We decided to eat in the parking lot as it's much safer than driving and eating. However, with the option of people watching that also was a deciding factor on why we should park and eat. There is a nice view of the city, skyline and interesting lights and various different people in the area. Would recommend the chicken sandwich combo, however, would probably recommend to request the mayonnaise on the side as it definitely was seeping out the bottom of the sandwich and the napkin was much needed. Disappointed they did not have french fries so we were not able to try them, but they substituted onion rings and the tater tots which both were good. Tater tots could've probably use some seasoning or salt however they were cooked perfect. The staff was polite and helpful. We can definitely see ourselves stopping here again.

food though the combo meals advertised in chalk outside the…read morerestaurant were interesting to me, it was the black & blue burger combo, also a b&b for you hostelers out there, that interested me most. and while the onion rings i'd got on the side were excellent and very conducive for sharing, the burger in no way paled by association, as every aspect was on point, starting with the melty cheese that was distinct from the crumbles you might have tried previously on a salad, meanwhile maintaining the textural indication of portional bounty similarly present in the mounding of blue cheese atop dishes without cooking it. further, the complementary mushroom, and additionally flavorful peppers & onions from the grill stayed together with the burger and cheese within a fairly normal size bun, a credit to the complete integrity of the ingredients in maintaining layers of flavor in tandem with the often diverging culinary measure of structural unity. and lastly, i'll share what i'd learned from asking momma if the mushroom is commonly the reason for the "black" portion of the black & blue burger, to which she responded with her belief that it comes more from the blackening seasoning on the burger patty, with mushroom being not irregular, but also not staple for the black & blue burger. so, thanks to the generous restaurant menu writers for the bonus mushroom; the flavor was not foremost to me, but i'd assert the flavor of the pepp & onion would not have shined nearly as well without it. service excellent. the front counter worker was very knowledgeable of the menu, as clear in the listing of toppings to ask if all that comes with the burger as it appears in the menu was good with me. then, after mom received her drink before we left the counter, another worker delivered the food with impressionable speed, though not in a rush, as evident in asking if i'd want ketchup with the meal. ambiance contemporary vintage is a term that comes to mind for me, influenced in at least detectable part by the kind of store north of the restaurant, though the soda and other beverage memorabilia around the interior and to a lesser extent the exterior, definitely contribute too. i'm also quite fond of the craft wood booths and ample seating afforded by the spatially economical walkup order counter.
