MUCH better options out there, including food court offerings. I've had my fair share of ramen to differentiate between good and mediocre and unfortunately this falls into the latter category. Our table wasn't cleaned properly and I had to pick a hair off of it. The ramen was okay, nothing memorable. The zangi was hot and delicious however the beef gyudon fell short on flavour. 1 ramen, 1 beef gyudon and 1 zangi chicken came up to $40. The service was quick and friendly. Overall, I don't see myself returning.

I recently tried this ramen, and it was quite satisfying. I ordered the spicy tan tan and my wife ordered the tonkatsu black. Both broth was rich in flavor which made every sip enjoyable. The noodles were cooked perfectly--not too soft, with just the right amount of chew. I appreciated the freshness of the toppings, especially the tender pork and perfectly cooked egg, which added layers of texture and to the quality of the bowl. What kept it from being a full 5 stars was that the broth, while flavorful, was a bit too salty for my taste. I also think the portion size could have been a little more generous for the price. Overall, though, this ramen hit the spot and is definitely worth trying if you're a fan of bold, hearty flavors. I'll definitely be back for more! The service was also very quick and friendly!

This is our second time dining in at Sansotei. Quality and quantity remained consistent, and service was just as good as our previous visit. We arrived on a Monday at about noon and was promptly seated. The restaurant was about half full when we arrived but filled up quickly after we were seated. We ordered the following: 1 X Shoyu 2 X Tonkotsu Black This is one of the better ramen places in Mississauga, and we will definitely return.

Broth was very flavourful and noodles were great. Went on a weekday and wasn't too busy and service was good

This location has been my most visited place out of all of them. The broth is creamy and savoury, chashu was juicy, and the portion is very filling. Love the atmosphere here. It's like I got trabssported back to when I was in Japan. Service is epic and fast, I GOT MY ORDER IN LESS THAN 10 MINUTES!!! The servers are nice and they have ACTUAL SPEAKING JAPANESE SERVER (got to practice my Japanese with them) and they were fun and friendly! You should definitely give this place a try!

Fried chicken - always great!

Love that Mississauga has a Sansotei location. Since their opening, they've always been a busy spot. Located by an exterior door, it's easy to get directly to the restaurant. However it also means their dining room gets awfully drafty every time people enter and leave. It can be quite frustrating, especially if you're seated near the door. This has always been an issue here. And it could be rectified by adding a curtain or another divider - which is a typical things seen as small restaurants that have this problem. Hope they'll fix. Other than that negative, everything else is great. The quality of food is on par with their Toronto location: fantastic ramen broths, noodles, and sides! Yesterday on a cold winter day, I visited for a hot bowl of body-warming ramen. I tried the Tomato Ramen for the first time (usually I go for the regular Tonkatsu) and it was REALLY GREAT. Great balance of ingredients and the tomato broth didn't feel too acidic. My side of fried chicken karaage was fried up nice and crispy while the interior was juicy. Topped with fresh lemon juice - it hit the spot. My friend really enjoyed the new Tonkatsu+ too. Will be back again for sure!

Surprised to see this at Square One, but also because I haven't been in Peel region since covid. It was packed around 1pm on a Saturday and because the tables were close to each other, we decided to come back later. We quickly got a seat around 2pm and we felt more comfortable. We got the Tonkotsu Black and Tomato ramen. I was surprised to see the portion bigger than other locations (maybe it was the bowl?). The tomato soup was surprisingly rich and good. Tonkotsu was also good but I did prefer the tomato. They don't accept AMEX.

This is my all time fav ramen place. Sorry the pics could be a lot prettier but I got hungry and started eating then realized I forgot to take pictures! The gyoza which is your pan fried pork dumplings are my fav appetizer with a light sweet soya sauce. We also tried the slow cook spicy wings. It was fall of the bone in a spicy soya sauce, it's sooo good! We got the tonkatsu black and miso black ramen with thick noodles. Black means black garlic oil which gives the broth so much flavour. Both came with marinated eggs. The miso black came with shataki mini mushrooms. so tasty. This is my fav ramen chain, highly recommended!

I got the black garlic tonkatsu ramen and it was quite delicious. The broth was flavourful, there was a good amount of meat, and the noodles were nice and bouncy. The egg was quite perfect as well. I would have liked for stronger or more of the garlic oil. We had to flag them down a while to order and for utensils as well but overall a great eating experience.

Our experience at Sansotei Ramen mid-November was a little hit and miss. Came on a Sunday about one hour from closing and they placed us on the waitlist and squeaked us in right before the kitchen closed for the night. We were hungry by then so we ordered the gyoza and zangi to start. The gyoza looked pan fried but was not crispy enough on the bottom and was really oily. Also the zangi was uneven in the seasoning. My piece was super salty while my friend said hers was bland. Apps were a miss. The main meal was a win though! I had the Tonkptsu Black, which had chashu, black fungus, egg, green onion, garlic oil and your choice of thick or thin noodles. I went with the thick noodles as I like my noodles more aldente and it came perfectly. I loved the deep flavored broth , the deliciously chewy noodles and that it came with eggs included. Main meal were a hit! During our first couple bites of noodles, the kitchen was closing so we quickly ordered mango cheesecake to finish. We were full by the time we finished our ramen bowls, so it may have been a good thing we ordered while still hungry or we would have missed out on the dessert! The mango cheesecake is light but you can still taste the bring mango flavors. Desserts were a hit! One miss and two hits equals a good, so four stars it is!

Ramen is very delicious and keeps the traditional Hakata flavour! I recently travelled in Hakata, Japan. The flavor of this restaurant is proven! Awesome

Tonkotsu black and zangi chicken

After spending some time finding it the mall, I was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance of this location. The staff is wonderful and the music and colours of the restaurant make it so that you feel comfortable in a modern decor. They do their best to acclimate as many people as possible with their seating arrangements for their limited space. I got the Tonkotsu Black ramen with thick noodles. noodles cooked perfectly nice and andante And the rich flavours of the garlic oil is amazing. i also got the zangi fried chicken. Though juicy and plentiful, I find it lacking in taste. Overall this is a must try and can confidently compete with other ramen favourites like ramen Isshin midori and Kamen.

First of all you advertise close at 8pm but really you close at 7. When we walked in they said we close in 15 minutes no guarantee??? They are closing the kitchen. Weird. Cute sign on the door that has everything that they are out of. Door locked at 6:50 doesn't mean you serve until 7, it means please don't come in and order. Tonkatsu Ramen was delicious. The chicken was ok. As a business how can you make guests feel welcomed?

We ordered the laksa and Hainanese chicken. The laksa was quite coconutty and had a nice flavor to it. There was a bit of toppings to it, but the portion was overall small. The Hainanese chicken had a lot of chicken, but was served on plain rice. Service was oddly slow, even when there were only two tables there. but overall, it was worth trying.

The service is a tad slow, considering we were the only customer at the time. However, the staff were very nice and friendly. I got the Hainanese chicken. The portion is very generous and we got two big pieces of chicken. The chicken was very tender and my daughter liked it. The scallion sauce is also pretty close to what I would have back home. Unfortunately the rice was just plain normal rice with scallions. I was expecting the authentic Hainanese rice to pair with my chicken. My husband got the meat lover laksa. He said it was very flavourful which is a surprise. Most laksa in Canada is quite mild compared to what we would have back in SE Asia. He did really enjoy his meal. The toppings were also quite generous.

We ordered the vegetarian tantanmen and truffle ramen. Both broths were incredibly hearty and rich, and the noodles had a nice chewy bounce to it. The tantanmen is originally served cold but they were able to make a warm version for me on a cold fall day. I would say the ramen is almost perfect. Im used to piping hot ramen and I felt like ramen remix specifically served them room temperature. Nonetheless, very tasty and I would come back. I will have to request for less spicy tantanmen though - definitely had a good kick to it.

The menu leans more creative and slightly fusion-inspired rather than strictly traditional Japanese ramen. I tried one of their signature bowls, and the broth stood out right away--clean, layered, and a bit more refined compared to the heavier styles you usually see. There's a subtle balance of flavors that keeps it interesting without feeling overwhelming. The toppings were thoughtfully done, especially the seafood elements, which added a nice freshness. The noodles had a good texture overall, though I've seen mixed opinions on consistency depending on timing. The space itself is modern and cozy, with a relaxed vibe that works well for both casual dining and small groups. That said, this might not be the place if you're expecting a very traditional ramen experience. It leans more toward a creative, almost "elevated comfort food" style, which I personally enjoyed, but I can see how it might not be for everyone. Overall, it's a unique take on ramen with a lot of attention to detail. Not your typical bowl, but definitely worth trying if you're open to something a little different.
