We had the two meal combo which you can choose two of their ramens, chicken karage, dumplings and two pop sodas. They even threw in an extra piece. Such great service and super fast. I requested my egg to be well done and they also accommodated. We came on a Wednesday evening and it was not super busy, no reso needed.

Current special: gyudon ramen with rice

Chicken broth ramen is tasty and lighter than tonkotsu. Choice of noodle thickness, appetizers platter is a nice addition good for 2 people with 3 different types of appetizers for variety. Vegetarian friendly. Seasonal specials ramen, currently the specials are gyudon ramen (comes with rice) and matcha ramen. Ambiance is casual and clean. Ample parking. Friendly service

Came here on a weekday with friends and even though it was mid-week, it was still decently busy. Staff here are friendly and attentive. The overall space is quite small so be sure to avoid busy dinner hours so that you can get a seat. We ordered the signature tori paitan, red spicy, and the tori paitan shoyu. For appetizers, we ordered the karage chicken and the aigamo tataki. While the karage chicken was good, it only came in three pieces. One piece for each of us at the table, that was quite disappointing and expensive for the price point. The duck was ok, nothing special but came with a nice yuzu sauce. The ramen was cooked nicely. The bowls all came with once slice of chasu and chicken, so not very much meat. All the soup bases tasted pretty similar but was nice and creamy. The ramen was a little lacklustre for us so would probably not return for another visit.

MIDORI RAMEN . . Midori offers a variety of ramen options with thick, thin or kale noodles. They use a chicken base broth that has a delicate and milky consistency. . . Tori Buta Ramen 4.5/5 Duck Shoyu Ramen 4.3/5 . . Tori Buta Ramen is now permanently back on the menu! It's loaded with pork chashu and comes with an egg. Because there is so much chashu it does make the broth very oily and heavy, to the point that it might be too much for some. The Duck Shoyu was equally enjoyable. I loved the green onions and diced onions that it came with. It gives the broth an extra kick. The duck was cooked beautifully and is a great alternative if you're not feeling pork. The broth was also very oily and heavy with this one so keep that in mind.

Quick service and yummy food! The place was very clean and neat. We got a table right away at peak dinner time. I ordered the Black Garlic ramen and it was delicious. The only thing is I wish it came with an egg rather than me having to get charged extra for it.

A pretty good ramen spot to spin by if you're in the mood for some late night ramen. Opened decently late but not to midnight. The food itself was really good, we ordered the Aigamo Tataki, which is slices of soft, sous-vide duck with a side of yuzu wasabi and it was heavenly. The duck was super tender and flavourful on its own and the wasabi was so different in taste from the usual wasabi you get at Japanese places. It was still spicy but it had a nice sour kick to it. Paired together with the duck, it was amazing. For mains, we ordered the the Red Spicy at a medium spice level. It was packed full of flavour and honestly, we could have gone up a spice level cause it was good but didn't really have a kick to it. We ordered an extra egg to add on top and I think it really elevated the flavour. The space itself is very small and kind of cramped, but there was a cute bonsai layout at the front in the window that looked super aesthetic. I would have loved it if there were more spaces for seating and if there was just more space in general. Service was kind of slow, which sucked because we were super hungry. There was only one waiter, and she did her absolute best but it really did take a while to even put our order in. Overall not a bad place, would probably go back but maybe not when we're super hungry lol.

3.5 I like how they have more vegetarian options here - the broth was very flavourful and nice. Note to future self to request the thicker noodles. Service was prompt. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely and has ample seating. I'll definitely give them another try!

green tea ramen, with duck, some sort of mushroom crispies(?) and green (arugula?)

came here due to special limited-edition ramen (green tea ramen). the advertisement makes my mouth watery! anything with green tea is usually yummy!' the service is fast, friendly, and attentive. the ramen comes (by default) with thick noodle and it cannot be substituted. ramen also comes with duck and some crispies(?) and green (not sure what is it. maybe arugula?). broth was good. creamy savory. thick noodle is bouncy...nice texture. it gives you that 'ummph' feeling when you bIte. duck is not bad (maybe could be tender. it's bit hard to cut in half with my teeth). the greens is such a turn off. it doesnt match the overall flavor of ramen. its taste is not suitable. hence less star.

It was my first time at a Midori chain so that piece of surprise chicken at the bottom surprised me. I thought it was a cute touch though. Overall, I would say it is a good bowl of ramen. The broth was rich and flavourful, and the noodles had a great texture. Surprisingly the portion was also quite big, I had to take some of my noodles home as I could not finish it. I would say is that it is quite pricey, but I do feel like the quality and portion do make up for it.   This Richmond Hill location is not that big, and very busy, so there was a wait even on a weekday. There were some tables outside but unfortuntely since there is no awning, the sun is in your eyes making it impossible to sit there. Would be nice if they would be able to add some umbrellas or something at least to help reduce the wait for a table.   Overall, once we got a table it was an enjoyable experience.

Authentic Japanese Ramen, simple, minimalistic, bold flavors in a compact bowl of noodles. Ambience: Two bar seating areas, one with a zen garden in front of you, and one in front of the chefs, the rest are small tables located near the interior of the restaurant. Modern design/decor in the restaurant space with upbeat lively music to pair. Service: As soon as you enter you are greeted by the staff in a very Japanese-manner, it may sound like yelling but I assure you it ain't. After we sat down we didn't even wait 2 minutes before someone came to take our order. (5/5) Menu selection is small (which is good); from the menu you can see they focus on key ingredients to ensure dishes are optimized for full flavor and they don't have a menu that is all over the place. Food: We ordered one bowl of the original tori paitan and one bowl of the truffle ramen. Original Tori Paitan - It was a pleasant taste with a rich, creamy broth that coats the mouth, the noodle texture was al dente as expected. Good portion of toppings that go along with this original dish. After a few bites and getting into this you will get tunnel vision on the dimensions and textures within the dish, exponential flavor combinations of the rich, creaminess of the broth and the different elementental combinations of garnishes to go with the dish. It was good, but expect this to be very heavy on the stomach. I didn't want to drive after, felt like I would get a DUI cause of my itis. () Truffle Ramen - The flavors in this dish was not fragrant to the nose, but when you mix this altogether and take a spoonful of the broth with the noodles/truffle - it is an explosion of flavor in your mouth. Truffle is a very strong ingredient to use and this is definitely the star of the show in this dish. If you truly love truffle, this item is on limited run - I am not sure how often it comes back but if you do get the chance to try, please be my guest. To say it is truffle is an understatement. *also very heavy and felt intoxicating in a good way () Parking: Big parking lot, however there are only a few spots in the front of the restaurant cause there is many eats in this specific plaza. You won't have trouble. Overall Experience: I'll have to come back and try the other dishes but if you do want ramen, definitely a place to check out.

The atmosphere is nice. Service is good too. Food though wasn't great, I wouldn't go back tbh. Wish it had more flavour. I would rank the donburi and yam fries best and ramen and chicken karaage last.

The restaurant was at a busy location, which was the end of the driveway, everyone sees it before making a turn. The staff was nice when we walked in. We were greeted and directed to a corner table where was better with a baby. We showed them 2 coupons, 1 for ramen and 1 for fried chicken. The staff needed to talk to the owner about them. After a few seconds, she came back and said only 1 coupon per visit. We were a bit disappointed, because we were so hard to dine out with a baby, and not able to come again with a long drive and a baby. We talked to their owner, he was nice to let us try both at the same time. Oh yeah! So we have 1 original ramen with black garlic oil, and 1 tomato base. It won't take long to wait. The fried chicken came first, it was not like the breaded chicken, it fried from original, but after marinated; it has taste, but not salty. The 2 ramen came at the same time. They both really rich, but not so salty, because the salt level could be altered; the noodle size could be chosen as well, we did 1 thick and 1 thin. They both looked similar. Overall, the ramen and the chicken all looked good and tasty. I would like to come again if next time I come around this area, even though they were a bit pricey.

At first the broth wasn't that impressive, but it definitely grew on me as I ate. I loved the flavour on the chashu (none of that bland unflavored pork here) and the shiitake mushrooms were also marinated very well (though they were a bit on the sweet side). Don't be fooled by the photo - there is a lot of noodle in there! They also offer a free kids meal deal for kids under 12 with an order of two bowls of ramen, which is pretty nice if you're eating out as a family.

They are wooden seats but it's not uncomfortable. There were quite a few tables filled that day. The bathroom - 1 more male, 1 for female. It is disability friendly and it's really clean. Although I sat close to the entrance, I didn't feel any cold draft from outside at all. Service - 5/5: I was seated quickly. The food came put pretty quick. It was easy to catch the attention of a server to get my order. Ramen came out first. The gyoza took a bit more prep time but it was fine as it came when I was halfway through saying my ramen. Food - 5/5: Aside from the layer of oil on top, the broth was rich and not overly salty. I got the daily special of barbeque pork and sweet corn ramen. The gyozas were nice, crispy outside, juicy on the inside. It was lightly pan fried which works well for me. I think I was just really hungry so both dishes surprisingly didn't fill me up. Overall - 5/5: would definitely come back, especially as the weather gets colder. A hot bowl of ramen just hits the spot on a cold day.

Let's say there was far too much hype. I just ordered a miso ramen to try. The noodle texture was average, and it should be thicker. The soup was THIN. The default amount of toppings was alright - they give you both halves of the egg unlike some other places. The meat is a decent thickness. And you get a few other toppings without having to pay extra. But overall, since the two key aspects of ramen - noodles and soup - are mediocre at best, I will not be returning.
