We tried again to eat at Rubicon after we haven't been back for several years. I didn't want to drive to the Original, so we opted to eat during regular business hours. It was closed. When we called someone answered and said they aren't taking any orders today and hung up. I am guessing not much changed between them being out of things and not being open when there hours say they are open. I would definitely go to the restaurant on 36th St N and Harvard. read more

Rubicon had a couple tables inside but it looked like people just waited in their cars for their food to be ready probably because the restaurant smelled strongly of bbq. You order at the front and it takes about 30-40mins and they tell you this in advance. We probably should have called or order in but it was our first time. We got the 2 meat potatoe with brisket and bologna. It came with a small side salad with ranch dressing already on it, 1 piece of bread and the potatoe was smothered with bbq sauce and 5 thin slices of cheese. They gave you a good portion of meat on top of the potato. It was good and big enough to share with someone! read more

Honestly, one of the best potatoes I've tried. They are very generous with the meat that they put on them will be going back.

This is hands down the best place to buy a loaded potato In Oklahoma. Their hours suck but when your potatoes are this good you get to choose when you want to work. They lady at the front counter is always sweet and they always get my wife's difficult order correct. read more

I got the Chicken potato and it was excellent. It came with toast and a small salad. I got it to go, I split it with my wife it was so large. I had never been there before and found it only has two tables inside and looks like mostly pickup orders moving. Highly recommend you give it a try. read more

So I ordered everything on the side of my chicken baker, because I eat in a calorie deficit and add my own butter/sour cream. My husband did not, and he wasn't so crazy about his potato. I feel like they should disclose there is a creamy Italian dressing or something of the sort on the potato. Also, upon presentation, it could do without the piece of processed cheese on the top. The flavor doesn't add to the potato which is actually delicious and so is the chicken. The potato is soooo good with chicken and I usually don't like shredded chicken. I couldn't give this a fair review, because of the dressing on the potato. Nor could I give it a fair review for service because the potatoes were cooked and it was a 25 minute wait. There wasn't really a vibe. Lots of pick up orders I'm guessing. I'm assuming that's why our order took so long, call in ahead. Truly give this place if you live in Jenks. For a place called Rubicon potato you would think that they would have potatoes. Unfortunately after ordering and paying for our potato dishes we were informed that they could not fulfill them because they didn't have enough potatoes prepared and we would have to make another selection off of their menu. So half of our party got their potato dish and half had to settle for sandwiches. The chicken potato was drowning in ranch, and BBQ sauce and the chicken and potato was somehow still dry. The two meat chicken and hot link sandwich was painfully dry. The "hot links" had no heat in the meat. Only bottled drinks. So if you needed something to rinse down your dry dinner be prepared to be price gouged on your bottled beverage. The establishment itself was tiny. Only had three small tables, and they were pushed so close together that you were practically sitting on the lap of the stranger next to you. Although I think the lap of the stranger next to you would be preferable to the small wooden stool provided to sit on. Seriously uncomfortable, causing back pain. read more

We love getting take out from Rubicon once a week. I always get the chicken potato, my husband gets the brisket potato and my daughter gets the chicken potato with all toppings on the side. Our orders are always correct and there is always enough for two meals. They are very polite and friendly. read more

This place is so good! I had the baked potato with brisket. It came with a small salad and toast. The potato was so big I had to take a lot of it home. The seating is very limited, only three small booths. But there were a lot of people taking orders to go. I really enjoyed the food and will definitely be back! read more
