The ribs lacked seasoning and didn't taste smoked. The Polish sausage had very little flavor. The chopped brisket was dry and under-seasoned. The baked beans were not cooked properly and were unpleasant to eat. The mac and cheese tasted like it was made with Velveeta and lacked flavor. The only items that were enjoyable were the barbecue sauce and the bread. My ratings: * Ribs: 4/10 * Polish sausage: 2/10 * Chopped brisket: 4.5/10 * Baked beans: 1/10 * Macaroni & cheese: 3/10 * Barbecue sauce: 5/10 I'm sharing this feedback in hopes that the kitchen can make some improvements better seasoning, proper smoking, and more care with sides could really make a difference. Ordered the ribs and brisket dinner with potato salad and (suggested) beans. Service was very fast. Lean brisket was brittle and had no flex. Maybe it sat a bit in the warmer. The flavor, bark and seasonings were all good. The ribs were seasoned good and had a great taste. They fell apart easily (although I prefer a slight tug) and didn't seem to have much smoke in them. Both sides were great. I forgot to check for deserts. I think this is a staple in the area that a lot of folks have connected with.

You order and pay at the counter. Then depending on how busy they are they will bring your food to your table or have you pick up at the counter. For me the cherry on top is their pay it forward meal. For $15 you can buy a meal for someone in need. They hand you a receipt that you pin to a board. Then when someone needs a meal they can go in and grab one off the board. They offer them their lunch special. While I was there I saw a very grateful individual come in and get a meal.
