How can you argue about a pound of extremely needy burnt ends for 10 bucks. Throwing a side of baked beans at a nice frosty cold F5 and I'm good.

This review is for the Harvard Street store, which is super easy to find with plenty of parking. What struck me immediately was the friendly service--not always the case--duh--at places where you order at the counter and then everything is delivered to your table. But I will be a repeat visitor whenever I'm in Tulsa for the ribs alone--meaty, tender and great smoked taste. We also thought the turkey was excellent--tender, moist and again just enough smoke to set it off. Hot links were exceptional too. Totally impressed with the sides, crispy okra, creamy Mac and cheese and slaw with a bit of bite. Comfy tables and booths, clean and well kept. Stay awhile! First but not last time at Albert's

Delicious BBQ!!! Ribs was made fresh and tender with that good smoke flavor! Tender as ever! Mac and cheese was creamy and just perfect! My fav here!!!! Potato salad is more mayo than mustard how I like!!!!! My toast was just little hard.... But service was great. Workers so friendly! The parking lot is little and always crazy be careful!!! Pretty much self service once you order and sit down.

Albert G's first opened to the Tulsa public in 1992 at a refurbished gas station. Now it's available at the Harvard, Downtown, and Tulsa Hills location. Most people know Albert G's for their smoked meats, few know that it's anti-scurvy, especially the founder Chuck Gawey. The steamed broccoli at Albert G's is truly terrible. It tastes like the broccoli is steamed in lemon juice, extremely sour. I feel protected from scurvy for the next 3 years by eating half of the steamed broccoli. The good news is the fried okra is a lot better; thank goodness! Nothing beats the fried okra from Oklahoma Joe's though. The ribs are the restaurant's biggest highlight, very flavorful and savory, a little dry than one would desire, but delicious otherwise.

A Saturday lunch with my wife saw us at Albert G's barbecue. I have been here before but it has been years so a revisit was in order. The staff was as friendly as ever. The food soon arrived and I was reminded that Tulsa is indeed a good city for barbecue. The ribs are not the most tender but certainly didn't disappoint in flavor and was just tender enough to be enjoyed. The barbecue beans were very well done the right level of spice to make them interesting but not over power your taste buds. The chopped brisket was smoky and moist. The atmosphere was modernly industrial as befits a modern commercial barbecue restaurant. I definitely recommend Albert G's for good Tulsa barbecue

Three meat combo. Brisket, pulled pork and hot links

Good stuff over at Albert G's. Ordered up the three meat combo. Brisket, Pulled Pork and Hot Links. All very yummy. Good Smokey flavor. Nice and casual establishment with a fair amount of seating.

Tried Albert Gs for the first time today. I love BBQ and am somewhat of a stickler. I know it's a Tulsa staple but the brisket was super dry. Ribs were solid. We got 5 in the combo platter. The sides were good and portions were solid as well. They were out of burnt ends so I didn't get to try them. Not sure I'll go back, was hoping to like it but the brisket killed it for me. Service was good.

They definitely have their own twist on things. The sweet potatoes were good but a little heavy on the nutmeg. They tasted like a mix of apple and pumpkin pie. The mac and cheese was really creamy. I really liked the horseradish coleslaw. I'm not a big fan of collard greens but I still tried them and actually thought they were pretty good. For our mains, two of us had the brisket and one had ribs. Both were super good. There were 4 different sauces. I recommend trying them all. I wanted to try the sausage but they were sold out. I guess you need to get there earlier than an hour before they closed. We finished with a couple desserts. The banana pudding was probably the best I've had. Their seasonal cobbler was blueberry and very tasty! I was hoping for peach. Maybe next time. Yes there will definitely be a next time. It was a lot of food so we had plenty left over that ate for lunch the next day. The atmosphere is super friendly and really clean. Like most barbecue places I've been to there is no table service. You order and pay at the counter. Then depending on how busy they are they will bring your food to your table or have you pick up at the counter. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal. The staff were super nice and treated them just like any other customer. Great food! Great service! Great value! Do yourself a favor and try this place!

We ordered the tri tip dip sandwich which was the highlight of the meal. It was delicious. We also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and that was full of flavor. The focaccia was on the dryer side and the chicken didn't fill out the bun so it was just kind of off texture wise and lacking fullness but the favor was 10/10. The chips and red onion dip were a nice little touch. Something I've never had before and we enjoyed it

Fellow friends, you better get on it before people taste this bit of heaven or they will start running out of bbq to share. We got the chubby cheeks taco, a beef rib and heritage pork rib. Everything was just love. I can't explain it well enough but when you try, you'll know what I'm taking about. My absolute favorite was the Beef rib. The beef rib was melt in the mouth, succulent and perfectly seasoned. My bbq soul is complete. Their bbq sauce they have is fantastic and their other sauces are killer too! The service was fantastic. They were extremely nice and helpful. It's a food truck so I'm sure they move around but this time they were located behind American Solera. I can confidently say they are the bbq masters of Tulsa. I can't believe Tulsa would have such amazing BBQ but these folks do it right. Overall, it's the best BBQ I've ever put in my mouth! They know exactly what they are doing with their meats. I'll be back in the future.

It's hard to fathom that the meat could be that smoky, juicy and flavorful. The sliced brisket is better than anything you will find in town without a doubt in my mind. Stop, stop, STOP. Whatever else you're thinking about going to eat, just forget about it…read more You've found the place you're looking for. This place is the best bbq in Oklahoma, and I know that's a bold statement for something out of a trailer, and yet it's true. These guys just took over ownership a couple weeks ago so I expect it to get even better with time. TULSA IS WINNING. I absolutely stalk good bbq places and so I usually don't put too much stock in them meeting me expectations. But when you see Nick pull that brisket out of that brown waxed paper and watch the jiggle as he slices through that amazing bark, you'll realize you've hit the jackpot. We grabbed the food for 2 and it was an incredible sampler of all of their meats. And the sides... GET THE BACON CHEESE GRITS. Holy moly rolly poly that little styrofoam cup should come with a warning label because it's absolutely ridiculous. The chicken was so juicy, I was almost more impressed by it honestly. But brisket of this tier is just such a rare find... the other two with me easily admitted it was the best they've had in their entire life. Ribs too. We also didn't expect to be able to find an open patio on a Saturday, but the outdoor space provided created such a laid back experience with the outdoor tables I felt like I could kick back, eat some Q and let all the stresses of the world melt away. Go. Just go. Go now. The lines on this place are going to be a mess soon, I'm sure. So get there now before everyone and their dog starts standing in line until they sell out like a certain unnamed Ft Worth place I know.

Stutts BBQ in Tulsa hits you with that rare, disarming warmth where the food is great, sure, but…read morethe real hook is the feeling that you just wandered into someone's family kitchen and they decided to feed you until you stop talking. The chopped brisket carries that perfect Tulsa flavor. It's not trying to be Austin, it's not chasing trends, it's just deeply smoked, tender, and unapologetically saucy in a way that makes you rethink why you ever bothered with sliced brisket at all. The ribs come out with that gentle tug, not the fall apart nonsense, the kind of rib that tells you the pitmaster actually respects the craft. And the hot links bring the heat in that slow, creeping way that makes you nod to yourself like, yeah, this is the right kind of trouble. But the buttermilk pie is the closer. The secret handshake. The thing that makes you sit back in your chair and realize you're not in a restaurant, you're in a home that just happens to have a smoker out back. It's creamy, tangy, sweet, and somehow nostalgic even if you've never had it before. It's the dish that makes you text someone immediately. Stutts isn't polished. It isn't corporate. It's lived in.
