I recently had the pleasure of trying Roy's Fried Chicken and let me tell you, it was a delicious experience. The chicken chunks were perfectly seasoned and fried to crispy perfection. Each bite was juicy and flavorful, making it hard to resist going back for seconds. The mashed potatoes were creamy and buttery, the perfect complement to the crispy chicken. And let's not forget about the peach cobbler with vanilla ice cream. The warm, gooey cobbler paired with the cold, creamy ice cream was a match made in dessert heaven. Overall, Roy's Fried Chicken exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be returning for more. If you're in the mood for some delicious comfort food, I highly recommend giving Roy's a try. You won't be disappointed. I loved the country decor and the barn feel plus all the positive signs and scriptures gave me all the good feels. Super clean and service was impeccable!!!

I was in Coweta to pick strawberries. Afterward, I stopped by Roy's Fried Chicken for a bite due to high recommendations. Apparently, this chicken place is popular around that area. One good thing about Roy's Fried Chicken is the quantity of their dinner entrees. The dinner box came with 3 pieces of fried chicken, 2 sides, and 2 dinner rolls, a lot of food. The mashed potato and gravy and cold slaw were great. I would like the dinner rolls to be warmer as they were cold. And the fried chicken? They were okay. To call them the best fried chicken would just be plain wrong. They were not even close to being the best fried chicken. The batter was just too thick. I felt like I was eating the batter from fried chicken bought at a supermarket, a little hard and thick. Roy's Fried Chicken is fast food, similar to Church's and Popeyes. Service is quick and the place operates like a fast food fried chicken franchise. Not sure if it has lost some values as a result, but what I had today was just slightly above average, 3.5 stars.

Update: tonight I tried the chicken fried steak at the Jenks location. It was not flavorful. Pretty bland. I can't put my finger on it but there is just something missing. We also got 4 piece boneless chunk snack and those were dry like the first time. I had high hopes for this place because I love fried chicken! Like looove it. I still want to go back and try the bone in chicken but not sure now.

The fried chicken is amazing. Very crispy outside, juicy inside, and well cooked. Rolls are delicious and deserts are also very good and small portioned which I liked after the meal. We will definitely pick this place the number one chicken restaurant! The staffs were also very friendly and everything was maintained very clean. Sauces are kept cool in a fridge.

The cheeseburger came slathered with an over abundance of mayonnaise and the burger lacked any seasoning at all. Can we say bland? The fries weren't salty and average. Now the good somewhat. I had the chicken strip basket with onion rings and they include coleslaw. The chicken strips weren't salty phenomenal. The batter was excellent and they came out magma hot. Their gravy is very simple, but very good. It also came with garlic bread which was very good. The onion rings had my favorite batter and were tasty. The only disappointment was the coleslaw. It was indescribably atrocious. I've never had coleslaw that bad. It was literally a task to get that awful taste out of my mouth. I'm sure I have PTSD from that coleslaw. The person who served our food was very nice and explained the daily specials to us. We will come back for the chicken strips and give another menu item a shot. As always, caveat emptor.

They have decent burgers and their chicken tenders were killer. Im a big fan of this place now. The service is always great and everyone is so nice. They answered all of my gluten free questions and even gave me extra info on some of their dishes that was very helpful. I ordered the GF mozzarella sticks (Yes, they have a dedicated GF fryer!) and the Home Wrecker pizza. (It's like a taco pizza.) The GF crust is a cauliflower crust and is actually pretty tasty. There's no strong aftertaste like a lot of other cauliflower crusts. The pizza was delicious. I haven't had a taco pizza in a long time. The veggies for the pizza were very fresh and come on a separate plate so they don't get soggy. Tobies was an EXCELLENT experience. Tennis balls hang from the ceiling and the floor is littered with dog toys. Dog art hangs all around. We loved it. Seat yourself and then staff is quickly with you. It was a busy night when we were there with lots of regulars. Tobie is the perfect angel when he makes the rounds. We started with a house salad. It was basically really shredded iceberg with some black olives and cheese. I would order something else next time. We then ordered the Spicy Supreme and the Crazy Lady both hand tossed. The spice on the supreme was not overpowering. I loved the Crazy Lady (balsamic glaze sauce, garlic roasted tomatoes, basil, drizzled with more balsamic)!!! Sometimes veggie pizzas like this lack the cheese. This one did not! Beer comes in a can and the wine comes in huge pours! This is a great place and I can see us doing weekend lunches here.

I have tried dozens of other establishments, but they definitely do not compare to how amazing the food was here. Excellent seasonings, hot fresh, fast and convenient. I was even very impressed with the service. The young lady behind the counter could very easily after just a minute of talking to me realize that I was a first time guest, and as I was talking to her, she began to help explain some of the food items that they had and how the combos worked and made it super easy for me to make a better informed decision. so I really appreciate that kind of help because when you will try out a new place with so many different styles and varieties of wings you really want to make sure you're getting the best. Here's what I got and a little bit about each item. I can't wait to go back and try a few more very soon. Mac and cheese - real cheese amazing flavor also amazing seasoning - highly recommend getting this Wings Lemon pepper - A very smooth, lemon flavor complimented with a bite of pepper Parmesan Great flavor great taste really bold dry rub Biscuits swirl Really something different I like that it has two flavors in it the great little dessert something light and sweet. It has a strong almost like a robust, tropical fruit flavor that is smooth not heavy. You definitely enjoy this drink. It is pretty sugary but great flavor. I'm not sure what the inside looks like or whether they offer seating since we did pickup. The staff was really friendly, and the wings were delicious. My husband mentioned that the King's Special and Hot Buffalo flavors weren't really spicy, which matched the two "spicy" icons on the menu. I personally loved the Hot Honey Lemon Pepper. The fries were pretty standard, but the mac & cheese was great, especially after I added a little Cajun seasoning at home. We saved the biscuits for dessert and they definitely hit the spot. Having reservations helped, and our table was ready upon arrival. Our server, Rebel, was the standout of the entire experience. She handled our large group single-handedly, keeping orders organized and service on point the whole time. Friendly, engaging, and attentive--she's exactly the kind of person you want taking care of your table. We started with Wings, Mozzarella Sticks, and a Giant Pretzel. The wings looked good but fell short in crispness and flavor. The Pretzel was solid, but the big surprise winner was the Mozzarella Sticks--definitely worth ordering! For my meal, I had the Chicken Club with a side salad. The sandwich was excellent, thanks to the perfectly toasted wheat berry bread that really made it shine. The side salad, however, was a miss. It looked fresh but lacked flavor, and I wish restaurants would serve salads on chilled plates to keep them crisp. Overall, Main Street Tavern is a solid choice for lunch or even after work on the patio. The food has its highs and lows, but with Rebel taking care of you, the experience is well worth it.
