Kenzo is still a solid place for Ramen. Their ramen base is always good, and their freshly made noodles are always consistent and delicious. They do get busy especially weekend nights. We last ate here on a Saturday night and had to wait about 30 minutes. This time I ordered the Black Garlic Tonkotsu with medium spice. After trying this, I realized that ramen doesn't have to be spicy and interferes with the dept of flavour of the soup base. We also ordered the gyoza which is also always consistently good.

Yeah this is the spot for ramen. If you ever had any doubt that this place wouldn't satisfy your craving let me assure you now that this place has it all. I always get the seafood kamen ramen and the presentation is always amazing. The shrimps are huge and they don't really skimp out on the clams and scallops. Service is always incredibly fast as well and I never have an issue waiting on my food (no matter how hungry I am). The place is pretty cozy and can be a tight fit but to be honest it's worth it.

Came here for the Ramen, left here making friends! They have an iPad at the front to sign up your name and wait list. It's a very popular and high traffic location so it helps so you can wait in your car or outside. Smaller groups tend to get seated MUCH quicker due to it being a smaller location. The staff here are always fast! Often, I find the water is already on the table before I have even sat down (talk about FAST SERVICE). Despite this, they in no way at all make you feel rushed. They have MANY vegetarian options available as well as allowing you to make substitutions to make non veg items veg! They were playing anime on the tvs! This time was Naruto (GREAT CHOICE). There's something about watching Naruto while having great ramen that hits differently. My fave ramen spot in all of Mississauga

4/5 Food: I got the Sapporo Miso Kamen, but replaced the ground pork for toasted pork. Personally, there were too many toppings and I was left with more bean sprouts/veg than noodles by the end of the meal. However, the broth was delicious, and the pork was so flavourful and tender. Took home the leftover broth because of how much I enjoyed it (+ the portion size is quite large). Not too salty, miso flavour not overpowering, blends nicely with the roasted pork - noodles aren't overcooked. Service: Took about 15 mins to wave down a waiter when we needed help with the ipad ordering menu, then another 15 to get our food, but we did come during dinner so it was busier. Staff are nice and considerate though! Ambiance: Bustling and open kitchen concept. A bit loud when busy. Perhaps not ideal for an intimate date night but it's perfect for getting a casual (delicious) meal.

We've been to Kamen Ramen twice now; after the amazingly delicious ramen the first time, we knew we had to go back! The first time, we had ordered one of the Volcano ramen. It was spicy but savory, with a smoky flavor to the broth. On our second trip, we had the black garlic. It lacked the smokiness and the broth could have been spicier, but the variety of ingredients was amazing. The black mushroom was so good! The restaurant is a little on the small side, so expect a wait. The check-in system is easy though and once you're seated, it's a cozy atmosphere perfect for the dining experience. The staff are all friendly and check on you often. I would very much recommend stopping in and giving it a try if you're in the Mississauga area

I believe Kamen Ramen has been around Mississauga for a bit of time, and the location is quite close to Square One, so it is ideal to go shop around after a good bowl of ramen. We visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch, and the parking lot was already quite full. We were greeted by lots of smiles from waiter and waitresses so it was a welcoming sight. Because it was our first time dining at Kamen Ramen, we took quite a bit of time to study the menu and see what offered to decide what we wanted. From the moment we sat down to when we actually ready to place our order (in the span of 15 mins), different waiter and waitress already came by 3 TIMES to ask whether we were ready to order. Eventually, we settled on Fiery Seafood ramen, Black Garlic Tonkotsu ramen, and chicken karaage, and here's what we thought of them: - Fiery Seafood ramen: very similar to Korean jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle), with decent amount of seafood in the noodle. The soup was rich in texture and has a great amount of kick at the "mild" spice level (you can customize the spice level from 0 to max). It came with "thin" noodles for those who wanted to know. - Black Garlic Tonkotsu ramen: rich and creamy soup with a milder black garlic oil. It was a little salty to my liking but nevertheless, the flavour was still strong. The soft boiled egg was slightly over-cooked but I still enjoyed it as it has a strong sweetness to its marinating process. - Chicken karaage: for the price of $14, it's a bit expensive compared to most ramen shop for a plate of karaage. However, they offered a bit more than just tender chicken pieces... they have chicken skins included!! The chicken, unfortunately, was not as juicy but still tender. The sauce it came with, was a lemony aioli rather than mayonnaise so it was a little refreshing to the palate.

Good food and quick service. The portions were good and the broths flavorful. Place can get packed very quickly. We got there right around noon and lucked out before the wave on Labor Day.

Tried the Miso Ramen and it was really good! Everything balanced well! Also had the fried gyoza which wasn't bad. The ramen was also reasonably priced as well. Ambiance was nice and staff were friendly. It did become a little crowded, so go when it opens!

I've constantly heard that this restaurant is the best ramen in Mississauga. I was already a believer because theres sometimes a 45-1hr wait in this place. Still, I had to see for myself. I got the shoyu ramen. Immediately I could tell how much more flavourful this broth was. Not too salty or overbearing. The beef was very tender as well. Though, I did think it was weird having only half an egg. Everywhere I've been gives a full egg. I didn't try the ramen my partner had because I have 0 spice tolerance so I can't comment on that. The service was quick and efficient. I really appreciated the spied considering that we were both starving!

I'm craving ramen though yes there are bunch back home, nothing that beat this place. It's a really small place. It probably only fit 12 tables. Always packed. We came in all different times and always had to wait. Though today probably the longest wait about 35 minutes. When you come in, you put your name on the tablet and you can have them text you when your table ready. Or you can wait in very small area with few seats. You can see your name up in the screen. You ordered thru the tablet that they bring you. This is new to us. We opt to ordered spicy volcano chashu with level 2 spicy. We also add extra noodles for $2.50. That was good for us to split. Food and green tea comes out to $22 ish Canadian. Better price than back home to compare the quality and quantity. It probably good thing that this is not close by because I'd be going all the time... we also decided to bring 1 to go, a roasted garlic spicy miso. If you love ramen gotta try this place!

Promo - $1 matcha ice cream

Came here without any reservations for dinner on a Saturday evening but got seated right away. The staff was really friendly. Since the restaurant wasn't busy, she said we could choose any table, and she cleaned it off nicely for us. We got their ramen and karaage dish. I really like the karaage, it was crispy and the chicken was tender. It also came with aioli sauce and lemon. Their ramen wasn't too bad either, I added chili oil and spice to give the broth more flavor. The dish was definitely a big portion, but I was sharing with someone so 1 order was good to feed the both of us. Since we ordered the ramen and appetizer, we qualified for the $1 matcha ice cream. This I definitely didn't like. When they served it, the matcha was not the vibrant green color you see in the flyer. It didn't taste like matcha at all and was really icy in texture. Good thing we only spent $1 on it, otherwise I would've been even more disappointed. Overall, not a bad ramen spot around the area.

The got an electronic queuing system. Just key in your name and number. You will get an SMS when your table is ready.

A pretty typical ramen place. Good noodle texture. The popcorn chicken was crunchy. Everything tasted alright. Problem is that it has a lot of hype, which sets a high bar before visiting this eatery. Honestly, I cannot find any obvious point of difference compared to other ramen stores. Perhaps the competition is not that intense in Mississauga compared to GTA or Markham/ Richmond Hill and people find this a very good ramen store... Honestly, it wasn't special at all. Nothing really to comment about.

Unfortunately the rice was just plain normal rice with scallions. I was expecting the authentic Hainanese rice to pair with my chicken. My husband got the meat lover laksa. He said it was very flavourful which is a surprise. Most laksa in Canada is quite mild compared to what we would have back in SE Asia. He did really enjoy his meal. The toppings were also quite generous.

The menu leans more creative and slightly fusion-inspired rather than strictly traditional Japanese ramen. I tried one of their signature bowls, and the broth stood out right away--clean, layered, and a bit more refined compared to the heavier styles you usually see. There's a subtle balance of flavors that keeps it interesting without feeling overwhelming. The toppings were thoughtfully done, especially the seafood elements, which added a nice freshness. The noodles had a good texture overall, though I've seen mixed opinions on consistency depending on timing. The space itself is modern and cozy, with a relaxed vibe that works well for both casual dining and small groups. That said, this might not be the place if you're expecting a very traditional ramen experience. It leans more toward a creative, almost "elevated comfort food" style, which I personally enjoyed, but I can see how it might not be for everyone. Overall, it's a unique take on ramen with a lot of attention to detail. Not your typical bowl, but definitely worth trying if you're open to something a little different.

The soft-boiled egg was also really good, slightly sweet, chilled, and very flavorful. We also tried the Spicy Red Miso ramen, which was not actually very spicy and leaned a little sweet. The broth was pleasant, though my teammate felt there were so many onions and green onions that they covered some of the miso flavor. The chashu, however, was excellent, with a really nice balance of lean meat and fat without feeling greasy. The takoyaki was classic and well done, crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, with generous pieces of octopus inside. The karaage was also very solid, crispy outside and juicy inside, with a seasoning that had a clear ginger and cooking wine aroma.
