I almost used the entire bottle of salsa roja. The restaurant is a small, friendly, family ran operation. The clean interior is plain with café style booths and a few tables. Grab your favorite canned or bottled soda from the cooler. The food is served on foam plates with plastic tableware. The ambiance is afternoon day care. Several, 2- to 3-year-old, well behaved kids were under mom's watchful eye while she worked the front counter. They still made a lot of ear-splitting noise. The restaurant has seating to accommodate 20-25 people comfortably, which is needed for the daily lunch rush. We waited inside their to-go building next door since there are some chairs. A guy saw us waiting and came over with a full tray of mini conchas (my love language). I don't know any other restaurant that offers them and they are delicious. The texture is more hearty and dense than regular ones and they're less sweet as well. But this gives me a reason to return to try their other meat options.
