sweet maybe get a glass of milk to go with it. Beignets were a hit, perfect sweetness level hot and were devoured in minutes. Drinks: Drinks that were ordered were whiskey based. I was not a fan but whiskey drinkers might like. We ordered one cocktail that was more sour than expected and had a strong pour. They were generous. If the food is good don't forget to buy the kitchen a round of beers for $12

The shrimp were tiny and the sandwich was covered with a sauce I didn't like. It should have occurred to me that the fried green tomatoes might also be Cajun. We don't like Cajun but thought the sandwiches might not have all the Cajun seasoning. We should have asked. Another lady at the table got the same thing and she didn't like hers, either. She did ask for ranch dressing for the fried green tomatoes. I followed suite. It did make the tomato's easier to eat but they still were not good. We only got 3 slices each and didn't finish them. I left almost all of my sandwich. I broke off a piece of the bread hoping it might be a good rich bread that I could nibble on. No luck. My husband ordered crawfish étouffée. He said it wasn't warm and tasted like it had been under a heat lamp too long. It was also salty and he has to watch his sodium. He left nearly all of it. One couple ordered voodoo chicken and smashed potatoes. They liked it and ate it all. One person got a chicken sandwich that he said was good. The 2 children got hamburgers and Mac and cheese. They loved the Mac and cheese but barely ate any of the burgers. Their grandmother took a bite of one of the burgers and said it was good. She took the burgers home for the kids. They put the gratuity on the check without telling us. My husband was about to add a gratuity but his sister noticed it was already added and stopped him. They charged us to use a credit card. That alone is enough to keep me from going back. The ambiance was New Orleans decor and pleasant.

When you get there you order at the counter and then find you a table. There were plenty empty tables even though there were lots of people there. The ambience was nice, we were able to sit comfortably and carry conversation. My son and I ordered the catfish and shrimp combo, with a side of green beans, fries, and onion rings and it also comes with two hush puppies. The green beans were delicious. The hush puppies were good but I prefer just plain regular old hush puppies. These tasted like they had maybe jalapeño in it. They went spicy just a little kick to them. The serving size is a big portion for the combos. It came with three fish fillets. The fish was fried good but it lacked seasoning. The shrimp was good! We all actually liked the shrimp. The fries were good too there was just a lot. My son loved the onion rings. My husband ordered the jumbo shrimp combo and he loved his shrimp. They were fried perfectly. He also got a side of corn which was good. I saw this place on TikTok and that's what brought me here. Like I said it was good and I love the fact that it is made fresh right there, but it lacked seasoning. Oh and I also loved that it wasn't fishy, if that makes sense.

They definitely have their own twist on things. The sweet potatoes were good but a little heavy on the nutmeg. They tasted like a mix of apple and pumpkin pie. The mac and cheese was really creamy. I really liked the horseradish coleslaw. I'm not a big fan of collard greens but I still tried them and actually thought they were pretty good. For our mains, two of us had the brisket and one had ribs. Both were super good. There were 4 different sauces. I recommend trying them all. I wanted to try the sausage but they were sold out. I guess you need to get there earlier than an hour before they closed. We finished with a couple desserts. The banana pudding was probably the best I've had. Their seasonal cobbler was blueberry and very tasty! I was hoping for peach. Maybe next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time. It was a lot of food so we had plenty left over that ate for lunch the next day. The atmosphere is super friendly and really clean. Like most barbecue places I've been to there is no table service. You order and pay at the counter. Then depending on how busy they are they will bring your food to your table or have you pick up at the counter. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal. The staff were super nice and treated them just like any other customer. Great food! Great service! Great value! Do yourself a favor and try this place!

The pizza was ready quickly and was super delicious! I love that the crust is nice and thin with some char from the wood fire without being dried out. This was cooked perfectly. There's still a lot of moisture and lightness in the crust which I think you can sometimes lose if a thin crust is overcooked. I also love that they opt for a smaller pepperoni. This adds a better meaty texture on top on the thinner crust, and the little pepperonis curl up around the edges in the best, crispy way! The cheese was a standard nostalgic flavor that complimented the pepperoni well (also the cheese was the right meltiness without separating and becoming super oily). The tomato sauce has a nice brightness to it, not too salty or sweet. Lastly, they generously season this with oregano, which I really enjoyed. We always ate Umberto's growing up. The flavors here almost hit like an elevated, mature version of the nostalgic Umberto's pepperoni to me (a little brighter on the tomato & with that delicious woodfire char). I'm only rating this four stars because for the price range I want something a little more exciting flavor wise. Hope to try some of their more unique topping combos soon which could certainly bump this up to a five star review!
