This place has officially become my new favorite BBQ restaurant, & I will absolutely be coming back over & over again. ‼‼ We ordered what felt like nearly the entire menu, & every single meat was exceptional. The ribs were the star of the show, perfectly smoked, incredibly tender, juicy & packed with unbelievable flavor. They literally melted off the bone. The brisket was buttery tender with an incredible smoke ring. The pulled pork was moist & flavorful without needing extra sauce. The smoked chicken was unbelievably juicy, the house made sausages were outstanding, the smoked bologna was surprisingly delicious, & even the smoked ham completely exceeded my expectations. Every single bite showed the amount of care & time that goes into preparing these meats. The baked beans were rich & flavorful, the coleslaw was fresh it didn't feel overwhelmed with seasonings which is very crispy and just delicious vegetables & every side complemented the BBQ perfectly. I honestly kept eating because I simply couldn't stop tasting everything. Every meat had its own unique flavor, & I kept saying, "Just one more bite." What made this experience even more unforgettable was the owner. I have visited countless restaurants over the years, but I have never met a restaurant owner who showed this level of genuine kindness, hospitality, humility & appreciation toward his guests. You can immediately tell this isn't just a business, it's a passion built with love, hard work & pride. The atmosphere is warm, relaxed & authentic. You feel welcomed from the moment you walk through the door, & the rustic smokehouse décor only adds to the experience. If you love real BBQ, this place belongs on your bucket list. For a long time, when I've thought of Oklahoma BBQ, I've thought of Burn Co. I remember going to the downtown location every semester before finals at TU and loving every second of it. Burn Co does an excellent job with their customer service and creating a client-focused experience. While we waited in a long line (everyone wants some of this BBQ), a lady came by with napkins and a tray of their ribs and asked us all if we wanted a rib while we waited. That first taste in line made my appetite spring through the roof because I knew I was getting more. Then at the register I was talking to the lady about everything I wanted to try and their various combos and she worked with me to get me exactly what I wanted. I got the BBQ Tour with no bun, and it came with chopped brisket, two baby back ribs, and a chicken drumstick. Then she added a side of pulled pork and I ordered the Mac and cheese. It was a bunch of food and everything was delicious! Their house BBQ sauce was good too--not too sweet and just the right flavor to complement the meats. We were so excited to have their yummy BBQ. We hadn't had it in a long time. We stood in line for about 30 minutes only to find out everything we wanted was sold out. I'm happy for them but it just stinks when you waste time. Wish they would put up a board saying we're out of chicken, chopped and sliced brisket, ribs, the yummy Mac n cheese and pulled pork. Omg. Just omg. Best smoked ribs I've ever had. Was visiting OK from CA and stopped here with my parents and brother for lunch on a Saturday at 11:30am. There was already a line but the free rib sample certainly made the wait more delicious. We shared a brisket sandwich, full rack of ribs, two sausages, two coleslaws and an order of mac and cheese. It was all so so so good! The woman at the register was kind and helpful. And then Tyson delivered our food to our outside table over looking the river, and he made sure we were enjoying ourselves and brought us some samples of bologna and "the fatty". Tim and yum. You order at the counter & then the food is brought to the table, which is a mix of park benches and small tables. It's a fun place to bring someone from out of town or if you have a craving for some tasty meat and bbq. Very casual too! We blindly walked up on this gem while visiting the Riverfront. While waiting near the counter to order, a gentleman walked up to serve ribs to everyone in line. The ribs were very tender with a light bark. They definitely put a smile on my face. The restaurant was nicely set up with long tables for large groups. The chandelier at the entrance had just under 200 knives hanging down. Interesting for sure. We ordered sliced brisket (small portion), chopped brisket on a bun, and a ham and cheese sandwich. My wife said it was the best barbecue ham and cheese sandwich she's ever had. Each of us loved our dishes. The sliced brisket easily came apart as I gently tugged on it. Impressive! There's also a hat at the front counter in which someone offered $1000, but the business turned them down. I recommend this place for solid tasting barbecue! read more

We have frequented here a few times now and enjoy it. The ribs are some the best I've had as the meat just falls off the bone, but yet is still juicy. The brisket and other meats are also good including the iconic "fatty", but to me there's nothing that makes them stand out. On the latest visit, I had a burnt ends sandwich with grilled potato salad. The burnt ends were good, It would be nice to have them a little more tender, but all in all very good. The mac & cheese is outstanding here. The grilled potato salad is like I've ever had. It's not mayo or mustard based. It's literally just the vegetable ingredients grilled and seasoned and put in a bowl. It is absolutely amazing 10 out of 10. The atmosphere is good here as well with an old butcher case in front displaying the meats and a central front counter with the chopping block just behind preparing meals. All the meat is smoked in several locally popular hasty bake grills every night. Everyone sits together here like an old style chow hall with long picnic style tables inside and out. Hands down the best BBQ in Tulsa. Ribs and sliced brisket are the best. The Mac n cheese actually tastes like real cheese and tallow. Service is solid, order st the window and just listen for your name. There is a chill vibe in the restaurant with people from all walks of life. If you have to wait to order they bring ribs out to sample. This makes Burn Co the only place I ever hope there is a line. This restaurant was our first stop on a 10 day road trip through multiple states. The food was excellent! The people were very friendly and attentive. The warehouse atmosphere was fun - especially for lunch. It seemed very family friendly! We chose to eat indoors at the temperature was very high and the humidity was high as well. We arrived at 1:40 pm and the restaurant was already out of some local favorites. However we did have chopped brisket and pulled pork and both were scrumptious! We can understand how they run out of the favorites! If we lived locally, we would probably frequent the restaurant. After lunch, my husband and I strolled outside for a short while along the Arkansas River before returning to our road trip. First off, while we were waiting in line and looking through the menu one of the workers came around and gave everyone in line a sample of their ribs. What a great business model cause if you're not sure about the ribs, now you can try it before committing (but you should just commit to getting the ribs). I don't know why it took us so long to visit Burn Co. Service was excellent. They were giving out free ribs as testers, and we got free drinks since it was our first visit. The ribs and brisket were delicious. I could eat all of it without any additional sauce. The meat wasn't too salty too. The mustard bbq sauce in the yellow bottle was unique. I heard about this place from an Uber driver. Place is cool, no service table. Order at counter for dining and they called my name. I had the 6 piece bbq ribs. Ribs are great. You can feel the smoky flavor and not a lot of bbq sauce which is great. They have 2 different bbq sauces at the tables. You have to purchase the sides separately. I had the slaw which was crunchy and the beans. Food is great. Only thing that they don't have is corn bread. I wish they had it. Price was about $40.00 including the tip. Not everything was to my taste but everything was excellent, hot and well seasoned and the friendliness of the establishment was off the charts! Excellent management! Here is the review on my food: 1. Pulled pork was very nice. Didn't run into any of the fatty gristly stuff you do at other places. Nice flavor! 2. Grilled potato salad - this was recommended to me at the counter when I was ordering sides as the house favorite. It was fried potatoes and peppers. It wasn't my thing but while I was there people came in and ordered it by the gallon to go. So if you like it you like it! Worth a try. 3. Mac & cheese. This was an interesting take on an old favorite. There was an absolute ton of crispy bacon in the mac & cheese which I just don't know how that was done. Loaded with bacon! More bacon than cheese I think! 4. Coleslaw : excellent! Creamy and crunchy and fresh! 5. Beans: very spicy! I liked the spice in the flavor! This was my very first spot to eat at in Tulsa. I ordered the rib tour with the jalapeño cheese sausage and pulled pork. I got to try the brisket as well. So if you're worried about COVID, let's just say that this restaurant doesn't think so. I get it, CDC says it's fine but just me personally along with my wife we wore our masks when we were inside and then ate outside. None of the patrons wore any masks, and just some workers. Anyways, don't know how you feel but I think it's just preference now. Onto the food. The brisket I thought was dry, not plump and juicy so I think they tend to give out more lean than fatty or you have to make sure that you state what type of brisket you would want. The sausage wasn't bad, and the pulled pork was well, pulled pork. The sauce they offered was on the sweet side, not a surprise there. Reddit directed us to this spot, and I would say this place kind of fell flat. There's outdoor seating right next to the river, which I thought was pretty cool. Indoors, there was live music which I thought was neat as well if you're trying to hear some tunes. Tldr: I think Burn Co BBQ is just alright.
