    The peach pizzaaa
    Roxanne H.

It's late and I've decided on a cheat day from my usual chicken and hummus diet. I can picture myself holding a slice of pie the right way and grease running down my face to my chest, and the steam fogging up my glasses. I see it from afar the hidden lil pizza truck and I park and order this delicious pie with peaches who would have thought peaches on pizza? Genius. The creator of this pie made my panties drop or atleast had me sitting in my car late at night in a bra chowing down like no-one's damn business.

We tried a couple of pies at Heirloom's recent pop-up shop event. SOOOO good. They've got the wood fired thing down pat. We tried two pizzas and sorry but I don't know the names because I didn't go outside to order. :) One was spicy with red sauce, jalapenos, pepperoni and a drizzle of honey. The other one was ricotta, pepperoni and basil. Both were delicious. I definitely would seek them out (or look for them to be back at Heirloom!

    Burrata special and Hot Boi

We really liked Dante's Woodfire! The crust was *chefs kiss*. My husband got the Hot Boi and I got the Burrata special they had! As a food truck, they did well at having a good atmosphere and the small space around the truck was well decorated and had everything we needed. It is pretty expensive for a personal pizza ($15 for a meatless pizza seemed a bit much) but we thought the crust was worth it (: My Burrata pizza was a bit hard to eat, as you had to cut the Burrata and spread it out over the pizza which made everything kinda soggy and cold, but I figured that would be the case when ordering it, and the flavor was good! My husband's Hot Boi was really good and we would definitely recommend that one

Love at first bite. House Red Sauce, pepperoni, mozzarella, fresh dill, chili infused honey, ricotta & jalapeño. The infused honey stole the show from the jump. Other elements being involved just made the pizza all-around great. Woodfire will always be my favorite type of pizza & Dante's continues to remind me why. The wait wasn't long. Nice size personal person that's full of mozzarella, ricotta, jalapeños & pepperoni, sometimes the pepperoni was hidden under the cheese. There are two other choices of pepper if you wanna kick it up a notch in the heat department. There are usually two specials to choose from while also choosing cheese & pepperoni if you're trying to keep it simple. I've tried to get a pizza before, either they were super busy or I wait too late. I finally caught them while only one order was before me, well worth it.

Favorite was the Tulsa King and Fughettaboutit! Their drinks were good too, we got the limoncello mojito, Italian Paloma and Italian mule all very good drinks. The pizza crust was perfect, not too thin, not too thick. They also offer orders to go for pick up. No deliveries though. Probably one of our new favorite pizza shop in town!

Being 6 slices, I must've been super hungry because I ran right through it. Again, so much veggie, I really enjoyed the red pepper (had a subtle sweetness) & mushroom. I enjoyed the way I open the pizza box & the pizza is just about completely covered in arugula to the point you can only see the crust. Very filling & has me curious about the other vegan friendly pizzas, like the Wise Guy, which has grilled cauliflower. I placed an order over the phone (it was NFL Sunday). The individual who took my order over the phone was super nice & just as nice when I came to pick up my order. I ordered closely after they opened, which was a good time because when I'm in the area, I usually see a good number of people inside. I'll be back, way too many pizzas to choose from.

Appetizer Lemon Pesto Shrimp Very great combination between the richness of the pesto and tangy goat cheese, it complements the shrimp very well. It also just a great dip for the pizza points. Only down side is, since it is a super rich flavor, it makes you want a different taste after a while. I recommend eating half before and then the rest after or during your main. 8/10 Main Margherita Bohemian What can I say, the sweetness of the grape tomatoes and sauce goes perfect with the mozzarella and basil. Crust was great, personally would have requested a little more well done if I went again, but that didn't take anything from the experience! 9.25/10 Dessert When I say Jayni did an amazing job, I mean she did great. She offered the tiramisu and although it wouldn't have took much, convinced us for a slice. No complaint there, delicious. 9/10 Perfect spot for a date or just a mid work lunch. Would recommend!

It was spacious and clean, with pretty throw pillows and even some blankets if you got chilled. The server was nice. If you are looking for a unique pizza place, this is it. We ordered the funghi pizza and added sausage. It was packed full a mushrooms and the flavor was amazing. It had a mild red sauce and some kind of delicious garlic oil. If you like mushrooms, you cannot pass this one up. We also ordered the cacio e pepe pasta. You could tell instantly that it was real, homemade pasta. It had a beautiful, creamy sauce. I liked it and my husband loved it. We are already talking about going back on a nice evening when the patio lights are on and having a cocktail and trying another pizza and pasta. I like that you can either order by…read morethe slice or get a whole pizza, so it's pretty convenient depending on how hungry you are. I went with a slice, and it was straight-up that classic NYC-style pizza. Big, thin slice that you can actually fold, with a crust that had just the right amount of crisp on the outside but still soft and chewy. It wasn't floppy or soggy either, which I appreciate. The sauce had a nice, slightly sweet tomato flavor, and the cheese was melted perfectly stretchy and not overly greasy. The toppings were solid too. It had a good mix on there meats and veggiesand they didn't go overboard, so every bite felt balanced instead of overloaded. You could actually taste everything instead of it just blending into one thing. The place itself was clean, which always matters, and they had two different seating areas so you've got options if you want to sit and eat instead of just grabbing it to go. The service was great as well. Overall, it was a really good slice. Nothing crazy fancy, just a legit, well-made NYC-style supreme done right. Definitely a spot I'd go back to.
