Was finally able to swing by and enjoy one of Saturday Bagel Toastie sales. Gpt half the salmon belly and half from the garden. I love the option of being able to do halves so you can try more than one menu item. And don't fear they sell their other baked goods on Saturdays too so you're able to get your cookie fix or just package of bagels to bring home and make your own toasties? Was lucky enough to ho on a dry sunny day. you can tell the word is getting out as there was a line. They have a long stand up communal table if you want to enjoy you treats there. If it's raining make sure to bring an umbrella or hood cause you purchase it from the entrance to their bakery. Always friendly crew at Salmonberry!!

I got to try this spot at the Ballard farmer's market where they always have a little popup stand! My friend recommended it and spoke really highly of their pastries, so I knew I had to give it a try being such a big fan of baked goods. I opted for the sweet focaccia since I absolutely LOVE focaccia bread and had never had a sweet one before. This one was plum, though I believe their flavors rotate every so often. The bread itself was great -- amazing texture, perfectly well baked, and delicious! I did think that the plums were a tad too gooey and wet though, which made the texture feel funny when eating it as a whole. However, still great to try overall.

Organic sourdough goodies that are amazing! Catch them at farmers markets too. I had a vegan sourdough bagel with onions in the middle and I will be dreaming of that for a while. So so good!!

I get the CSA farm box from them every other week, with the pastry add on-- and it's the best part of my week!!! The amount of produce you get for the price you pay is an incredible value, and it saves me a lot of time and money since I barely now go to the grocery store. The produce is so good and changes weekly, keeping it interesting and keeping me on track with eating my veggies. The box comes with descriptions saying what farms your food that week came from, and the pastries are to die for!

My wife and I were walking at the end of the day for the Ballard farmers market and the folks from Salmonberry generously offered us their last loaf of bread as they were closing up shop. The load was delicious. Great sour flavor and a crispy crust with very light, fluffy interior. I'll definitely be heading back and paying for a loaf next time!

You can find Salmonberry Goods at the Ballard Farmer's Market on Sundays (which is usually where I find them), among other places depending on time of year. Their baked goods are fantastic! We frequently get the hippy sourdough whole wheat bread and love to eat it for breakfast. it's a unique combination and I haven't had another bread that is like it -- it's hearty and filling yet still moist and not TOO heavy (also freezes well) Love it with peanut butter and jam in the mornings. :) The peanut butter malt cookie is also really good, as well as the focaccia bread, which comes in a pretty hefty size but you can freeze it for later! They also have some rotating items based on seasonal produce. I usually go for the baked goods but they also have a CSA that you can sign up for, where they'll deliver some produce along with some bread/baked items. Check it out on their website!

Checked their booth out at the Sunday Ballard Farmers market! All the baked goods here looked so rustic and beautiful, but there were also some unique items like a caramel apple focaccia (!). Tried the buckwheat banana bread ($4 a slice) and it was hearty, nutty, delicious. Definitely coming back to try more~!

Visited the Salmonberry Green Grocer in Ballard and was DELIGHTED. The selection of locally sourced grocery items was insane. And the amount of items they produce on their own is even better! Fresh baked bread and bagels, frozen pizzas, pastas, granola.... Plenty of kitchen staples... grab and fridge. This spot makes shopping local SO accessible! And fun :)

I recall bookmarking Salmonberry Goods awhile back after experiencing their items at an indie cafe. Last Saturday (2/27/21), I was wandering the University District Farmers Market and spotted the Salmonberry Goods booth. I appreciated the demo displays of their baked goods. The rest are wrapped to adhere to pandemic safe practices. I bought a Peanut Butter Malt cookie for The Homie. He's still nibbling it to make it last, I guess. For myself, I tried the Hazelnut Brownie. It is rich, moist, and decadent. Easily plated with a canele of ice cream or some whipped cream and you have a fancy dessert. Better yet consumed with hot coffee or ice cold milk. Salmonberry Goods seems to be found at indie cafes, neighborhood markets, catering orders, and via subscription boxes like CSAs. Clearly usage of high quality ingredients matters and baked with love.

Fell in love with their garden bagel it's beautiful and quite healthy as well. I visited them at their bakery garage popup but they're usually at farmers markets I believe. The staff is the friendliest as well. This is the embodiment of PNW local business. I love it.

She had wanted to visit for a long time after hearing so many good things about it, so this was the perfect opportunity. The café itself is bright, modern, and absolutely adorable. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax over dessert with family or friends. The menu is a dream for matcha and hojicha lovers. They offer an impressive variety of parfaits, floats, frappes, and lattes, with optional additions like mochi and red beans. It took us a while to decide because everything looked tempting. My daughter and I shared the Hojicha Mochi Parfait, while my son ordered the Hojicha Float with mochi. The parfait had a rich, authentic hojicha flavor and was generously layered with chewy mochi, crunchy cereal flakes, and creamy soft serve, giving it a wonderful mix of textures. The float was equally enjoyable, with a bold roasted hojicha flavor that wasn't overly sweet, and the mochi was a fun addition. The quality of the desserts was excellent, and while the prices are on the higher side, they reflect the quality of the ingredients and presentation. If you're a fan of matcha or hojicha, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

We were there at opening, and ordere the grilled cheese which comes with tomato soup, crème brûlée and I had th hot chocolate. The sandwich was good, although I would have liked a slice more cheese. The soup was really amazing. I don't often like tomato soup but this was the exception. Chunks of tomato and a full flavor without a lot of spices. The crème brûlée was warmed and freshly caramelized on top. This is not made in advance and just refrigerated which seems to be more common these days. The hot chocolate hit the spot! Options for no -dairy alternatives were offered which I almost forgot to ask. Liked the atmosphere, spacious and high ceilings. The staff was very friendly and nice. They had a rush when they opened and didn't seem unusual for them. The candied orange was a nice touch.
