I've never paid this much to be treated like dirt! I'm an outgoing person who always smiles. Not today. It's true that the employees count every vegetable that they put in your salad. That was okay with me because the ingredients looked fresh and there were lots of choices. What wasn't okay was the rudeness of the staff. The woman who wasn't even the one preparing the salad, barked at me because I wanted more salad dressing. I agreed to pay. 50 cents for one more scoop of dressing. Then it happened, I presented my Groupon on my Motorola Atrix and she accused me of having a false Groupon and would not accept it. So, after paying 6.00 for the 10.00 Groupon, I was charged another 10.00 on my bank card. I explained to her that the Groupon was only good until 7:30pm today. I even backpaged the scrren so she could read the terms of use on the Groupon. She told me to mark the Groupon as use after I paid her on my card. Conveniently, there was no manager on shift. Salata should realize that they have a binding contract with Groupon and dishonoring Groupon deals could be costly for them in the very near future. read more

I go to salata A LOT. I visit this particular location once Every two weeks and am usually extremely friendly with the staff. The girl that made my salad literally threw my to go box about two feet from where she was standing over to the register. If you go, be sure to avoid the tall, younger brunette that sounds like she wants to be an extra in a Billy Eilish video. Otherwise, she'll dump about half a cup with of cheese and a gallon of dressing into your salad.. but maybe you did that. Who knows. read more

Really great, fresh ingredients. Tons of ingredients and toppings, but I love that they don't charge extra (except for avocados and other seasonal veggies) or have a topping limit. You'll need to know what you want in advance as their staff is very pushy on getting you down the line. Your bowl will get to the end of the line while you're still at the very beginning as you try to rubberneck to see what toppings are down there. Unfriendly and pushy staff as well as long lines leads me to always order online. Picking out my salad ingredients online is a MUCH more peaceful experience. read more

close to work,convenient and healthy choice so i find myself coming back to this place....but there's always that ONE employee who gotta mess the good I had......this girl continuously argued with me and lectured me what the difference is between seafood mix (crab,shrimp,salmon) and plain ole' Crabmeat ---- i wanted the seafood mix and she had given me just the crabmeat itself. Salads Galore! It is "pick your ingredients" salad place. Dozens of ingredients and all fresh! It would be a herbivore's delight if it weren't a little pricey. A simple salad comes to about 10 bucks. Pick a meat and it easily tops $10. Oh and their salad bowl look a little tacky. Overall a great place for a healthy lunch if you don't mind forking 10 bucks for lunch and hang out with soccer moms. read more

Nothing remarkable here. The veggies were fresh and the shrimp were frozen/thawed. I would have given an extra star but was told that the Corp office had not shipped this location broccoli soup for some time now but it is still on the menu. I am honestly shocked by the reviews stating poor customer service. I live in the shops and come to this location several times a month. I am always greeted warmly and respectfully. On the subject of being chintzy, I feel they give a fair amount of toppings. I always ask for extra blue cheese and am given it without out any qualms or telling me it'll be an extra charge. While I do think they are a little pricey (if I get a small salad with chicken and a soup, it's usually around $12), it well worth it for something quick and healthy. My only complaint is I wish they were open on Sunday! read more

I am copying the email that I sent to Corporate a week ago. They still have not responded. "I visited the store at Shops at Legacy today. I work within walking distance and visit this location often. I have a complaint. Today, I ordered a large salad. I noticed that when I ask for the toppings, I barely get a pinch of tomatoes, carrots, peppers, etc. I would think they'd give a little more considering it is the larger size and I am paying more. When I got to the protein, I asked for turkey. I did ask for a little more because the same small scoop is used for both size salads (small and large). When I checked out, they tried charging me $8 for turkey. It was really disappointing and I may not be back. It would be nice to provide a decent serving of the toppings especially when paying for the larger size salad. Other salad restaurants use a scoop for everything so you are at least getting a fair serving. At Salata the employees are just giving you a pinch of carrots or cucumbers and they act like it's coming out of their own pocket with the stingy pinches of veggies. It is really disappointing. The "friendly service in a warm, inviting, and clean environment" that you boast on your website is not what is happening at Shops at Legacy." read more

I love the food! The services is TERRIBLE! I go at least 2 times a week, but the employees SUCK! If the salads weren't so dang good I wouldn't go. I always get the spring mix with every topping they offer (to get the most of the $10 you will pay)and the pesto chicken, with ginger lime dressing mmmmm! And if you like avocado don't order it here, they will charge you $1 for a quarter of an avocado (rip off) I would just suggest they hire some people that are happy about even having a job, because the ones that work their treat you like crap, I even had one roll her eyes at me when I asked for a bit more dressing. I went here for the first time the other night. The food was so fresh! You get to choose from 4 different kinds of lettuce, 4 different kinds of grilled chicken or crab or salmon, and an array of other options (cheeses, dressings, etc.). This place is the bomb. Unlimited topping (excluding meat) on a salad? Count me in! There's so many options of what you can put on your salad that you could come here every day for the rest of your life and always get something new. It also comes with a crossiant which is very good. Salad bar that you tell them exactly what you want on your salad. They don't really have a menu so you get what you want. I ended up getting the pesto chicken on my salad so I was at the $11 mark I think? I didn't really like the dressing I picked though. It was pretty bland....the herb one. read more

Salata's make-your-own salads are fresh and the staff is very friendly. You seem to get more options for the price here than Snappy Salads. Today, this location lost a customer. I generally frequent a different location a few times a week but today I decided to stop in at the Shops at Legacy. After waiting for 20 minutes in line during the lunch hour, I asked for a small salad with spinach and kale. The server gave me a pinch of kale and a bowl of wet and soggy spinach. I asked the server to please Break the spinach into smaller pieces, she responded with "I don't have time, the line is long." Next, I asked for more kale and the next server responded with "we're out of kale." Poor service and product. NOT A GOOD COMBINATION. read more

A good salad place and slightly cheaper than its competitor, Snappy. Atmosphere could use improvement. Their servers never seem to be in a good mood and last time I was there they had heavy metal music blaring through the speakers. We had to ask they turn it down. A really odd atmosphere. Living in an apartment at the Shops, I feel obligated to write a quick review for this place. Honestly this is the perfect place to drop in, grab a quick salad or wrap for lunch or dinner (I usually grab a salad for dinner after a long day at work). The service is really good and the owner is a cool guy to talk with- lots of unique restaurant experience to learn from if you're interested in that kind of thing! Try all the different dressings before you decide what you want and don't get stuck in the same routine. I kept getting the same salad everytime until I tried my girlfriends salad- hers was so much better than what I had (and I can't be upset about it because I told them how to make mine)! The point is, try different things- you never know what you might end up liking. I love to go to Salata. I think the people that work there are very friendly (at least with me) I normally go with my mom for dinner salad, and the staff at night is great. FOR CELIACS I had hoped to eat here without getting sick. I've tried it on a few occaisions and I get sick. It's either got to be the salad dressing, which they claim is gluten-free, the chicken, which they claim is gluten free, or the cross contamination at the end of the line - which is the bread station. I can't communicate effectively with the staff using English, so I've been unable to ask for any special care or to drill-down a little on how truly gluten-free their ingredients are. Sadly, this place will have to go off my list. Apart from getting sick. You know, the salads are decent, the dressings are tasty and the staff is a bit unfriendly.
