The potato salad tasted like it was Ben E Keith's with a little bit of homemade thrown into it. Grits were creamy and peppered looking, just absolutely no flavor and not warm. The flavor, bark and seasonings were all good. The ribs were seasoned good and had a great taste. They fell apart easily (although I prefer a slight tug) and didn't seem to have much smoke in them. Both sides were great. I forgot to check for deserts. I think this is a staple in the area that a lot of folks have connected with.

For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal.
