Not only did she keep it real about her menu favorites, but she was also funny and sweet. She helped me navigate the menu and made some great recommendations. I ended up ordering a cup of Louisiana Shrimp Gumbo along with the Fried Catfish and Shrimp plate, which came with red beans and rice and coleslaw. Everything was tasty. Just a heads-up, though: the gumbo has a little kick to it. The entire meal came to around $18, which felt like a steal.
