Our first and last time here. We decided to dine-in. The girl at the counter (where you order) because there is no table service here wasn't familiar with the menu. We ordered sesame chicken, sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, lo mein, egg rolls, crab Rangoon, and pot stickers. The fried potstickers were served first. There are no fountain drinks here, so it's bottled beverages. The potstickers were actually good. The sesame chicken was hot, but the sauce was unlike any that I've ever had and that's not a good thing. The lo mein was below average at best. The crab Rangoon were good. The sweet and sour sauce tasted like it was a marmalade. The chicken was hot, but the sauce was not complimentary. The rice was bland and undercooked as there were hard pieces of uncooked rice. Our main complaint was with the cleanliness of the tables. Ours smelled like mildew and we watched one employee clean off another table in which she used an obvious dirty rag. The Health Department should be made aware of their lack of proper hygiene regarding the cleanliness of the table. They also only give you plastic, cheap forks to eat with. In a sit down eating establishment, metal utensils should be provided. We can definitely mark this one off of our list as we will not be returning. read more

Small Chinese restaurant in Broken Arrow. The food is fairly good. I love how the menu is visible from outside of the restaurant on the glass window, in big prints. By the time I stepped inside, I already have an idea of what I would like. No one dined in at Oriental Garden on this particular Wednesday night. There were 2 orders ahead of me. The wait was 15 minutes or so, fairly quick. Price is fair, not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. There's a 3.5% discount with cash. Got a large wonton egg drop soup for $7. The egg drop soup was good, but the wontons were not. The flour wraps were too thick, making the wontons tasted floury. One of the worst wontons I've had. The Hunan triple delight was better and had good amount of shrimps, chicken, beef, and vegetables. The black bean sauce tasted really good. Is it the best Chinese place in Broken Arrow? Probably not. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. It was fairly cheap and certain food tasted good. The wontons may not be great but that soup was only $7. read more

Food was decent. The lady taking my order was on her phone when I walked in she was young which is fine. But she was not willing to give me my simple request which was 2 different sauces mixed together. So then I I asked for one sauce on the side. And she said she was not sure if they could do that didn't bother to ask anyone. The place was very clean. The menu was a decent size. 2 stars for bad service. read more

It does smell a little strange when you walk in the door. I thought it was just me, until I found several other reviewers on Google that made the same observation and commented. After being in the restaurant for a few minutes I really think it is from the spices they use and I am just not familiar with that particular aroma. It is truly a little hole in the wall, take out only restaurant in a small isolated business strip center, hidden in plain sight between Kenosha St. and the Walmart. You have to be looking for it to know it is there. The majority of the restaurant's reviews on the various foodie review sites are 5 stars. It seemed worth a try to me. So, we went for the C7. Orange Chicken, the C5. Chicken with Cashew with the pork egg roll side on both, and added an order of Chicken on A Stick. Both chicken dishes had generous amounts of chicken. The orange chicken had a prominent orange flavor and the cashew chicken was accompanied with plenty of diced vegetables. The Chicken on the stick was tasty; it and the orange chicken had an unfamiliar background flavor. My best guess is Chinese Five Spice. That's probably what I smelled when I entered the restaurant. All good, but the pork egg roll was the big winner. I ordered on line and did not notice at the time that the restaurant adds a $1 convivence fee...what ever that is? I guess it is to cover the cost of the packaging for the order? Not a real big issue, just be aware. I need to try several other items before I can develop a stronger opinion of this place. Did dinner tonight from here via DoorDash. It arrived quickly and hot. But that is the best thing I can say about our meal. I had Sesame chicken & it was so dry! If there had been sauce on it at one time, that was hours ago. The fried rice lacked flavor and I think I saw one carrot cube & one pea. My husband's PadThai just wasn't very good. read more

We have been wanting a place like this to open in BA since we moved here 8 years ago! A local non-chain Chinese food restaurant. This place is it! We just tried it today, grabbed a to-go order on a cold afternoon. The Crab Rangoons were delicious! They were nicely filled, crunchy and had a nice flavor and dipping sauce. The egg drop soup was tasty and hot, perfect for a cold day. I loved the veggie lo neon noodles. The noodle texture was soft and pillowy and the flavor was just right. The honey chicken was sweet and tasty as well. We enjoyed everything we tried, and we'll be back. I recommend you give this place a try as well! read more

Wow. When you live in a town where Panda Express gets 4-and-a-half stars, it makes you start wondering about your neighbors. I can guarantee Oriental Garden has EARNED all of the praise and accolades it has received. We were thirsty for some quality Asian cuisine and finally wanted to try something new. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and broccoli beef. The beef was the most tender I have ever had in this dish. It seemed like it had been marinating for days! Massive fresh, crisp broccoli paired well with a just-right brown sauce. Yum! Then there was the sweet and sour chicken. White meat chicken cut into just the right size. The chicken was moist and tender, and the breading was not overly sweet. As has been said here before, the portions are great. We ordered the large and had almost three servings from each dish. We may go down to the combo size next time. That was our delivery experience. I can only imagine how good Oriental Garden is as an eat-in experience. Ordered ramen here recently because the other ramen shops are closed due to the Covid-19. We were so desperate for ramen that we gave this place a shot. Obviously it's not dedicated to ramen, but hey, well never know if we don't try. I ordered the pork belly ramen and my husband ordered the chicken ramen. I am so pleased to find a delicious Chinese restaurant in the outskirts of BA. Do not let the spare interior discourage you. The Mongolian beef, fried rice, General Tso chicken, and steamed dumplings we delicious. Made we fresh plump vegetables, quality beef and chicken and obviously attention to subtle wonderful seasonings I wish the interior was more welcoming to dine in customers as it was too cold to eat there so we took it to go. read more

This place is really good. The chicken in the noodle soup was really clean, the noodles were homemade, and the broth was rich. The flavor was great on the egg drop and wonton soup as well. The pork fried rice was a little light on pork, but otherwise the flavor was really good. Definitely somewhere I will come back to when craving Chinese. read more

The crab ragoons were great! We went late in the evening and the service was good. It was quiet. It is a small restaurant.

We were told 30 minutes for our pickup order however it was an hour later when I left with my order. This was after I sat in the hot inside eating area (over 82 degrees and no real ventilation) and numerous customers waiting that couldn't be appropriately spaced due to limited space. Two tables had people seated eating with a child that was very loud. Nobody wore a mask customers or employees beyond myself except one other gentlemen who decided he would rather go back outside in the even hotter outside than stand in the enclosed area. I normally would not complain too Much about having to wait longer however they kept doing smaller orders and ignoring our larger order. I wouldn't have known this but I could see the tickets posted along the wall and could see our ticket number and could see the numbers being worked out of order and ours just sitting there and could see the size of ours compared to others. There was a gentleman that actually was 2 orders later than ours but had gotten there before me that had been waiting longer than I had and he said he had gotten text by mistake saying his was ready when it wasn't. He was there for at least 15-20 minutes of the 40 minutes I was there before he got his food before me and had he not inquired about his food a couple times he probably wouldn't have gotten before me. The standard reply seemed to be "will be a couple minutes" when you arrived and said your name and paid no matter where you are in the chain. After numerous orders went around me and 3 tickets including mine were left and another person came in for there single order and immediately got it to leave I had enough and took my mask off and went off about the ticket situation and the girl behind the desk seemed to think it funny. She seemed to think it was interesting that I could see the ticket numbers and realized that mine had been lower than others going out and really didn't care one way or the other. The customer service here has gone down and had this not been my granddaughters choice I would have requested a refund and left long into the wait. The food was decent and granddaughter and grandson did enjoy it so the wait I guess was worth it for them but we WILL NOT ago back to this place as it needs to work on customer service. They could have offered a drink or anything to compensate the wait. read more

New to us place. Wanted Chinese and China Garden closed on Monday. Looks new, self serve ordering either on menu posted on windows or brochure from counter. Girl behind counter was nice. Cooked to order, was quick. Had pepper beef and onion combo ( came with fried rice and pork egg roll ), house special fried rice and fried dumplings. All was good but not very flavorful. We were very impressed with our meals! Large servings and so delicious. We got the sesame chicken, general tao's chicken, fried gen. Tao's tofu and egg rolls. Everything was excellent! We've eaten here before and the food is fairly good. We always like to try something different when we go again. The first time we went we got Moo Goo Gai Pan and General Tso's chicken and it was pretty good. This time we got chicken chow mein and I have never seen chow mein cooked like this. It's 98% rice noodles with about 5 tiny strips of chicken, 2 tiny pieces of napa cabbage, 2 slivers of green onion, and 5 tiny carrot strips. Seriously, we counted them. All this mixed in with about 2 cups of rice noodles. It was terrible and we ended up throwing it away. We will eat there again, just not very often because we like the moo goo and it will be some time before we try it again. However, they really need to learn how to cook traditional chow mein. This was not chow mein but flavored rice noodles. And not very good flavor. They do have good eggrolls. read more
