Two Medium, perfect crispy hashbrowns and bacon.
Spike S.

This is the real deal small town country café. The only thing missing is a couple of dogs lying on the floor keeping warm by a big pot belly stove. Looks like a family ran operation. There was a couple finishing up their breakfast when we walked in, and an older fellow on the other side of the diner. Later on, locals, mostly working men dropping in for breakfast or early lunch as the morning progressed. There were a couple of fine looking tall stacked hamburgers delivered to a table in the other dining room. The cooks were doing prep work for lunch. Three big baskets of fresh cut potatoes were in queue over the fryer, awaiting the order to "drop the fries!" I had my usual: two medium, bacon, hashbrowns, biscuit and gravy with a cup of coffee. My wife had pancakes with bacon. When I ordered I asked for crispy bacon and crispy hashbrowns. The lady that took our order, asked "how crispy?' My reply "crispy crispy." She replies "I have your bacon ready." I was not disappointed; the crispy was delivered. Hashbrowns and bacon cooked the way I ordered it; the way I like it. Good biscuit and gravy, the eggs a little over cooked. My wife had the same crispy bacon and two hubcap sized pancakes. One was a meal. The first thing my wife and I noticed was the coffee. It was unusually perfect for diner /café coffee. Not tasteless and watered down. I asked about it. I was surprised. Nothing special. It was a well-known consumer brand. She said "I just make it properly strong enough." A great breakfast, a good cup of coffee and adequate friendly service. I have read excellent reports on the burgers and CFS.

Cow Meets Chicken breakfast.

We had the Cow meets chicken breakfast, which is CFS, two eggs, potatoes, and gravy. I had a biscuit with it. We also had a CFS dinner with mashed/gravy and brown beans. The food was good. My wife said her side items weren't cold, but not warm enough for her. She liked the CFS. The service was good and staff very friendly. They were out of fried pies, so we didn't get a chance to try those. Will definitely go back.

Fried chicken sandwich and I asked for my onion rings well done, so that's why they are well done.

We absolutely love their food! Breakfast, lunch and dinner! It's always delicious every time we go! The service is always fantastic!

This pork ribeye was so moist and tender, and had a very good flavor.

Hometown comfort food. Better on weekdays than weekends. Chicken bites and fried shrimp dinners our favorite

So if ambience is a # 1 for your experience this is not your place. The food however is fresh and fantastic. This is the real deal in street tacos. I had the carne asada and the Pastor tacos. Super delicious with all the right spices dancing the Macarena on your taste buds. Wash it down with Coke in a glass bottle to let that fizz spread the joy! Staff struggles with English a bit but are sweet and very good people. Go a few times and they know your order by heart! Mucho gracious Taco La Tia

I've never had anything on the menu that I didn't love. Today I had the Torta Al Pastor. I would put this Torta up against any in the area. Every bite is perfection! I'm also a huge fan of their Enchiladas Rojas! The Dillon bowl is also a regular staple of mine. It's a simple rice bowl with your choice of 2 perfectly seasoned/marinated meats. The servers here are always very polite and attentive. They put up with our antics weekly with a wry, empathetic smile (note the 32 oz. Modelo). The restaurant has seating to accommodate 20-25 people comfortably, which is needed for the daily lunch rush. Tacos La Tia has a blue collar feel yet their food is that of an upscale, high-end eatery. Every dish is packed full of flavor and the portions are just right! If you're in Muskogee, come see what all of the hype is about!

Montrose, CO is a kicking town - lots of traffic, people on the move, it was a pretty warm day in early July. This cafe is downtown right off the main drag with a corner location. At the time of our visit there was quite a bit of street and sidewalk renovation going on. Reviews sounded pretty good for the place, so we parked and walked on over. Greeted and told to sit anywhere. The lunch crowd was coming in and the place was starting to fill up with what looked to be workers from local businesses as well as family groups and friends meeting up. We placed our orders and sat around watching the people and talking. Husband ordered a quesadilla, and I ordered a torta. i must admit the torta was smaller than i expected and I could tell the waitress thought i'd made a mistake by not ordering more for lunch ... i agreed at first. I ate the torta, there was pico de gallo and such to go along with it. The husband passed me a slice of his quesadilla (it was good) and surprisingly it was all enough. Nice. Went to the bathroom (there's 2) and it was clean and nice sized. Paid the bill, walked on out.

DUDE!!! This place is LEGIT Mexican food. Like right off a taco truck in San Diego legit. Excellent…read morered and green sauces. We all tried something different and everything was great. By far the best I have had in a long time. It will always be our new stop on the way between Fort Smith and DFW. I don't even leave reviews on things like this but I was just super excited to finally find something worth eating in McAlester (and open on a Sunday evening no less!). PS. My son had the Al Pastor tacos and said it was the best Al Pastor he has ever had.
