When I first walked in, it gave a very cozy relaxing vibe. The restaurant had quite a bit of seating available which was great. They don't accept cash or American express I got the original tori paitan without onions and the favourites flight for appetizer. The broth was thick and creamy, it was very flavorful and delicious. However, I found the chicken karaage really salty which I didn't really like. The service was good, the waitress was very tentative and friendly. Overall, their food was good and I would certainly come back again when I'm craving for ramen.

Delicious and wonderful dining experience tonight at Midori. Great service provided as all my drinks and cutlery, table was refilled and taken care of throughout the evening. I ordered the Black garlic ramen with extra pork charsiu and thick noodles. Order was presented to be hot, looked appetizing and tasted delicious. I also ordered the appetizer favorites flight with consisted of chicken karage, takoyaki, and gyozas. These appetizers were fresh, and made with care To finish it off I ordered the almond tofu, which was topped with a mint leaf and a goji berry. This was a very refreshing dessert to finish off the dining experience tonight. It was so good, I ordered another!! Will return!

Solid ramen. However I'm not a fan of milky type of broth. I got the spicy ramen and it was not all that spicy which I like. I just wished it had a different type of broth. The original lacked flavor. It was very bland. The takoyaki on the other hand was absolutely amazing! The gyoza was great and stuffed with chicken!

So happy that they opened up a location in Scarborough! Took my dad here and he enjoyed the ramen. I like how they serve both chicken and pork in the ramen bowls. Pork had good torch and egg was cooked well. This is a new space perfect size for the area it's in. Service was quick as we came for lunch on a weekday. Hopefully service would be the same on a weekend but I'm sure it's a lot busier. Will be returning again to try out some of the other ramen options but loved my bowl.

Heard of and saw friends coming to this place, so I decided to try. Came with 2 others, so we ordered a few items. Not sure if other locations have, but we ordered a appetizer that consisted of chicken karage, tako yaki & dumplings. This was really good, 2 pcs of each, perfect sharing size for 3 ladies. We got 2 ramens: duck shoyu & truffle. Duck shoyu was very good but the truffle was a bit on the salty side. We also got a tori don which was a smaller rice bowl and it was yummy. Overall, everything we tried was pretty decent and I'd come back if I was having a ramen craving.

We ordered a spicy tantan noodle, a few paitan noodle bowls, a duck shoyu, and a red spicy noodle. It was alright and nothing really special. It's just an ordinary ramen place with small portions. Nice service. I would rather try something different as there are lots of interesting eateries in the same plaza.

Midori Ramen just vaulted to the top of my Scarborough noodle list. Their new Gyudon Ramen is a double‑threat: silky paitan chicken broth meets a mountain of sweet‑soy beef. Pay an extra dollar for rice, slide some beef on top, perch the onsen egg, and you've built gyudon before the first slurp. Rich broth, black‑garlic oil, and fresh scallion keep each sip lively. Portions are huge--easily enough for two lighter appetites. Start with the Favourites Flight. Karaage lands ultra‑crisp and juicy, takoyaki melts in the middle, and gyoza arrive with a spicy‑mayo kick. At twelve bucks it's an easy yes. Service is prompt, staff friendly, dining room spotless, and even the washroom gleams. For extra savings, check their set meals: the combo for two brings two ramen, two sides, and two canned drinks for $46--great date‑night insurance. If creamy broth and tender beef are your love language, add Midori to your must‑try list.

Came here for the first time and ordered the black garlic ramen and the tori paitan shoyu ramen. The garlic ramen had both garlic oil and fried garlic, giving it a strong garlic flavour. The broth was also very creamy. We loved how tender the meat was. The service was quick and friendly as well.

A bit disappointed in the red spicy ramen. What made it fire was the chili pepper you see in the picture. Otherwise, the ramen was great. The soup for both was rich and creamy. I don't suggest drinking it all feels like it might clog my arteries lol. The service was nice, server came to check on us at least once to ensure our food was okay. The restaurant is small but can seat a bit of people. Would come back!

It was our first visit. I came with my family and we ordered a bowl of ramen noodle for each of us, Karaage and mini buta don. Underneath the chairs there was a basket to put your purse or small items. The chairs have a low curved backing. The ramen was good and the flavour of the soup base was more creamy based not oily but I did wish it was hotter. I like when the soup base is piping hot. We ordered the duck shoyu, shoyu tori paitan & signature tori paitan. There is a choice of thin, thick or kale noodles. There is a surcharge for kale noodles. The Karaage was really good (juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside). The service was very good. They were friendly and attentive. This restaurant only accepts credit or debit no cash.

Lunch date with my daughter this past weekend at Midori Ramen in Scarborough!! Also, our first time checking out this ramen spot! Around 12:30 pm on a Sat afternoon, both of us were so hungry!! Luckily we got seated immediately by the friendly staff!! We've ordered: Limited edition till end of Nov -- Yuzu Ramen ($18.99) Red Spicy Ramen ($15.49) Chicken karaage ($6.99) Both ramen came with a piece of chicken & pork belly. Yuzu Ramen's soup was super creamy, flavorful & yet not too heavy. We got medium hot for red spicy ramen & would probably opt for the most spicy level next time! The chicken karaage was so crunchy on the outside while tendered & juicy on the inside! Highly recommend as an appetizer! Gotta mention the staffs were super prompt, friendly & helpful! Visited Midori Ramen for lunch. We tried one of their appetizer flights which are perfect if you want to try a variety of appetizers - the one we tried had 3 different apps including karaage, gyoza, and takoyaki which were all very enjoyable. We also tried their signature tori paitan and their original tori paitan. Both ramens were delicious, hearty, and flavourful. The chashu was also tender and tasty. Service here was very attentive and pleasant. The ambiance is clean and sleek.

Love the downtown location and awesome they've expanded uptown. If you're looking for the Tori Tori Paitan, look no further. Midori does one of the best chicken based broth ramen around. It's lighter than your classic Tonkatsu and a refreshing way to have ramen. This location is in the Midland area where there are a ton of options for food. It's a great addition to the area. Typical ramen shop layout, clean, comfortable and good service! Will definitely visit again!

Thank goodness my mom and aunt were able to snatch a table while I went to look for parking. My mom and I upgraded our bowls to the value set for an extra $5, which honestly felt super worth it since it came with a seaweed salad, miso soup, plus a choice of gyoza or takoyaki. We ended up getting one of each to share. My mom ordered the MeatLovers bowl, I got the Roast Beef abura soba, and my auntie went for the Niku Miso. The portions were pretty filling and the noodles had that chewy texture that makes every bite so satisfying. The sauce was not overly salty, which mixed well with the noodles, and it was given at the PERFECT amount without having the noodles overly soggy. They also had extra fried onions and chili oil on the table if you wanted to add more flavour and texture, which I appreciated. The roast beef was sliced super thin and paired really well with the rich sauce underneath the noodles. One small detail I also loved was how the extra cutlery and napkins were stored neatly inside a pull-out drawer at the table, which was very convenient and helped keep the table less cluttered. They even had baskets underneath the table for jackets and bags, which was honestly such a smart touch considering how tight and busy the space gets. By the time we finished eating, there was a huge crowd of people waiting outside for seats. Holy cow this place is popular. Overall, it was a fun and different dining experience compared to regular ramen spots, and I can definitely see why people have been hyping this place up.

It's really delectable with all the sauce covering every noodle. Definitely try and customize with toppings such as the fried garlic, sesame, chilli oil, or even vinegar to cut the richness a bit. The meat is also cooked well, tender and delicious. Although the servers are friendly and curious, it's so busy they might not always be as attentive as other restaurants. Also, food always seems to arrive at the table at different times so it may be a bit awkward as someone who ploughed through their noodles will be done before some is just starting to mix their bowl. As it's new a popular, be ready for a wait if you come during prime hours, otherwise if you come a bit early or later you'll probably be in within 5-15 minutes. The restaurant itself is a bit loud but it's more of that fun energy and hustle and bustle with a popular tight seating restaurant. For noodle lovers or ramen lovers it's definitely a must go.

I'm a tad surprised that this Kinton Ramen got not-so-stellar reviews as of late. In contrast, I had a fabulous experience. My worst experience at any Kinton has been its Richmond Hill location. Staff got my order wrong, fished out bamboo shoot that I clearly stated that I didn't want, and did not care if I may or may not have a food allergy by giving me the same bowl of ramen. I had come to CF Markville Mall to pick up an order at Swarovski. I used mall entrance 1 to get there. I passed by this Kinton Ramen on my way over. I was ready for an early dinner. It was probably 4 pm on a Monday. I drove over here from my workplace in Mississauga. I thought that it would be great to give this eatery a try. The only downside is that you don't have mall access to this eatery. If you're in the mall, you have to to exit it through entrance 1 and then use the separate Kinton Ramen entrance. It's a bit inconvenient. I'd probably be more annoyed if I had a ton of shopping bags full of goods and winds were at 80 km/h for me to exit the mall and get into this eatery. Luckily, it was a nice day and I had a small bag. I entered the eatery and was greeted immediately by a female staffer. I asked for a table and got one with a view of Churchill's Cigar and Gift. It was also fun to people-watch as I ate. I looked at the menu. The burnt shoyu ramen looked good. I lucked out, as this ramen was a part of a Kinton combo. Yes! I got these items as part of my combo: - Sparkling yuzu lemonade - Pork gyoza (4) - Burnt shoyu with thick ramen and corn I got a cup with cold water. It was refreshing and much needed. It was refilled regularly. I am a fan of sparkling drinks. I love yuzu. Put them in a lemonade and I am happy. The sparkling yuzu lemonade was excellent. Yuzu has a more subtle lemony flavour that is so refreshing. It felt fancy having fizzy lemonade. I loved this drink so much. The pork gyoza came out next. I got four of them. They were deep-fried. The pork filling was yummy. I loved my bowl of burnt shoyu ramen. The thick ramen noodles were chewy and perfect. The chashu was delicious and flavourful. I loved the dry seaweed, corn, jammy egg, scallions, bean sprouts, and garlic chips. There was a mild burnt flavour to the pork broth that was nice. I couldn't fit dessert in. I was stuffed. I paid my bill at the table with a credit card. I tapped the machine with my card and was done. I used the washroom before I left. It was fancy, from the sink, to complimentary mouthwash. As I was leaving this eatery, I saw a pickup window for takeout orders. It was cool. I like this Kinton a lot. Staff were friendly and competent. The food and drink were excellent. I'll be back. After a few seconds, she came back and said only 1 coupon per visit. We were a bit disappointed, because we were so hard to dine out with a baby, and not able to come again with a long drive and a baby. We talked to their owner, he was nice to let us try both at the same time. Oh yeah! So we have 1 original ramen with black garlic oil, and 1 tomato base. It won't take long to wait. The fried chicken came first, it was not like the breaded chicken, it fried from original, but after marinated; it has taste, but not salty. The 2 ramen came at the same time. They both really rich, but not so salty, because the salt level could be altered; the noodle size could be chosen as well, we did 1 thick and 1 thin. They both looked similar.
