I hadn't been to Fish Daddy's for a number of years. Today after church my wife and I went for a mid-afternoon lunch. Upon entering, there was already a waiting line to be seated and we were told it would be about a 10 minute wait. The restaurant was quite full, although we did see a few tables that were being cleared. It took us less than 10 minutes to be seated at a booth in the bar area. We had an excellent server who greeted us warmly, gave us a minute, at our request, before taking our drink order. We both ordered a Mexican martini which in my mind was essentially a margarita in a martini glass. This had an olive in the bottom and the drink had silver tequila, Cointreau, orange and fresh lime juice, handshaken or however you want it. The rim was salted. Quite yummy. For a starter, we decided to get onion rings. We were absolutely amazed at how large the portion of onion rings was. If you're an onion ring fan, I think you'll love these. They had a very light coating on them and they were cut fairly thin. Served with two different dipping sauces. They were scrumptious. I also have to say that the prices for literally everything on the menu were so reasonable. It's no secret that restaurant prices have been rising steadily the last couple years. I felt the prices here were several years behind the times. I'm not complaining about that. You get a lot of value when you go to Fish Daddy's. The portions are generous, and the prices are lower than you would think. We decided to split a FD's Combo. You choose three items from a list of seven and you also get to choose two sides. We ordered the cornmeal catfish, the chicken tenders and the fresh North Atlantic salmon. For the sides we choose green beans and a baked potato with sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese. By accident, the Kitchen sent out fried shrimp instead of the chicken tenders, but when I brought that to the attention of our server, he simply brought out chicken tenders and we sort of got the shrimp as a freebie. We had no complaints and were again amazed at the value and how good everything was. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, it was not loud at all. We had absolutely no problem conversing during our meal. Will definitely be a more frequent visitor now that we have reacquainted ourselves with Fish Daddy's Grill House. read more

I went here for lunch for the first time in quite a while. I got what they call a fish taco but I still say it's a fish burrito. The service was a little bit slow today, but they were quite busy. The waiter was very friendly and stayed on top of refilling my water which I appreciated because I drink a lot of water. The food was good quality as always. I enjoyed the different fries. I am sad that they no longer have fried pickles, but the guy said it's been like that for a little while so it tells me how long it's been since I've been here. 5/2/26 4pm....This is my 2nd time coming here and it was horrible. 1st of all the waiter was so sweet and smiling like he likes his job. Ok enough with that let's get into this combo I had which is 3 I guess entrees and two sides so I started off with fried catfish which tasted fake or not done and cold then I had grilled shrimp also cold and etouffee the rue was scorched and also cold the candid carrots were not done and cold the baked potato had a big clop of butter and some thick shredded cheese on top I think that was the only thing that was hot. And the couple I was with didn't want to say anything about the food cuz I didn't want them messing with food that they complain about but I wasn't even attending to even pay just not even eat the food... First, we got the wrong meals. Correct sides, but wrong fish. Second, the steamed broccoli was overcooked, very soft and a bit mushy. Third, my dirty martini was not dirty with one olive. Sad. Our server did not check on us during the meal. A different person brought the food to our table and did not know who got what. Ordered the surf and turf, and the 7 oz steak was like eating the turf. Looked ran over very thin and tough as nails. The grilled shrimp was only 4 and some of it was cold. Baked potatoes was hard and the skin tasted like dirt. Disappointed in mine Hubby said his catfish dinner was good. Past few times coming my meals have felt like there pushed out quickly. read more

Ok, I know I talk emphasize a lot about seafood. I talk about it because being from Louisiana we eat lots of it (fresh). So I took a trip to Tulsa and of course I wanted seafood. Well, my daughter who lives there recommended this place. Let me just say this, I actually forgot I was in Tulsa, OK while I was dining here. Best thing about this place is the price of the food. But you get what you pay for. Had the Fish and Chips tonight and they were undercooked. Appetizer arrived with the dinner, so the kitchens timing was off. The soup would have been good if the shrimp was cooked into it instead of tossed on top. Again, who adds raspberry syrup to key lime pie and wouldn't at least list it on the menu to warn guest of the mess that was coming. Second time around was even better than the first.. Valentine's Day dinner was immaculate!! Enjoyed the onion ring appetizer.. seriously, if you haven't had these, PLEASE try them!! Best onion rings I've had thus far in my life.. the duo dipping sauces add the icing on the cake. Went with the Fresh North Atlantic Salmon for my dinner; nice huge piece of salmon, drizzled perfectly with the champagne lemon butter. Garlic mashed potatoes were a great addition and the broccoli was cooked to perfection. The salmon being served on a bed of rice pilaf was an added bonus. We have tried to dine here before and left by not wanting a long wait due to its popularity. Fortunately, we made a reservation and took my family to dine. Making the reservation was easy via the phone. Very polite and friendly gentleman. We showed up a little early and had a brief wait. The hostess was very nice and seated us within their covered patio. The menu is well laid out for making selections easy to find. We ordered the fresh cedar plank salmon, catfish basket, Gumbo, FD's combo (all shrimp selections - fried, grilled, and crab stuffed), and Boston clam chowder with salads. The food was fresh, cooked to perfection, and absolutely delicious. My 96 year old Dad truly enjoyed the shrimp combo and was very complimentary of the food. I had a slice of their homemade key lime pie. It was tart and good. The overall restaurant was busy with workers working in concert with one another. My son and I ate here on February 17, 2024 around 11:15am. So we were with the early white haired crowd today. It was pretty chilly inside, like they had the ac on, and when it's chilly outside it's not very pleasant to feel cool air blowing on you. I can't remember our server's name but he was very nice. I noticed that onion rings weren't on the menu as a starter. I asked our server if they were still offered and he said yes they just weren't on the menu. Fish Daddy's had gotten the highest rated review for onion rings in the Tulsa area so my entire trip there was based around trying them. They did not disappoint. They are a little thicker than shoestring onion rings but much thinner than Sonic onion rings. They were tempura fried to golden goodness. The homemade ranch dipping sauce that came with them was flavorsome. A nice start to our meal. My son ordered the fish tacos with mashed potatoes and gumbo soup as the sides. I ordered the Fresh North Atlantic Salmon with buttery whipped potatoes and steamed broccoli. I also had the Fish Daddy's house salad with their house dressing. My son really like the jumbo soup and said it only needed a little salt to be perfect. He finished it off with great gusto. I only got about 1/3 way through the FD house salad when they brought out our entrees. The house dressing was a very nice creamy lemon dressing that paired well with the salad. There was only one bite taken from the fish tacos and mashed potatoes on my son's plate before he looked at me sorrowfully and announced, "It's so good, but I'm full I can't eat another bite." So we asked our server for a to go container for the rest and my son assured the server it was wonderful but he had loaded up on onion rings and the gumbo and just couldn't continue his lunch crusade. I didn't have that problem. After I finished off the house salad I made short work of my entree. The broccoli was steamed to perfection and the whipped potatoes were some of the most flavor packed mashed poatatoes I have ever had. Just seasoned to perfection with every bite. The salmon was expertly prepared as well. Seasoned nicely and paired harmoni with the sides. The only negative was the rice blend the salmon was sitting on. It was dry and hard. Not something I admire in rice. They could have left that off the plate and it would not have been missed at all. I had not been there in years and thought to try fish Daddys in Tulsa Oklahoma today. I was hugely very disappointed to receive food that was lukewarm to cold. I ordered fish tacos and got some thing that looked more like a hand roll of some sort. I only gave it two stars because the waitress was quite good about refilling drinks. However receiving food was slow. The hostess was not friendly. I included two pictures of the very very questionable fish tacos. Not even entirely sure what was in them so I took them home to take them apart rather than eat them. I definitely will not return! read more

For the ones unfamiliar with what hush puppies are-they are essentially fried cornmeal! The Catfish Atchafalaya was pretty good and tasty. I was satisfied with my meal and portions. Our server was good and patient. It was 9 of mines but he kept his cool lol. He even helped me pronounce "Atchafalaya" and gave a little history about it. Fish Daddy's Grill House is such a great place for seafood for many reasons. I am the type of person that takes a long time to decide what to eat when trying a new restaurant. When it comes to Fish Daddy's Grill House, deciding what to eat is a no brainer. It's clear as day, the obvious choice is the Fish Daddy's Combo which allows you to choose 3 meats and 2 sides. How much food you want depends on what you choose but fried shrimp, crab stuffed shrimp, and grilled catfish with steamed broccoli and honey buttered carrots should be PLENTY of food. Everything is really good. The best part of the Fish Daddy's Combo is that whole package costs a ridiculously cheap price of under $15. YES, you've heard me correctly, UNDER $15. Many restaurants nowadays have appetizers that cost more than that. I don't think you come to Fish Daddy's Grill House for the drinks which are reasonably priced but not as great, at least the old fashioned - really strong. The service is great. You have one super server that takes care multiple tables at the same time. He or she will run all over the place but will take care of you. As you can guess by now, the restaurant is super busy which it should. Fish Daddy's Grill House is a place that I would be more than happy to come back. During times where inflation keeps rising, we desperately need Fish Daddy's Grill House to keep us from going insane. I had given up on finding a good seafood restaurant in Tulsa. Yeah, I have found a couple of restaurants in Tulsa that have good catfish, but that is about it. I was headed to Red Lobster, then I found the reviews for Fish Daddy's on Google. A whopping 3K+ reviewers have weighed in with a 4.5-star rating. Impressive. My experience at Fish Daddy's was impressive also, and a bargain. Good prices, excellent service, a comfortable modern décor and phenomenal seafood of the quality seldom found outside of Louisiana. We were there 2-3 pm; the restaurant was filled for the entire time. Customers really like Fish Daddy's. Rafael was our server. He was on top of it; perfect service. For me the FD'S combo. Specifically, Shrimp X3, red beans and rice, and slaw. I enjoyed each delicious bite of everything. My wife had the Catfish Atchafalaya. House made crawfish etouffee over a blackened catfish fillet, served with white rice and jalapeño hushpuppies. The crawfish etouffee was spectacular. The only down side is that this popular seafood restaurant is busy busy. Not a relaxing restaurant; a noisy "lively" den of seafood feeding frenzy. read more

The service was great. Everyone we interacted with was friendly and on point. There were 4 of us. The burger and fries were really good. The shrimp and catfish were also really good. The only thing that wasn't good was the tilapia. It was very dry and I had to use a knife to cut it. We also got desert. The key lime pie was great and it was a big slice, not just a sliver. The best thing was the brownie sundae. It was rich and delicious! All in all we had a really good meal and we wil be back asap. We just won't be ordering tilapia again. read more
