Very surprised with how good the broth tasted, it wasn't too salty and had a good flavour. The portion size was not bad for the price although it is a bit pricey. Spicy white sesame shio (4/5) - I thought the flavour was good except the meat was a little lacking. Black sesame tantan (3/5) - This was probably the weakest out of all the ramen we got, not bad but also not too good. Stone bowl shoyu (4/5) - This one had the best flavour and there were lots of toppings. There's less broth compared to noodles though so if prefer more soup, then this might not be for you. Service was quick and food came out fairly quickly after placing the order. Not a big space but there's enough tables. We went during lunch and it was empty.

Disclaimer: The Ramen was complimentary as part of a Yelp Elite event. Ramen Isshin delivers exactly what it promises: deep, flavourful bowls with real personality. I ordered the Dragon Ramen, and the spice level is no joke -- but they do warn you. The broth has complexity, the noodles have bite, and the heat builds in a way that feels deliberate, not overwhelming. The dining room is quiet in a pleasant way. Most people are focused on their bowls, and it gives the place a relaxed, purposeful atmosphere. Service was excellent; friendly, attentive, and informative about the spice levels and ingredients, checking in just enough without interrupting the flow of the meal. A strong, dependable ramen option in the city -- especially if you like heat.

Perfect spot for a hot and delicious bowl of ramen on a cold day. Ramen Isshin was clean and sleek with dark wood finishes. The servers are welcoming and friendly. We ordered the Black Sesame Tantan Noodle (4/5), Spicy White Sesame Shio (4/5), and Stone Bowl Shoyu Kotteri Tsukemen (5/5). Flavour-wise, the dishes were really good. They did advertise the Black Sesame Tantan and Spicy White Sesame Shio Noodles as spicy but we did not find them spicy at all which was quite a let down. The noodles were bouncy and chewy which were the perfect textures in every bite. I recommend the tsukemen if you've never had it before. The depth of the flavours of the broth were so savoury and comforting. It had a hint of smokiness to it which we enjoyed. Protein-to-carb ratio could be improved for the tantan noodles (only 2 thin slices of pork belly cha shu). Overall, a great addition to the ramen spots in Vaughan. I'd come back for the tsukemen again.

November 26, 2025 - What a wonderful event. Ramen Isshin treated me to a ramen of choice. I got the dragon ramen but had the sauce and jalapenos on the side just to make sure it wasn't too spicy for me (they said it would be spicy). The dish came with pork belly and a soft boiled marinated egg, topped with some garnish and the black fungus shreds. I tried without the spicy dragon sauce at first, but decided to put all the sauce in. It probably hit my upper spice tolerance. The jalapenos would have been too spicy for me. Any hotter and I would have just been chugging water . It had a bit of a Szechuan peppercorn taste (numbing sensation), among other spices mixed in with the red dragon chilli sauce. Overall I really enjoyed the ramen. I would definitely come back to try the other dishes! Thank you Carmen and Ramen Isshin!

So flavorful. One heart... you can taste the love in the food. Love soup noodles on a cold day. It's a good sign when there are patrons in the off hours (mid afternoon). Honestly overall it's 3.5 stars as it's not amazing/excellent value (I'm the value hunter after all). The price is about what you'd expect for a nice rich soup with so much flavour not too spicy... just a little heat. Now I wonder if I should have tried the dragon ramen. I would visit again. Nice dark wood decor... it has a contemporary Japanese steak house vibe. This was a cool place for a yelp event. In the top 2 of recent memory.

Venue 5/5 Easy to get to, plenty of parking, in a corner of the plaza outside of Vaughan mills. Transit accessible too. The wait isn't long usually, unless peak hours. Service 5/5 Staff always attentive and very helpful when providing recommendations. Food comes out quickly and regular check ins to ensure we are looked after. Food 5/5 Didn't take photos of gyoza this time , but that is another great dish along with edamame and their ramens. They also have Don bowls with various protein. Good that they have chicken and pork options for those with dietary restrictions.

I always order STONE BOWL SHOYU KOTTERI TSUKEMEN whenever I visit this place (been there 10+ times ) I don't think there's much ramen place in Toronto got dipping ramen! Great service and we tried the summer limited shaved ice dessert, highly recommend the hojicha flavor one!!!

Nice little ramen shop near Vaughn Mills. Staff are very friendly and attentive. I ordered take out and the service was pretty fast. I had the Dragon Ramen and the Roasted Garlic ramen to go. Both had really nice and creamy broths. The Dragon ramen was on the salty side. I asked for the chilli paste it comes with on the side. When I added it to the broth and it made it pretty salty. I'm not sure if they gave me more chilli paste than what they would normally add to the soup. All in all, it wasn't a bad place and I would go again.

Ramen Isshin is a solid ramen spot in Vaughan, ON! I think it's definitely one of the better ramen shops in the area, hands down. Came here on a weekend during lunch and snagged their last spot before the rush of people came in. Service is friendly and food comes out quick. Got the red miso and roasted garlic shoyu which were both great. Red miso comes with wok fried pork, onions, bean sprouts, carrots, wood ear mushroom, chives, pork belly char shu and thick noodles. While the roasted garlic shoyu comes with garlic oil, bamboo shoots, nori, marinated soft boiled egg, pork belly char shu, green onions and thin noodles. My preference is the roasted garlic shoyu as it's super creamy, rich and packed with garlic flavour. These bowls of ramen are warm, comforting and just what is needed in the colder winter months. Highly recommend coming here, definitely a go to spot and a favourite in the area.

Tsukemen ramen - soup was on the salty side..should ask for less salt next time

Service was very good at this place. We were welcomed right away. Very friendly. Quaint little restaurant in a corner of the plaza so it was difficult to find. Inside was nice, clean. Food was good. Broth for both soups were on the salty side but I will.come back and ask for less salty next time. The tofu dish was my favorite. Chili crisps delicious..not too spicy. Just flavourful! I want to go back to see if it was just an off day for the soup!

3.5 rounded up. Delicious ramen! Went here early with a group of 3 people plus 2 babies, the server was a bit frazzled trying to figure out the logistics of the high chairs and when we went to sit down, we noticed the high chair had not protective straps so I had to change to a booster chair which worked fine, my friend also used a booster chair for her daughter but that chair was also missing a part of the strap so it was not ideal for bringing a baby as their equipment isn't quite up to par. The restaurant is small and kinda dark inside, it's not particularly welcoming but it did seem clean. The menus are through QR code but their drinks menu is a physical menu. I ordered the spicy red miso ramen, it came with the usual toppings like pork belly and black fungus, and it also came with bean sprouts which added a nice crunchy contrast and ground beef for some extra meatiness. I thought for the price, they could have given me an egg, I didn't realize until after I got my order that I didn't get one, I guess my mistake for not reading it properly! I just don't understand ramen that doesn't come with an egg!! Anyways, the flavour was really good, the miso was evident yet mild, I enjoyed the toppings and the pork belly, it was really not particularly spicy so if you want spice I'd ask for more spice or go for a spicier option. Service was nice, at one point the babies were eating some food that I had brought from home and the server actually brought them some bowls to eat their food out of. I thought that was very thoughtful! Food came fast and everything was as ordered. Overall a solid ramen place with some interesting menu items. I wasn't blown away unfortunately by the ramen, maybe I was distracted by the high chair situation. I would definitely try it again and maybe try something different next time!

Curry Tsukemen. Great al dente ramen. Hard to find Tsukemen here and the service is great.

I visited Ramen Isshin after hearing about it at a Yelp event. The restaurant is inconspicuously located in a corner in one of the plazas in front of Vaughn Mills Mall. The restaurant has multiple tables inside but also has a patio. You can always find seating. On this day, I decided to order the red dragon miso ramen. The wait staff was kind enough to recommend getting the spices on the side so that I can adjust the spice level. The spices include a red chili sauce and red and green chili peppers. The ramen broth is extremely hearty and reminds me of what I'm looking for in comfort food. There are so many ingredients that work well with the broth, including ground pork, wood ear mushrooms, bean sprouts, and green onions. The noodles are perfectly al dente. The soft boiled marinated egg is perfect. I love the way that the yolk is not too runny. Finally, the pork belly is tender and soft. The food is excellent and the service is superb. I'll definitely come back.

My rating is 4.5 stars. I'll round up…read more Kinton Ramen currently has a handful of BOGO (buy one item, get another for free) deals happening on Uber Eats. All my Kinton Ramen visits never consisted of a BOGO deal, so I was happy to change things up. I didn't realize that Vaughan had a Kinton Ramen. I know that one has recently opened at CF Markville Mall. However, I was running errands west of Markham and this location was on my way to them. I ordered the following items: - Golden duo with thick noodles - Yuzu cheesecake Both were BOGO deals. I got an estimated time as I was leaving Richmond Hill. I would get to this eatery a few minutes after the specified ready time. I had no problem finding a parking spot. A vehicle had pulled out of a spot steps away from the entrance. I backed into it. It was a good day. I walked in. There was a customer ahead of me who seemed nervous and fidgety. I stood in line behind him. It was trying to figure out why he was reacting that way that interested me. There were two staffers. The male one was nice and came over to me. I said that I had an Uber Eats order. I showed it on my phone. He nodded and headed to work with the male chef behind the counter and his female colleague next to him. The female colleague needed help putting together an order. The male one helped her sort things out. She had put the wrong noodles and broth in a paper bag with handles. She had to take the lids off the ramen bowls to figure out the contents inside. She had to bag two broths in containers. I have always been an observer. I'm also patient -- perhaps too patient for my own good. The man in front of me had every right to be nervous. She was packing up his takeout order and had messed up, which likely caused him to get all nervous and looked at me three times during this ordeal. I never made eye contact with him, as I didn't need his nervous energy extended to me. I did the fourth time when I watched her get his order right. Our eyes met and I smiled that he got his order right. He smiled back. It's always about context. It's the only reason why I'd give this experience 4.5 stars. The confused female staffer didn't exude confidence to two customers watching her pack up an order. There were two pairs of diners while I was here. It felt like a relaxed setting slurping ramen and conversing in this eatery. I should dine here next time. It felt comfortable. The male staffer, on the other hand, was competent. I saw him pack two ramen bowls, two broth containers, and two boxes containing cheesecake into my paper bag. He then carefully sealed everything with stickers and handed the bag with handles over to me. I thanked him and wished him a great day. He reciprocated, almost with a sigh of relief. I headed to my car and drove off. My next couple of errands were by my workplace. I decided to have lunch there. I had half my food for lunch. I had the rest at home today. The golden duo consisted of your choice of noodles (thin or thick) in a pork broth that had white sesame paste. The protein was seasoned ground pork. It had a marinated egg, bean sprouts, scallions, bamboo shoot, wood ear mushroom, chili oil, shredded chili pepper, white pepper, and a few crispy fried onions on top. I went with thick noodles. You can't customize any items in the ramen bowls on Uber Eats. I am frankly not a fan of bamboo shoot. Luckily, there were four strips that I easily removed from my bowl of ramen. The broth was still pipping hot. I placed everything in an insulated bag. Both broth containers were placed in a plastic bag. I appreciated that packing detail. I poured one of the broth containers into my ramen. I then loosened up my thick ramen noodles and chowed down. The golden duo was yummy. The broth was rich and creamy. The thick noodles were chewy and perfectly cooked. I loved the flavours in my ramen. The seasoned ground pork was perfect with the bean sprouts, scallions, and marinated egg. This bowl of ramen did have a spicy kick. My bowl at the office wasn't terribly spicy. The one that I had at home had a stronger level of spiciness. Both were great. I normally don't get utensils. Since I was eating at the office and didn't have the proper utensils, I said yes. The spoon from Kinton Ramen was gorgeous and deep, which allowed me to enjoy every spoonful of broth and more. I actually washed it out and stored in my locker at work... haha! The golden duo was equally as yummy a day later. I'm not sure if the spiciness elevated overnight, but it was nice. The cheesecake at Kinton Ramen tends to be on the smaller side, which I appreciate. I've had the matcha and loved it. I went with yuzu and it was awesome. I loved the citrusy brightness that the yuzu brought to the cheesecake. It was the perfect richness to end my meal. I look forward to getting more ramen from this eatery. There's a veggie immune booster ramen bowl that I wouldn't mind trying. It's currently a part of the BOGO deal. (105)
