Mango Thai Salad was delish!
Judy R.

Service was great and quick. Came here with my sister in law and she also enjoyed the food and natural juices. My go to place. Would have sat outside if it wasn't for the horrible heatwave we have had lately. Overall love this place.

It was ok. Me and my friend both Got salads. They were big in size but nothing special. Fresh, good ingredients. Nothing bad to say it was just ok.

This is one of my favorite lunchtime restaurants! It's a casual restaurant yet bright and cheery! And a little quirky with the cows an unusual spots! When you walk in, you will see the menu along the wall where you wait in line to order at a register. We will give you your number and a drink cup for you to grab your drinks while you wait for your food. I personally have never waited a very long time for my food . They usually are very quick and efficient. My go to is the Thai Mango Salad, it is delicious! One of these days I will try something else, but this one is so good. I can't resist it every time I'm there. Today my husband tried the Caesar salad with no protein, and he thought that was delicious as well. If you are looking for really good food at a reasonable price and quick service, this is your place!

Love their sandwhich and soup combo. Tomato basil is my favorite! Service is always friendly. Shoutout to Ruby for being super helpful when taking our order during the lunch rush!

Bowl of oil (supposed to be tomato soup)

I will preface this by saying that we LOVE the Mendocino Farms location in Addison. However, the legacy west location seems to have quality control issues. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that perhaps our first negative experience was just a mistake (not so fried chicken sandwich was slathered in mustard remoulade sauce when it is only supposed to have herb aioli on it). They told me their mustard pickle slaw has the mustard remoulade in it. All I know is that the "not so fried" chicken sandwich I was served at the legacy west location looks and tastes nothing like the delicious version I received at the Addison location. Then we visited again and the tomato soup was a bowl of oil instead of actual tomato soup. See photos. Sadly, I don't think I'm willing to visit the legacy west location again. Disappointing b/c it is much closer.

The fall special this year is the spicy Calabrian turkey focaccia. This was a really good sandwich so glad that I tried it and will be back for it again before it is gone.

Mendocino Farms is so yummy I wish I could dine here so much more often! My 4 stars is simply my disappointment in the cost. The Farm Club is so hearty, delicious and flavorful. One afternoon I stumbled upon this when I was visiting Legacy West for something else and grabbed the Farm Club to go. It was delicious! So when my hubby & I found ourselves here a few days later running errands, I was looking forward to the Farm Club again. I know a sandwich can just be a sandwich, but the bread is a HUGE part and this bread holds when you eat the sandwich, it doesn't fall apart. It doesn't get soggy with the spread and the turkey has a great taste too. But ugh $12.50 plus tax for a sandwich is just too hard to swallow. While my hubby and I sat there eating our sandwiches we were both shocked and bummed the two sandwiches in front of us cost us $30! If dropping $12-$15 for a sandwich is in your budget I highly recommend Mendocino Farms!

Food was amazing, service friendly and prompt and a bright, clean environment. Recommend.

Summer Specials

So after an underwhelming initial experience, I decided to give this location another chance. I saw that they had some new exciting Summer Menu items so I was excited to give them a try! I got the Street Corn Chicken Sandwich and the Oaxacan Potato Salad. On my initial visit, one of my main gripes was that the chicken wasn't really seasoned. Today that was absolutely NOT the case!! The Al Pastor chicken was SO tender and well seasoned!! From the street corn to the pickled onions all of the ingredients were so fresh!! The flavors were SO delicious and well balanced!! It all worked so well together and this is hands down one of the greatest and most unique sandwiches I've ever had!! Now about the potato salad, let me preface this by saying I am absolutely NOT a potato salad girl, but this was undoubtedly the GREATEST potato salad I've ever had IN MY LIFE!!!! Sidenote, that may not be saying much because I don't eat a lot of potato salad. HOWEVER - I stand by my statement. It was loaded with so many of my favorite things (roasted corn, cilantro, scallions, jalapenos, cotija cheese) and it didn't have the overpowering mayo or mustard taste that so many potato salads have. Idk how they made it creamy and perfect, but it was truly DELIGHTFUL. I FINALLY understand the Mendocino Farms hype and honeyyyy - they will have a fan in me FOREVER!!!!!!

Leena J.

One of the best sandwiches I've ever had- all of the flavors flowed well together but you could taste them separately- lol, the crisp, the crunch and the combination- perfection. Nice service, clean restaurant, affordable prices- beautiful fresh flavors. Food- I tried the not so fried chicken sandwich and the Turkey kale soup- soup was ok, I'll pass the next time around. The bar-b-que sauce was amazing and the mustard was dip worthy- I would have licked the sample cup if nobody was looking. Really great spot and delicious. Love love.

I particularly liked the bruschetta because it was quite different from a traditional bruschetta. It came with roasted cherry tomato and house-made ricotta on one, and roasted butternut squash, Brussels sprout leaves and crushed hazelnut on the other. I really enjoyed trying something a little different! The Spicy Rigatoni Vodka was also really good, with Italian sausage, crispy pancetta, shaved garlic, basil and Grana Padano. Service overall was great. Our waitress was super friendly and checked on us throughout the meal to make sure we were happy with everything. The restaurant was buzzing when we visited for lunch on a Saturday, but there was still plenty of seating. It's nice and bright inside and located in a great area with plenty of parking. I'd definitely come back!

We sat on a spacious covered patio in view of a beautiful fountain. The food was good, had the meatball pizza (my go to at this place) and my wife tried the tiramisu afterward. The pizza is delicious - id highly recommend it. My wife enjoyed the tiramisu, until she unfortunately found a hair in it. The restaurant did right by us, replacing fhe tiramisu and removing it from the bill. However, service was rather slow, which could be attributed to it being a Friday or the bar just being backed up, but it did take a long time to get any drinks.

He was phenomenal! He had the perfect sense of humor, was witty and quick with a joke, and knew exactly how to keep the conversation going. He was also incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing. His personality and service made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I started with the fried green tomatoes, which were delicious. For my main course, I ordered the steak and eggs from the brunch menu, and everything was cooked perfectly. The steak was exactly how I ordered it, and the eggs were great. we went upstairs to the third-floor rooftop to drink our dessert! I had the espresso martini, and it was fantastic. The rooftop has great views and is such a fun way to end the meal. Overall, Haywire exceeded expectations. Great food, great atmosphere, an awesome rooftop, and phenomenal service. Marcus deserves a special shoutout because he absolutely made our visit memorable. We will definitely be back!

I was unable to visit with those across from me because of the reflection. The food and the service were fantastic! I did have to ask for ketchup that did not have the additional strong, smoky flavor added to it. Can't figure out why y'all needed to change the taste of basic ketchup. The fries are freaking fantastic!! Our group was able to enjoy the cowgirl option!! The 5 ounce steak was amazing. The appetizers are fantastic! The cheese board, pork belly bites, and friend green tomatoes are delicious! The double cheeseburger is served with the best fries I've ever had. The drinks are really good! Lemon drop martini, old fashioned, Texas tea, and the $7 Happy Hour drinks are the best! This place is a busy place. We made reservations, however, I'm not sure if you have to have them to eat here. It was actually…read morerecommended to us by a waitress at a local restaurant that was already closing and she recommended their evening happy hour. When we checked their reviews online, it didn't look too promising, but the menu sounded amazing so we decided to come back the next day and try the food. I am so glad that we did! Every single thing we ordered was absolutely amazing. We were able to order the bucket of fried chicken for $20 off of the happy hour menu which was four boneless, skinless breaded fried chicken thighs and they came out hot and perfect! They were so good. We also ordered one Baja fish taco and we regretted not ordering more because they were really good. We also ordered the lobster Bucatini, which was an amazing flavor, but honestly a bit disappointing on the portion size, it could have come with a bit more pasta and sauce, and a piece of bread would've been nice for the sauce. We ended our meal with the crème brûlée cheesecake which I was kind of scared to order because I really love crème brûlée but I'm not a super fan of cheesecake but Earl's did it 10 out of 10 perfect! Hands-down, one of the best cheesecakes I've ever had. For the drinks, I ordered an old-fashioned and my husband ordered a Moscow mule. Both of our drinks were great, we were very impressed and will definitely be back next time. We are in Plano. Dining tip: in order to take advantage of the happy hour, whether it be for lunch or dinner, you do have to sit in the bar, lounge, and I believe the outdoor patio counts as well. Your basic dining area does not give you access to the happy hour pricing.

We were a party of six and got seated originally at a small booth. We definitely felt uncomfortable because it was a very very tight fit so we did ask to be moved at which point we were moved to two separate tables that were near each other. They can't put the tables together in some areas because they're actually voltage to the floor. So four people sat at one table and then two of us sat at another table. It worked out perfectly fine. We just couldn't all engage in the conversation, but it was fine. I ordered an old-fashioned and it was OK. I did order a second one and opted to go to Buffalo Trace . I will say their cherries taste like they are soaked in the house whiskey and it's a lot to take when you bite it at the end of your grain. For my meal, I got the Cobb salad with the sirloin and no egg. The salad was really good and I appreciated the steak. Steak is only about 4 ounces that you'll be able to see from the image so I definitely want a little bit more. We did get some appetizers - forgive me as I don't remember what the name of this dip was, but it was very tasty and was basically corn with avocado and something else. While all the food was good - the location was incredibly loud. I'm pretty convinced that anywhere you eat in the Plano area is loud.

I placed my order, but the team here seems really disorganized...even spacey. I wound out up waiting 15 minutes for the most disappointing nachos I've ever had. I remember having nachos at the dollar theaters in the 80's and 90's, and that would've been a massive upgrade from the dish I was served. Never confuse vegan with healthy, the two are not mutually exclusive, so when you are eating nachos from here being in the saltiest most basic chips, do not be surprised. They are just the base to the monstrosity that is Vegan Vibrationz nachos. While there was definitely care in assembling the nachos, the flavors were just not great and the time it took to get the nachos was just ridiculous. The main binder was a slightly spicy sauce squirted on some lettuce and tomato with beans. I really think my order was forgotten and then when I was inquiring about it over and over, they finally assembled the nachos. Overall, not the best experience and the nachos were blah. I love the idea of a vegan place to eat at Legacy Food Hall, but the food and the service here missed the mark.
