We flew into Tulsa and this was the first stop no joke after leaving the airport. We used to frequent this location many years ago before we moved, but Man their Seabass is still some of the best you will find anywhere. We also had some catfish and that gumbo is absolutely outstanding.

Seafood kebab, grilled soft shell crabs, onion rings, coleslaw, green beans, drawn butter, hush puppies.

We were staying right at the airport, and the Market was just a 5 min drive. It was recommended by hotel staff. Market Staff were friendly and helpful, and my wife loved the suggested kebab. Food was cooked perfectly. Crabs were tender inside and crispy outside. Sides were a tasty compliment to the food. We also had a cup of seafood gumbo which reminded me of New Orleans. During dinner, I noticed a seafood Caesar salad which would be perfect for lunch tomorrow. We took it to go- perfect! 5* - highly recommend!

Smoked rainbow trout, fried red snapper bites, fried shrimp, fried okra, and a baked potato for $1.50.

Loved it! This place is quintessential old school Tulsa and we could not have been happier with our visit. Fresh oysters, fried red snapper bites, hush puppies, popcorn shrimp, (fresh!) fried okra and a smoked trout plate. Do not sleep on the smoked fish options - so good. The team was welcoming and responsive. And everything was reasonably priced. Will definitely go again!

Service was great. Hazel was excellent. First time there I got the whole catfish and the sampler plate. Catfish was great. Bottom was a little soggy, but otherwise good. Baked potato and rice were great. Sampler platter we got the fried okra. It was all good.

Broiled Platter

Always good food. I had the broiled plattter which is my goto favorite. Tilapia, Shrimp, and Scallops. All were excellent. I did have a first this time. Which was their okra. I had never seen whole fried okra before. It was better than the frozen stuff. But I would prefer to have it cut up using their batter. Service was good. Atmosphere is busy. But they handle lines well. When they are crowded it can get a little noisy. Had to look at market on way out. But wasn't in mood to get anything this time.

Delicious halibut!

This place is such a local gem! Full of locals and I just love that. Walk up to the counter and take your pick of all of the fresh seafood. I ordered the broiled halibut with fried okra and onion rings and hubby ordered the grilled orange roughy and shrimp with pinto beans and onion rings. Wow! My husband did not realize that I had ordered onion rings. The portions were so huge, we could have easily shared those in order to try some of their other sides. I loved how the okra was fried whole instead of sliced and let me add that it is obviously not pre-fried and frozen. So very good. They serve the seafood with melted butter which I promptly poured ALL OVER my halibut. The halibut was so fresh and tasty and was so good with the butter and fantastically huge and delicious hush puppies. Hubby enjoyed his seafood and so did I ;)! He orders beans everywhere we go and the pintos got a thumbs up! This restaurant was one of the cleanest restaurants I have visited in a long time. There was no old grease or deep fryer smell. It is obvious that the kitchen and fryers are cleaned regularly AND THOROUGHLY! The restrooms were immaculate as well. The service was super friendly and attentive. I cannot wait to revisit next time we come to Tulsa. I also bought a quart of the gumbo to go and will update my review after I try it.

Great selection of fish, just not as good as other local fish places. It was a good option for a B large group. 3 1/2 stars

With the mission to bring delicious prepared meals, exceptional quality meat and seafood, peak season produce, decadent baked goods, and fresh seasonal flowers, it certainly has succeeded its mission. The high quality and specialty products unfortunately also carry with it the higher price tags. The Fresh Market is among the most expensive of the high end markets. They have an Ultimate Loyalty Experience, but the cashier couldn't tell me the actual benefits. I think it's similar to Reasor's Rewards with weekly specials. They reportedly have the Tuesday specials (to be confirmed): ground chuck and boneless chicken breast for $2.99 per pound. They also have The Little Big Meal that rotates weekly. For those interested in cooking, they have many recipes on their websites which is unique. If you love the neatness and cleanliness of Reasor's then you are going to love The Fresh Market. I cruised through the store and was thoroughly impressed. Shelves and produce were neatly stocked. Deli products and meats looked really fresh. The quality was definitely there as well as the price tags. I am just not sure if I am the target audience of The Fresh Market, definitely gearing more toward affluent people.

The employees are super friendly. This week, I had to return something and was impressed with how easy and pleasant it is to do that. I bought a bag of rotten lemons. That can happen at any grocery store. The lemons were in a yellow bag and not easy to see and they hadn't started smelling yet. I was amazed at how quick and easy the return was and how friendly the employee handling the return was. Even though Fresh Market is a little pricey, they do have specials
