On a Saturday towards the end of July, I came to this plaza for Toco Tea. After fetching my bubble tea, I was hungry. It was nearly 4 pm and I hadn't had lunch. I was steps away from this Ajisen Ramen. I love this franchise. I wanted to check this eatery out. It looked modern and inviting when I walked in. I was immediately greeted by a woman who seated me at a table where one side was padded seating and the other had chairs. I sat where the padding was. I got a menu and started to browse. I knew exactly what I wanted. When my server came over to take my order, I got the following items: - Japanese crab salad - Black garlic filet mignon ramen with corn - Coke Zero I am normally a Diet Coke person. This place didn't have any, so it was suggested that I get a Coke Zero instead. My Japanese crab salad was the perfect starter. The portion was great. I loved the julienned cucumbers. The cut was simple, but elegant. The crab was imitation crab, but it didn't hurt my feelings. The flavours were refreshing. I loved it. My black garlic filet mignon ramen with corn came out next. I was so hungry that I plowed through the whole thing. I love the black garlic broth. It is my favourite at Ajisen. The garlic isn't overpowering, but you know that it's there. It's so good that I couldn't get enough of the broth itself. The ramen was also perfectly done. The noodles were chewy. The filet mignon was tender and had so much depth in flavour. I loved the egg that accompanied it. I asked for corn. The ramen also came with bean sprouts and green onions. Every ingredient made this ramen awesome and enjoyable. I was so happy. I made my ramen disappear without any magic. I liked my Coke Zero. I am still a Diet Coke consumer, but Coke Zero is a decent alternative. It was cold and hit the spot. I asked for my bill. I paid with a credit card by bringing my bill up to the counter. I let the woman there know that the food was fabulous. She seemed so thankful to hear it. She wished me a good day and I reciprocated. I headed to the washroom before heading home. It was a single stall for the women's and it was clean. The dining area is huge. I was seated in half of it. You see the other half when you head over to the washroom. It's probably the largest Ajisen Ramen that I've never been to. It's also my favourite one in the GTA. I had an excellent experience. When I'm back in Vaughan and am craving ramen, I'd come back to this one in a heartbeat. (372)

Came here Saturday night and while the restaurant was very busy, there was a high turnover rate so we were able to sit immediately. I got the spicy ajisen pork ramen while my bf got the shoyu sliced pork ramen. I felt that although the ajisen pork ramen was quite spicy (was reaching for water++) it wasn't as flavourful as I'd hope it would be. In addition, the egg was pretty cooked to the point the yolk was chalky and I can appreciate how other ramen restaurants have soft boiled eggs which are my favourite. The portion was pretty good. For the shoyu sliced pork ramen, we felt there was very minimal flavour. Service was quite fast.

Was shopping at Vaughan mills and didn't know there was in the plaza! Staff greeted us and started off friendly! Once seated it was a little slow for someone to come take our order. Waiter asked us 3 times if the bill was together or separate. Once ordered were placed they brought out my boyfriends meal first... 5 minutes fo buy and they brought out my 2 friends orders followed by mind shortly after. My boyfriend didn't want to eat without us so his meal went cold while waiting. They really should have brought everyone's meals out at once or closer together. The water cups are very small. We went without a refill almost the entire time and had to keep asking for refills. My food was average. I ordered the vegetarian ramen and it was not hot. Broth was slightly warm. I prefer kinton Raman more. Noodles tasted old. Bathrooms were very clean! Prices are very well! For 50$ (for 2 people) we got 1 ramen, 1 katsu don, a takoyaki and potato cakes.

Three of us came in for noodles. I ordered the Spicy Chicken Ramen bowl and three spring rolls. I rarely give five stars but I will this time. First, the service from entering, being seated and at the table was just excellent. Was made to feel very welcome immediately. The meal was fantastic. High spice, as I like it, speedy, and piping hot. The decor is modern, bright and everything is very clean. Good job and well done.

Got take out here one day to try the quality of this location. They asked if we wanted to sit down, which was nice but we wanted to do take out instead this time. They provided the ramen as we had thought and the quality was perfect and delicious. Definitely coming back to have it more fresh straight from the kitchen and sitting in the restaurant.

Love this place for a me day treat. Excellent servers hired, promptly delivered, okay environment but as if I show up to stare at walls. -1 star for not having garlic though

I've come here about 4/5 times and I can honestly say the food is amazing. Would definitely recommend if you want something high quality and affordable.

Disclaimer: I know this is a chain restaurant so I'm sure the staff does not have a lot of creative, or control over anything I'm about to say, but I'll still be honest about my opinion :) Ajisen Doesn't put up any shows, Menu is too big, Too many things going for it but nothing is really showcasing its ability. I prefer Ramen Restaurants get 5 things well than 15 things just above okay standards. Seriously the broth, cha siu, and noodles should be star of every bowl of ramen. When nothing of each one tastes like they belong together or even good in general I think it's just calling itself ramen for the sake of it. They try to cater to the Americanized version of Ramen, but even the Hong Kong Menu is half the size. Aka No Steak, No Karage, No Shrimp. I had the Black Garlic Ramen and my Friend had the Original AJisen Ramen. Basically everything was the same except I paid for the extra Black Garlic Sauce. THe whole point of black Garlic is that its an oil you add to the bowl before the broth is poured onto it, where it gets cooked and emulsifies into the broth. No joke they just squirt it ontop like soy sauce LOL. You get Half the portion of Cha-siu you get at other Ramen Shops. The Odd Cameras in the Kitchen Spaces really give you the feeling that everyone is just working like they do in a factory. Which is strange because food comes out at a snails pace. In All, I wouldn't come back to Ajisen. Every bite I had just reminded me of how I could of driven a little longer to North York and gotten better Ramen.

I am very sad to say that this was a very disappointing experience at ajisen for me. Growing up I went to the north york location and and after hearing that they opened one in Vaughan was exciting. My first two experiences at the Vaughan location were very good and this last time was just a disappointment, we ordered a pork ramen miso and the ajisen ramen black garlic and it took us 30 mins + to receive our food and upon receiving it, the presentation was awful compared to my past experiences. And on top of that, the water smells strongly of chlorine. Needless to say, I won't be returning here

The service here was very slow on a weekday evening with only a few workers running around to take orders, clean, and etc so it is understandable that the wait time can be long. The ramen is not amazing but definitely a little cheaper than what you usually see at other establishments. The egg was over cooked. The ambiance was very loud and bustling overall and I probably wouldn't come here in the future.

Great food and service not too expensive as well. I recommend the spicy beef definitely my favourite !!!

Good ramen. Try the spicy mala broth with the pork. The pork is not chashu btw. The spicy beef is good as well. You're looking at around $14 a bowl. Service is a bit slow. If you're in a hurry, you will probably have to wait around 30min to get your food. Not a typical ramen spot where you're in and out. The pan fried gyoza is pretty oily. I wouldn't recommend just because of how oily it was. They didn't provide side tables to eat it which I thought was a bit weird. So the both of us were leaning over to not drop it lol. Overall, not a bad spot for a ramen craving!

The restaurant was at a busy location, which was the end of the driveway, everyone sees it before making a turn. The staff was nice when we walked in. We were greeted and directed to a corner table where was better with a baby. We showed them 2 coupons, 1 for ramen and 1 for fried chicken. The staff needed to talk to the owner about them. After a few seconds, she came back and said only 1 coupon per visit. We were a bit disappointed, because we were so hard to dine out with a baby, and not able to come again with a long drive and a baby. We talked to their owner, he was nice to let us try both at the same time. Oh yeah! So we have 1 original ramen with black garlic oil, and 1 tomato base. It won't take long to wait. The fried chicken came first, it was not like the breaded chicken, it fried from original, but after marinated; it has taste, but not salty. The 2 ramen came at the same time. They both really rich, but not so salty, because the salt level could be altered; the noodle size could be chosen as well, we did 1 thick and 1 thin. They both looked similar. Overall, the ramen and the chicken all looked good and tasty. I would like to come again if next time I come around this area, even though they were a bit pricey.

At first the broth wasn't that impressive, but it definitely grew on me as I ate. I loved the flavour on the chashu (none of that bland unflavored pork here) and the shiitake mushrooms were also marinated very well (though they were a bit on the sweet side). Don't be fooled by the photo - there is a lot of noodle in there! They also offer a free kids meal deal for kids under 12 with an order of two bowls of ramen, which is pretty nice if you're eating out as a family.
