Our first time at this establishment. The staff greeted us at the door and were seated immediately. There are no booths here, only table. They serve Pepsi products and the ambiance is definitely casual. It has a cowboy motif and is very authentic. We had a party of four. My wife and SIL had the pulled pork sandwich and mashed potatoes. They both said the sandwiches were good, the BBQ sauce was sweet and tasty. The mashed potatoes and cream gravy were also good. My BIL has the fried shrimp and was served 8 large butterflied shrimp. He actually left 4 on the plate as he was full. He said they were good. I had the all you could eat ribs. Their ribs were delicious. They had a beautiful smoke ring and perfectly smoked. I had the coleslaw and macaroni and cheese. The coleslaw was ok, it needed a little sweetness. The macaroni and cheese was good. It had a little smoky flavor and was wet enough with cheese to appease me. We will definitely be back as the service was fantastic and their menu is pretty extensive. read more

Server She didn't say her name, (strike 1); AND it took over 5 minutes after being seated before she showed up. (Strike 2). When she did make an appearance, she wanted our order quickly. And argumentative. (Strike 3) Ambiance Looks like every BBQ joint in Oklahoma... Just about... WAGON WHEEL light fixture, deer head(s), and the obligatitory fire place. Food There are many other places such as rib crib, and Billy Simms that taste much better. The baked beans were not good at all. The turkey and chicken were okay. The so called spicey sauce tasted like ketchup with hot sauce added. Yuck! (Strike 4) The sliced brisket tastes dry. The chopped brisket did not taste good at all. Since we were up in Tulsa for my therapy appointment today, after the last therapy session, we stopped by Stone Mill BBQ and Steakhouse to pick up our dinner on the way home. Well ordered in through the ChowNow app. My husband got the pork rib dinner with baked beans,mac n cheese, pickle/onion and a roll. I got the sampler which came with onion rings, chicken, brisket, pulled pork and two ribs with ranch and mild sauce. This was our first visit. We were celebrating me getting through the first half of my fall semester of college and graduating from OT(because I will be getting my pump soon for my lymphedema). When we finally got home and settled in, I managed to make it through half the meal, so I have dinner for tomorrow to say the least. But I do have to say it is yummy( especially when in all the chaos of the day, I forgot to eat lunch). I do recommend stopping in and picking some up for lunch. read more

I ordered a pickup meal that was quite tasty. Ordering was unusual, it sent me to ChowNow? Didn't understand it, but called them; they did get my order. She was quite pleasant and explained what I needed to know. I think I was supposed to login to ChowNow to get notifications??? I didn't have to login to order, or for them to take my money. Whatever. Meh... Nothing was terrible yet nothing was great. A Friday night date night and a new location for barbecue saw us at Stonemill bbq and steaks. I ordered a 3 meat combo; Ribs, chopped brisket & pulled pork. Bland describes all 3. The pulled pork slightly tomatoey. The chopped brisket slightly dry, the meat was not too over cooked but had a very minimal flavor profile. My sides were the baked potato and Mac and cheese. (I originally ordered their Stonemill potatoes but sent it back after 2 bites. (It was bland and reminded me of cafeteria potatoes)-they were not bad tasting but not as tasty as advertised. We walked in & was greeted with all smiles. We were seated & the waitress came & took our order. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer & they were great! Crunchy and hot! My dinner came & I was a little disappointed. My fried okra was hot but the rest of my meal was lukewarm I have a rule of NOT sending food back if I intend to eat it, so I didn't complain (although my husband wanted me to send it back) My husband & son enjoyed their food (so I'm guessing my meal was plated before my okra was done cooking & then sent out) either way, my husband eats here often for lunch & enjoys coming, so I will give it another try. We were asked if we wanted to sit in the bar or main dining room and we chose the bar. It was a good choice--much quieter. I liked the nautical themed bar too. We were greeted by "Princess" and she took our drink order. When she returned with drinks, we ordered the AYCE BBQ rib dinners; mine with Stone Mill potatoes and green beans and my wife ordered the tabouli and fried okra. She said the tabouli was really good. I liked my potato's and green beans. [I like pepper!] I could not have ordered more ribs after eating what was first delivered. They were good and filling. Almost didn't get a picture. This year i wanted to keep it simple and not have everyone in kitchen cooking, spreading the germies everywhere and working too hard so i decided to order the holiday dinner package- $125 for the whole meal that serves 10-12 people. We had about 7 this year and had plenty of leftovers. - Nice sized turkey, smoked and pretty delicious. slightly dry but no matter- still flavorful -Dressing: seasoned well, a little mushy but we like ours on the dryer side. -Seasoned green beans were my favorite , smoky, tasty and on point. -Mashed potatoes: buttery, delicious and smooth! -Gravy: Classic gravy, so good-really delicious. -Cranberry sauce: prefect, not too thick but luscious and lovely. -12 rolls, great yeasty rolls, but everyone always wants more rolls. Would have been wonderful to have the plates and silverware too, but no worries. It was great overall. The reason for for 3 stars- when i entered they had a great set up, a table of people to welcome me and direct me. very organized. When I went to the window to pay- there was an employee talking to the woman and he did not have a mask on. She asked me to come on up but he did not move and it was a small area- i was very uncomfortable. i ordered this meal so my family and I didn't have to been in the kitchen and we could space out a bit, but then i worried about this employee not wearing a mask, was he working with the food, was he wearing gloves and being hygienic? He was very close and just chatting with the woman- i didn't even feel comfortable getting close enough to pay. I was a disappointed. Meal was pretty great though. read more

I had lunch here today with a group and the restaurant was miserably cold and no one would do anything about this situation. Won't go back.

We went on a Monday afternoon, around 1pm. It wasn't too busy, but wasn't empty, either. The decor is rustic wood and stone suitable for a BBQ place. It's nice, but not outstanding. The portions are large, and the bread is warm, yeasty, and delicious. Main course food was alright. It had good flavor but lacked presentation and oomph. It was very much like a BBQ style diner (not dinner, but a diner that serves bbq). The fried okra was very fried, almost to the point of burnt. The green beans had bacon in them, were flavorful, and you really can't mess that up. I ordered the 2-meat plate with bologna and polish sausage. The bologna could have used something other than being sliced. Perhaps slice it thicker and throw it on a griddle or grill before serving. Anything would make it more special than how it was served. The polish sausage had good flavor and was not overcooked or dry. The service was great! Our drinks stayed full, and she was available just enough to not be hovering. 5 stars for the waitress. Overall, 3 stars for being decent. Also, 3 stars for not going the extra inch to make it great. read more

We live fairly close & decided to give it a try. The seating is mostly all large tables & no booths. In that respect it feels "cafeteria-ish". By the name, you would expect a rustic type interior & decor. But, it's all over the place - western, rustic, with a little Indiana Jones thrown in. No identity! All that aside, the food was good. My husband ordered bbq sausage, brisket & catfish. I ordered grilled shrimp and baked potato. The portions were large & the prices reasonable. The bread & honey butter is every bit as good as Texas Roadhouse. Service was good & friendly. Only reason for not giving 4 stars is the seating & atmosphere. read more

So today, Wednesday May 26, 2021 this place is the most crowded I have seen this place since COVID-19. We love it, they have great food at a great price. But here is a prime example of why bad service can ruin an experience. My wife and I are seated in the back corner at a 2-person table adjacent to the fireplace. It's 6 pm and the Place isn't crowded yet. We wait for 15 minutes before being approached by our server. She takes our drink orders (water & soda) and returns in good time. We order; my wife has the pulled pork dinner with side salad (blue cheese) and stone mill potatoes, I order Chicken Fried Steak with stone mill potatoes and tabouli. We ask for an appetizer of sautéed mushrooms. This is almost the last time we will see her again. 15 minutes later she brings my wife's salad. My wife asks if we could have rolls? Of course. 15 minutes later we get rolls and ask for drink refills since we are empty. Of course. Our meals arrive about 10 minutes later by a different server. My wife's order is correct. Mine has a baked potato and no tabouli. We ask about the mushrooms, this server says, "oh yeah they have been up a while", she brings them. We ask this server for refills, and inform her about the wrong sides. She brings stone mill potatoes and nothing else. All the food is cold. We try to get our servers attention, she disappears to the bar area a lot. We have now sucked all the ice out of glasses, and again ask for refills, and a to-go box. She gets refills. No box. After 10 minutes I get a box myself, and she brings the check. Says she is sorry, it's just two servers working and she doesn't do this often (there were more than 2) I give her my card. When she brings the card statement I ask if I could get the tabouli that was never brought to-go. She says, Of course, and states that she took what was wrong off the bill. (If you took it off the bill, I would not have been paying full price). She disappeared into the back, and after 7 minutes of waiting we left with the cold food and no tabouli. Rylan, I left you a full 20% tip that you didn't deserve. I am not inclined to return again. read more

Came in for daughters birthday and some all you can eat ribs. Not good. Place was dead, only 3 tables were occupied and yet it took 35 minutes for food to come out. Had 3 orders of all you can eat ribs, one fried shrimp plater, and an order of chips and queso. Starting with the main event, the ribs. They were disgusting. Dried out chewy pork ribs with no flavor. I've had better ribs from Golden Corral. Tasted like day old ribs that had been sitting under a heat lamp all day. Not juicy, no smoke ring, not much meat. To add insult to bad taste, they do the classic "wait forever to bring your food out and then wait forever to come check on you so you can't get many refills on the ribs (not that you'd want more anyway) sham" tactic. Why does it take 35 minutes to get food if the ribs are just sitting under a heat lamp in the back? Oh yeah, they want you to eat a bunch of bread and salad first before you actually get some ribs finally. The server actually just came up and asked if we wanted desert or boxes... umm can we get at least one refill on ribs from the all you can eat special before you push us out the door please!? What the F? Turns out no one else even wanted refills on the ribs at my table they were that bad, besides me, I ordered more just on principle and because I was paying of course, I wanted at least 1 refill for all you can eat. A refill is 3 more ribs at a time and that takes another 15 minutes. So, if you are expecting to come in and pig out on ribs for an hour or two and leave, it ain't happening. Unless you are prepared to sit there for 3 hrs and shout down your server every 15-20min to get 3 more small dried out pork ribs. The fried shrimp was $17 for 6 medium sized fried shrimp and the cocktail sauce was Capital D-disgusting, I mean it tasted like they mixed tobasco sauce and ketchup. Who has spicy cocktail sauce? Disgusting. French fries were unremarkable. So, for over $100 plus tip we got pretty gross ribs that were dry, over-cooked, took forever to come out, and tasted like they had been sitting under a warmer for about 12 hrs. Some over-priced fried shrimp with disgusting spicy cocktail sauce, some average French fries and mediocre queso with standard tortilla chips probably from a bag. How this place has "Barbecue" in its name and is allowed to operate is a joke in itself. 10/10 do not recommend. Food is disgusting and service is basically pushing you out the door. Avoid this place and just buy some ribs from the grocery store and throw them in your oven at home with some generic rub and it's guaranteed to taste better than the "ribs" this place is pushing. It's insulting to pigs and cows to call the food from here barbecue at all. read more

My husband convinced me to give them another try. I guess the first warning was it was 6 pm on a Friday night and the place was empty. We sat down and waited for a waitress. Once we ordered our drinks and food at the same time. That is how long we waited to be greeted. When our food finally arrived it was cold. First sent the chicken back then started on the ribs at that point my husband had to go into the kitchen to get help to get his food heated up. They brought us our bill with no apology or any responsibility for the the poor service or poor food quality. We will never go back to this restaurant. When we walked in the door the BBQ smelled sooo good. Very clean open atmosphere. We realllly enjoy the rolls & honey butter. We received quick accurate service. We have small appetites & We got the smokehouse fries & they were amazing just like they've always been. They had choices of & blackberry cobblers which are my favorite, but we are trying to cut back to decrease our waistlines. We were seated in the dining room and waited about 8 minutes before someone came to take our order. I'm in the Tulsa area a couple weeks each year for business, going again next week. I've always had great luck with the Stone Mill bbq. I stay at a hotel nearby. It's very convenient for business travelers to order online or using the app, pickup your meal as carry-out at Stone Mill's drive-thru, and take it back to the hotel after a long day of work. The food has always been pretty good! I usually order the steak and/or some shrimp. Their banana pudding dessert and bread pudding dessert are very good. I have no complaints, and have always had a very good experience. The lady who is usually working at the drive-thru is always very friendly and pleasant as well... it seems to be the same lady ever time I'm in town and picking up an order. Tonight we decided to try Stone Mill BBQ after receiving a $10 off $30 dine in meal. We ordered our meals - my husband the combo of brisket/chicken and I a chicken dinner. The chicken was very good - much better than the brisket. But, we won't be ever coming back. For starters, our water was never refilled, and the "bread" was 2 small rolls, not ever refilled either. But the thing that was jaw dropping - our meals came to $28, so to use the coupon, we ordered a dessert, which topped our pre-tax bill to over $30. We asked for the dessert to be a "to-Go" since we wanted to eat it later during a tv program. The Manager decided that she could not honor our coupon because the whole meal had to be "dine-in", and not "to-go". I thought we were dining in!! Needless to say we then had the server put the dessert on a plate and we reluctantly ate it there, and we did get the discount. Management really doesn't want to honor the coupon and made a terrible customer service decision. Just unbelievable. read more
