Super friendly! If I lived in the area, it would be very tempting to come every Saturday. We came here during our honeymoon and when I saw I still talk and think about how tender the beef brisket was (even COLD) -- I don't think I ever had such good tasting bbq and experience. The sides had their own flare (please get at least 2 sides) they were soo sooo good! And they paired really well with the bbq. He knows what he is doing and this is coming from someone who loved bbq and will probably judge bbq for real in the future. Also I think the prices are fair and reasonable considering the high quality and care Highly recommend!

The lean and fatty brisket. Most excellent.

Excellence as advertised! I really hate it when a business advertises itself to be something and it turns out that they are not. That is NOT an issue with KillerWail BBQ. This guy ( Austin native) advertises his work as authentic Hill Country Texass BBQ and he delivers spot-on. James LOVES heading to Austin and feasting on great low and slow bbq, but now I can get that great taste in Tulsa. Usually on the truck he has brisket (fatty and lean available), pulled pork and pork ribs as far as meat goes, and potato salad, coleslaw, and beans as a side. The brisket is best I've had in Tulsa, not quite as good as Snow's or Kreuz in Texass but those are a pretty high bar. I love how his brisket has nice bark on the fat. He uses just a salt n pepper rub like you are supposed to for Texass bbq. Haven't had the pulled pork yet, but the pork ribs are better than anything I've had in the Hill Country so they are def worth heading to KW to try. The coleslaw is def his best side and worth a try, even if like me you don't usually like coleslaw. His stuff is very reasonably priced for the quality of his product. He has a sauce there but only bbq newbies would ever dream of putting sauce on his brisket or ribs. Facebook is the best way to contact the guy for his schedule. Like I said, if you like the slow and low meat out of the Austin area this is a damn good substitute until you can get back there for bbq.

Oh my! So i am not a bbq fan. No I *AM* but I am the world's biggest snob when it comes to bbq. And it takes a lot to wow me but Had Killer Wail for member lunch at 36 Degrees North & I am in love! The slaw had a touch of cilantro & the red wine vinegar was the perfect touch. But the brisket, the brisket stole the damn show. I got the delicious, bark end & Seriously delicious & the bbq master himself was encouraging feedback & criticism! The beat bbq in Tulsa--hands down!

All I can say is WOW!!! The best BBQ in Tulsa hands down. Brisket, Pulled Pork amazing. Smoked chicken salad rocked. Try them out fast.

Is killer wail still open Saturdays?

Yes. Follow him on IG, abd he starts smokin' the meat Fridays I believe. Unsure if the holidays change it a bit

Fellow friends, you better get on it before people taste this bit of heaven or they will start running out of bbq to share. We got the chubby cheeks taco, a beef rib and heritage pork rib. Everything was just love. I can't explain it well enough but when you try, you'll know what I'm taking about. My absolute favorite was the Beef rib. The beef rib was melt in the mouth, succulent and perfectly seasoned. My bbq soul is complete. Their bbq sauce they have is fantastic and their other sauces are killer too! The service was fantastic. They were extremely nice and helpful. It's a food truck so I'm sure they move around but this time they were located behind American Solera. I can confidently say they are the bbq masters of Tulsa. I can't believe Tulsa would have such amazing BBQ but these folks do it right. Overall, it's the best BBQ I've ever put in my mouth! They know exactly what they are doing with their meats. I'll be back in the future.

It's hard to fathom that the meat could be that smoky, juicy and flavorful. The sliced brisket is better than anything you will find in town without a doubt in my mind. I can honestly say that you would be doing yourself a disservice by skipping this place next time you're out for bbq or tacos.

This red taco truck is easy to spot on 15th and S Atlanta Avenue (across Reasors/Good Cause…read moreBrewing). They joined the Catalyst Coworking parking lot about a year ago. Their menu is pretty straightforward with common offerings like quesadillas, street tacos, tortas, burritos, and aguas frescas. I visited after the lunch rush, so it wasn't busy and the staff took my order right away. Their birria tacos and street tacos are delicious. Not a lot of places have suadero (thin cut of beef) as a meat, so that's a great option. Their horchata is pretty good too. I ordered my food to go and waited inside Brice's coffee. However, they do have some covered sitting available. I believe the idea is to make the spot into a food truck park (there's already a burger truck and soon there'll be a ramen one).

I have been wanting to catch this food trailer open. I finally did on a busy weekday on Route 66!…read more(I noticed that the trailer is open more days now.) The best baloney sandwich I've ever had was what my grandmother used to make---thick slices of baloney (the kind with the red film around the edge) on white bread slathered with mayo. Sorry, Grandma, Baloney Maroney's is MUCH better. I was expecting a thick slice of baloney but it was shaved. I ordered the Tulsan. The white bread was toasted perfectly, the lettuce and tomato were fresh and that shaved smoked baloney.... No words. The chef was so friendly. Good price too. I will be back to try some of their other offerings.

Well see, a couple weeks ago I was visiting Tulsa, fooling around down there in the Meadow Gold…read moreDistrict like I always do. I remember laughing when I read the name Baloney Maroney's on a sticker. I asked a local if it was a real place. He said yeah, not only is it a real place, it's just up the block on the other side of the street. So, of course I had to check it out. Now, this place specializes in Smoked Bologna Sandwiches, and they have like five different versions on the Menu. I had no idea what to order. I told the guy at the ordering window I had never had a Smoked Bologna Sandwich before and asked for his recommendation. Without any hesitation he told me to get The Tulsa. "The Tulsa?" I asked as I quickly glanced at the menu trying to find out what else besides smoked bologna was on the sandwich. "Yes", he answered. "The Tulsa. It's Perfect." When he handed me my sandwich five minutes later I discovered he wasn't lying. That sandwich was perfect. Magnificent in its simplicity, this sandwich far exceeded my loftiest expectations. I particularly love that it's made with a good quality, toasted white bread. The lettuce and tomato are the perfect balance to the bologna. And let me tell you, that smoked bologna is Freaking Epic. I appreciate that it was smoky, but not overly smoky. I also appreciate that there was a good portion of meat on the sandwich. My only regret is I only ordered one sandwich. My visit was just before the place closed for the day. By the time I finished my sandwich and realized I wanted another one, they were closed. For god's sake, don't let this happen to you! Be smart, order yourself an extra sandwich. Even if you don't think you can eat another sandwich, get one anyway. You won't be sorry. That sandwich was the best sandwich I had in the first quarter of 2026, and is now in the running for my personal Sandwich of The Year. Mikey C says: thank you, Baloney Maroney!
