Mostly takeout, but we choose to dine in. My orange chicken was great. Meat was tender and fresh, and rice was perfect. My husband and I shared main dishes so I can add the sweet and sour was also perfect. I just wish that onions, carrots, pineapple, and green pepper were still part of sweet-n-sour, but everywhere seems to leave them off now. We were the only customers dining in altho several tables still had dishes so others had dined in also. Quiet and peaceful was exactly what we needed after a long day of driving. Our office regularly drives from Pine & Peoria to pickup lunch from China OK. I live in Sand Springs so I go about twice a month. The food is prepared when ordered so it is always fresh and hot. This is not fast food Chinese. Orders are always correct. They are small, family owned and prepare the best Chinese food in the area. read more

I wanted to give a good review since the pandemic and places are hurting, and I've seen mixed reviews on this place. Let me start off by saying I hate giving bad or even mediocre reviews. If you look at my history there aren't many of them compared to my four and five star reviews. I wanted to believe the older reviews that this place is saved due to its curry, so I went to get some with mom in hopes of a decent meal... all I got was a quick cook of basically soup- it was a hot mess. Actually, the heat was about all I enjoyed out of the meal. The veggies seemed fairly fresh, and the friend rice was actually very good. Reminded me of one of my favorite spots in Saint Louis, but what I got as a main was a soup, not curry. It was difficult to find chicken over the veggies, and I could've poured the "curry sauce" out like water almost. I'd like to give this place a three start review at least, but the lady wasn't polite, and didn't seem to appreciate the more than 20% tip for curbside. This place is your typical red neck wannabe Asian food, and the people cooking seem to not be very proud of their heritage. Very disappointing. read more

Food is always made fresh to order and he is a great chef! The lady who works the dinner room is always smiling and greets you when you walk in. This is the only place I go to in Tulsa when I want really good Chinese food. The place is small and homey. I am actually going back there again tonight for dinner. Order the combo and a side of extra wantones. They are incredible. This place never disappoints. read more

I come to this restaurant about every two or three months. Food and service is always great. I usually get the Mongolian beef however today when I got it ( August 12) there were no vegetables other than onions. It is usually much better. I will chalk that up to a bad day. read more

First the food is almost always good. However, the service continues to get worse. We are not ones to complain, BUT, the lady that runs the front has been very hateful the last few times we have gone in. Today, she made us come to the counter to order and pay before we received our food. Then called us up to get our drinks from the counter. Once our food was ready, she sat it on the counter and said, "your food is ready" and walked off. We had to get up from the table and go up to the counter to retrieve our food. Ordered this on accident instead of Chinese express. It was 1 minute from my house so I had high hopes. Got the general Tso chicken, side of noodles and dumplings. So being they charge 2.50 to switch the meal from fried rice to noodles. But you can just order a side of noodles for 3.00 so that didn't make any sense so I got both. Showed up at 15 mins when it was supposed to be ready in 20. Rice was cold af chicken was soggy af def reheated potstickers were only okay thing but it's hard to mess that up. Restaurant was extremely extremely dirty maybe one clean table out of 10+ at 8:00 pm on a Friday night. Cashier wasn't rude she was ok. Read another review about something about chemicals, both noodles and chicken has a strong chemical smell I'm thinking they def got sprayed with a cleaner. Not eating. Gimme my tip back please.... Only been here once before and it was good. Today was one of those days, I wanted something different than all my usual haunts. I did cruise by a couple of my usual favorites but just couldn't work up enough enthusiasm to stop. I had an errand to run on the south side of the river and immediately thought about China OK. Sure enough there was only one car in the parking lot (probably the owners. There were no other customers when I walked in the door at 12:10. Immediately greeted, given a menu and offered my choice of seats. She took my drink order (unsweet tea) and brought it out quickly. There are specials posted by the counter but I decided on the Cashew Chicken Combo {$6.89} which includes and egg roll and Rangoon wonton. It was plenty of food and excellent. You can get the small Cashew Chicken for $5.79 which I think is a very good deal. The hostess/waitress was very friendly and checked on me a couple of times. Another couple came in while I was there and they were evidently regulars because they were greeted by name. This place is tucked away in a little strip shopping location pretty close to the Crescent Cafe, but it is well worth finding. It is very clean inside and I'm glad they're there. read more

Looks a little sketchy from the outside and definitely falls squarely into the "cheap Chinese" category, but is, in fact, awesome. Really delicious food. We ordered 4 appetizers for our party of 4. The beef cho-cho was the biggest hit, with the cream cheese wontons and steamed dumplings coming in next, far ahead of the mini egg rolls. Pretty sure the mini egg rolls came from Sam's. No worries! For entrees we had the special Double Curry, pronounced "Delicious and delightful!" by my son, the curry connoisseur. It featured chicken, beef, shrimp, and vegetables in a mild curry sauce. My daughter ordered her favorite, Bourbon Chicken, and was not disappointed, My Sesame Chicken, ordered spicy, was delicious. Fresh and spicy, the regular size was a very large helping. The only wrong note was the special Volcano Chicken that my husband ordered, he and my son noted that it had a bitter aftertaste that wasn't exactly awful, but wasn't exactly awesome, either. All entrees are served with brown rice, which was a nice change. The service? Be prepared to be patient. I got the impression that there was one person in the back, cooking everything, and I know there was only one woman up front taking orders. We were in no hurry and enjoying the experience so it was not an issue to us that the food delivery was very slow and came out in pieces. If we're in a hurry, we'll order takeout in advance. The only rice available was re-fried and tasted like it. I got the crab rangoon, a Sobe drink and sweet & sour pork. It was not a bargain at $9.53. The crab rangoon was a 4.7 out of 10. The sauce that came with the crab rangoon was bitter. The sweet and sour pork didn't merit more than a couple of bites. I'm all for supporting neighborhood restaurants, but the restaurants need to do their part. read more

Went in just after the lunch rush. Almost every table was dirty. My shoes stuck to the floor it was a sticky mess. I understand there was only one lady to take care of it, but come on. I stayed and ordered the orange chicken with steamed rice. The orange sauce tasted like it came out of a can and not very good. The chicken had tough fibers running through it that you couldn't swallow. Over Cooked? Needless to say I won't be returning anytime soon. read more

I didn't like the food here. It was edible but not tasty. Rice was steamed brown rice not fried. Mongolian chicken was more gravy like.

The food itself was really, really good, but the terrible customer service I got there was enough to deter me from going back there ever again. Don't even think about getting a refill, or a drink at all for that matter. I had to go up to the counter and get her attention myself to get a drink. There were 7 people total in the restaurant, but you would think that there was 70 by the way their server tried to avoid helping people. She also couldn't understand a word of English. Pork Lo Mein portion was huge, flavorful, and very spicy - just like I asked for. Pot stickers were full of flavor and the sauce was a little sweet which compliment the pot stickers perfectly. The curried salt shrimp were crunchy, full of flavor, and plentiful. Cooked in a yellow curry sauce they were incredibly delicious and I couldn't stop eating them. The egg rolls were large and full of meat - good and crunchy. I was quite impressed by this place and the "Mom & Pop" couple who ran it. They were quite eager to make sure my meal was made exactly as I wanted it. I'll be coming back. read more

I LOVE Chinese and this food tastes worse than a cheap microwaveable Chinese dish you might find at a discount grocery store. The restaurant was filthy and the waitstaff was not welcoming at all. It may have been a bad day for them but I don't think it is. I have heard the same thing from other people after I told them of my visit. Haven't even eaten the food yet. Customer service is TERRIBLE! Asked for a menu, lady pointed to a stack of take out menus on a table. Didn't speak 5 words...I'm counting $15.60 as one word. When my take out was ready she grunted. I asked for soy sauce & hot mustard... first she pointed at the sack then "oh". She handed me the container of mustard. Too much trouble to put it in the sack. Egg foo young is great! Restaurant great, not crappy Chinese take out great. The gravy wasn't the traditional creamy gravy, but instead more of a sweet soy sauce gravy. Still good. It has a mix of meats in it. Also had garlic chicken which was supposed to be spicy but wasn't. I'd probably explore other chicken dishes next time, but if you want actual spice I'd probably just say "make it hot." Medium is not spicy at all. Give the egg rolls a pass. read more
