Floors are sticky glass door doesn't look like it's been cleaned in forever. The booth feels like you're sitting on a board. There's no cushion at all. Not impressed went twice. read more

A year or so ago I would have said definitely! However, it seems to have changed. Past 2 times? Fish mostly small pieces with no meat. Some sides were lacking, too. Not sure I will go back. read more

Wish I hadn't waited so long to come here! Love that they serve family style sides. Everything was delicious and affordable. The texture of the catfish was a little soft but it had great flavor. Only other dislike was the sticky floor. Reminded me of a really bad bar floor. We will be back though. read more

Awesome food, friendly staff. I work in the same center as the Fish Shack. I absolutely love everything about them.

Give the food 5 stars Give the¹ service and staff 5 stars *Last time we were there seemed to our party could use a bit of a makeover, maybe a visit by Chef Gordon Ramsay to freshen the place up a bit. read more

This is my second disappointment with these folks in a row. When they first opened, we were really excited because it would save us about 20 minutes driving from Muskogee to Sallisaw, where our favorite catfish place, Shads, is located. The catfish was always on point. Light flavorful and most of all crispy. My last two visits have dealt a very disappointing experience with not only the catfish but the shrimp as well. The catfish especially is just chewy. I don't know what the deal is but it's just not acceptable when you're spending $50 for lunch for two people. Sorry guys. I've given you two chances and you've let me down. From now on I drive the extra 20 minutes and I go to Chad's in Sallisaw where they have the best catfish in the country. read more

Great coconut shrimp, huge portions, great service. Dining room ceiling should be replaced. It is very old and dirty. More blinds needed on windows. Customer complaining sun too bright on eyes. read more

This was our first visit with friends, and won't be our last! Our server was Destiny, and was she AMAZING!! What a great restaurant, food was excellent, and all the goodies they bring you before you even order - AMAZING! Thank you Destiny!! You will go places in life! We all LOVED it. 10 ********** (PS - Give Destiny a raise - she is an amazing young woman and deserves it!) read more

Their fried catfish is very thin and a lot of batter. Not as good as it used to be. The tilapia was very good with lemon butter sauce and fried okra. Experience varies, sometimes better and sometimes not. read more

I had the clam dinner and my wife had catfish. The quality of food was good, and generous portions. Endless sides, thumbs up!! I really liked their tomato chutney and brown beans. Everything was good. Our waitress was very attentive and courteous. We will be back. read more

Bobby and the crew at Fish Shack consistently turn out great food. The catfish, shrimp, clams, and chicken are all really good. Choose whatever entree or combo you want, and your type of potato, then all the other sides come out family-style: slaw, pinto beans, hushpuppies, and green tomato relish. Great down-home food and friendly service. read more

This unassuming little strip mall spot holds a good ol legit catfish restaurant. We stopped in for dinner and we were quickly set up with tea and a full set up of coleslaw, beans, hush puppies, onion and green tomato relish. Ordered some catfish, shrimp and ever variation of sides from green beans, onions, okra and fries. Everything was delish! Left STUFFED and happy. read more

The Fish Shack - Inside - Seafood Near Me - Coweta, Oklahoma

My husband and I have been coming here for the last two years and the food was exceptional. However, we were there a few days ago and the food was not good at all. The fish was overcooked and the chicken fried steak had very very little meat. Mostly it was breading. because of this, we will not be going back; very disappointed! read more

I always love coming to The Fish Shack. They are so kind. The fish, fries, and hush puppies are great. I'm very picky about tarter sauce and they passed with flying colors. The only reason I'm giving 4 out of 5 starts is because I love fried okra and every time I've tried it here it has no flavor at all. read more

Our new favorite Coweta dinner spot!! We enjoyed the meal for two, and every single item was DELICIOUS!! We expected a long wait time because of how busy they always are, but to our surprise it didn't take long at all for our carry out order. We can't wait to have it again! read more

Long wait time , waited over 30 min for food ! good food , okra was not Good . Waiter was nice read more

Fish Shack Friday! The food and service is just as good at the curb as it is inside. I called in an order for two, 3 piece catfish dinners. It was delivered to my vehicle as soon as I pulled up, by a super nice young lady wearing gloves and a face mask. Because I paid by credit card I didn't have to sign anything. Just grabbed the food and I was gone. Their to-go orders come with all the same great sides as when you dine in (beans, great slaw, tangy crunchy pickled green tomatoes, hush puppies and a serving of tartar sauce.) We had the crunchy fries with our order. It was a generous pile. It was a great catfish Friday lunch at home! Now that you have taken the time to read this ....Something to think about, considering the current situation we are all dealing with! The Fish Shack's current health score is 84. That is VERY GOOD! If you look at the health scores of some restaurants, you may want to give serious thought as to if you really really want to eat at them. I am now of the opinion that if a restaurant can't even maintain an average score of 70, I may choose to not risk my life by eating there. They obviously don't care about the safety of their customers. There are far too many restaurants that have scores in the 50's. If they don't care enough to maintain a safe restaurant environment and food, for themselves and their customers..... don't patronize them. It is especially tough times right now for the small restaurants, but I hope the nasty restaurants either clean up or go out of business! Be safe! The Fish Shack is Great! I will be back! read more

Far best catfish we have eaten. Consistently good quality fish & great sides - baked potato, pinto beans, coleslaw, hush puppies, green tomato relish. All you can eat sides! Prices on catfish dinner are very reasonable. Service is prompt & good. read more

Nothing fancy just good food. There's a reason why they sometimes have a line of hungry patrons out the door.

Yasss! I love a good catfish!! I am so thankful I came to Tulsa to visit my friend because she taught me ALL about noodlin"!!! And next time I wanna try it!! For now, I'll leave that too the good ole' makers of this fish shack! First of all, free apps?? You've gotta be kidding me. Yessss all the way to unlimited access to deliciously drool-worthy pickled green tomatoes (to die for! I could not get enough), louder than normal hush puppies (great texture and bite), creamy dreamy cole slaw (omg my favorite!), and some baked good ole beans (needed some salt). This place is so amazing, they even do all you can eat!! I opted for the fried frog legs and the catfish. Man... they do some good ole' catfish right! Loved the coating, the moist-ness, the texture, the flavor...it met my expectations and it paired really well with the hush puppies they gave out and the cole slaw. I am dreaming of it now because they do it really well, and it doesn't taste heavy or greasy at all! The service was great and the atmosphere was very homey-kind of hole in the wall, kind of cozy but at-home feel. The green beans (side) was okay, definitely not worth it. But everything else was tasty, and no complaints at all! I would definitely come back, and bring everyone I know! read more

Good food. Nice and clean. Service is great. Location is out of town but worth the drive.

Great place to eat! Love the fish, the hush puppies and beans. The best place to get fish in the area with great prices!

Food was delicious, service was fast, all I could ask for. Try the catfish and coconut shrimp!

Went here for lunch today. Catfish was great. I loved the Cole slaw too. Strongly recommended. I'm from California and was looking for mild catfish. This fit the bill. Service was good and price was right. Hush puppies were very good also. read more

The food is really good and you got all you can eat beans, coleslaw and hushpuppies. The service is solid and the atmosphere is friendly

Food is good, staff is friendly! Just make sure your shoes are on tight, floor is so sticky it will pull them off your feet! Also take your shoes off before entering your home, so sticky. read more

Great catfish , hushpuppies and sweet relish. Great value and good service. Very clean

I'm sad to say that The Fish Shack was a terrible disappointment. The fish tasted like deep fried cardboard. The hush puppies and okra were overcooked. This was an amazing restaurant, it's sad that it's gone down hill. read more

Basket Bowls Basket Bowls I loved the Fish Shack. Have been twice & plan to go back on Wed. The food is perfect & the atmosphere is fun. Only complaint is it's not open on Sunday so family can come from Tulsa & go & it might need to be a little bigger. Lol. Those are both good reviews. They are fairly priced for what you get. If you've never been try to go soon. You will not be disappointed.Basket Bowls read more

The catfish and shrimp, as always, are the best around. Cole slaw above average, and the other side were great, especially the green tomato relish. My concern was the number of wait staff, including the manager, who didn't care enough about their customers to wear a mask. We won't be back until this issue is addressed. read more

Delicious and soo much more than you can even eat! Lovely staff, super clean establishment, great atmosphere. So proud to call you one of our local favorite eateries! read more

Five Stars for great catfish, tomatoe chutney, red beans and delicious hush puppies. Small dinner was more than my wife could eat! I had the large catfish dinner with a baked potato. WAY TO MUCH FOOD! All delicious! Worth the 25 mile drive from Jenks. Service: Everyone of the servers keep moving and constantly checking on you! Great spot for catfish! read more

This place is so dirty, the floor was sticky. Floors in restaurants should be mopped every day. The manager said they mopped it last week. The door into the kitchen was horrible and the workers were constantly using their hands to go through. The fish was tough. Little thin pieces that had little fish in them and over cooked. Do not recommend. read more

Always has been good food and service when I moved to the Coweta area I was glad to know this place was still in business

We love this place. Best coconut shrimp around. The sauce is the bomb for them. I could literally drink it the taste is so good. The catfish is always fried to perfection and the okra is blissful. We always have to have at least one appetizer while we eat and one to go. The hush puppies are a little more done than I like but husband likes them just as they are. We both would like the brown beans to have more flavor (cooked all day) but we don't come for the beans so that's fine. Coleslaw is good. Overall you won't be disappointed. The owner is always pleasant and makes sure we have had a great meal when we've checked out. Waitresses can vary when we've ate in but they all have been fairly attentive. read more

I came all the way from Vegas to get some catfish. 1300 miles. This is where I ended up and it tasted waaaaaay better than the catfish here. The hush puppies were a lil on the done side and for 9 people one small bowl was not enough. I think it should have at least been two medium sized basket bowls on each end of the table. Waitress could have had a liiiiil bit more personality like the manager who took the money on the way out (real nice guy and good conversation). Waitress never stuck around long enough for conversation but did keep our waters filled (pet peeve of mine). Over all it was a nice joint to visit. Would I go back absolutely. Also the restrooms are clean. The only thing I would say is appetizers should be proportionate to patron and table size. read more
