We love Midori Ramen and we enjoy visiting this branch especially after shopping at Vaughan Mills. They have mouthwatering ramen and we recently tried their Donburi offerings. It's loaded with fresh ingredients. Truly satisfying and such a good alternative to ramen. This branch is cozy and spacious plus it offers plenty of parking since it's located in a plaza. The favourites flight (appetiser sampler) came with 2 pieces each of 3 appetisers. The gyōza was a touch overcooked & on the drier side but the sauce was creamy & zesty. The karaage was light, crispy & moist enough. Besides mayo it came with a surprisingly spicy hot sauce. The takoyaki was crispier than average & the sauces were rich. Had the Asari ramen which was a two week special. It was alright. It tasted strongly of the sea & had a lot of sesame oil. There were quite a few clams inside. Also had Signature ramen. The stock was very creamy & pretty rich. The chashus were decent. Red onion was an interesting topping but didn't seem to affect the flavour. The egg was pretty good. Gobo (fried burdock) was interesting but wasn't crispy enough to add too much to the backdrop of textures. read more

We tried the Original Tori Paitan and Truffle Tori Paitan. The original was pretty good, and the truffle one had a strong truffle flavour. The thin noodles fit my liking--neither too hard nor too soft. A little bit on the salty side, but most ramens are. The chicken was super tender, almost too tender to taste like real chicken. We also tried the appetizer sampler - Gyoza, Chicken Karaage, and Takoyaki. All were standard yummy. The purple yam fries were a pleasant surprise, especially the dipping sauce, which was sweet and sour, quite refreshing, just a bit pricey. Service was good. The place had sufficient space and looked clean too. What a wonderful experience! This is probably the ramen place we were looking for and have found the best one in Vaughan. Instead of pork broth, they use chicken broth! They messed up one of our ramens, but I don't blame them since there are three of them that are named the same with just one word at the end that was different. But even then, it was delicious and worth the mistake! Because it made us try a different broth (instead of two Shoyu's, we got one Shoyu and one special) The lady that was working there was very humble too and apologetic about the mistake, which we were fine with. She also explained the menu to us when we came in and helped us decide our choices. The overall restaurant was extremely clean and looked really pretty. Brought my mom here the other day. She's typically one to be a little picky but she really enjoyed her ramen here. Service was very prompt. The space was nice and clean. They had run out of thin noodles when we went and advised us of this after ordering but we didn't mind too much. I think in the end my mom might still have gotten thin noodles like she wanted though. Came here on an early Sunday evening and had the delicious black garlic ramen - a dish I feel Midori has really perfected! The broth was super flavourful and I loved how much the black garlic adds. We got a set and the fried gyoza and karaage was also delicious. The whole restaurant was full and service was quick. Would certainly return if I'm in the area. read more

I've gone here a good few times and honestly, I think it's one of the best locations. It's spacious, cool and clean. Service is quick and attentive. My brother and I came in during their anniversary when they were having the BOGO. I ordered the black garlic and he ordered the signature original. This visit was genuinely the best and the broth was nice and creamy. The chicken was also fantastic and overall the ramen was perfect. We also ordered karaage on the side which was nice. It's not dry and the perfect amount of crispy. Our bill came to around $50 after tip and tax. What a great addition to the area! This visit was my first time trying Midori and what a treat it was. First off, they use chicken broth as their base in all their non-vegetarian ramens and their vegetarian ramens are made with cauliflower. I love a rich tonkotsu and it's usually my go-to but Midori's chicken broth was excellent and didn't have me missing pork at all! The favourites flight was a great appetizer! A little bit of everything, perfect for when you can't decide. The service was great; our server was really friendly and helpful with going through their menu offerings and letting us know about some of the items unavailable at the time, to help with any decision making. I had just gotten done shopping at the mall next-door and cannot decide on what to eat to save my life. So I drove around the plaza for a little bit and stumbled upon this place. I came in on a Friday around seven and was quickly seated. There was only one other table when I came in. All of the staff was very friendly and attentive. I was kind of bummed they didn't have beer at this location because a Sapporo would've paired very well with this Ramen. I had a hard time deciding on which Ramen I wanted because about three or four of them sounded good, but I decided on the spicy tan and added egg. The broth was good and creamy. It wasn't spicy in my opinion usually my glasses will at least slide down my face from the heat;not so much. Was hoping for more bok choy but only got three leaves :(.
