This was a great restaurant!! 100% recommend getting the spring rolls! They gave us 2 peanut sauces (one for each person) and it was great!! Really good, flavorful pho with some of the best noodles I've ever had! They were soft and delicate with great portions for the price! Servers were super nice and very on top of it. Super clean and well-kept! Would recommend!!

Hear ye, hear ye, hear ye! On this day of December 20th of the year 2025, I here proclaim the Saigon District restaurant in a rating of new restaurants in Cypress either HIT or MISS.... A complete 1000% HIT! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the owners and staff of this quaint, clean and friendly restaurant for bringing excellent and much needed vietnamese cuisines to the Cypress area! I can say proudly that this place serves hands down the very best fried calamari that this dude has ever had, literally EVER in my lifetime. Let me be clear. I've had calamari randomly from places around Houston and it's all been tasty yet not my go to dish of seafood to try. This place here made em so well that it changed my whole perspective on the dish. Here, it's just as tasty as shrimp and compared to some shrimp offerings at other establishments...better. In addition to the calamari I started my first experience here with some from scratch vietnamese egg rolls. Saigon District did not disappoint at all. I honestly can go there and just order those egg rolls and calamari as a meal on its own. Keep in mind everyone that there is a major difference from Vietnamese egg rolls vs other egg roles. I exclusively only eat vietnamese egg rolls because they are filled with my favorite...meat. No not just veggies. Let's move on to my meal. I ordered the filet mignon and rice platter. I had my rice subbed with shrimp fried rice as I wanted to taste the shrimp fried rice there. I was very satisfied with my meal. The rice there is cooked to perfection however I prefer the shrimp on the larger side. These where tiny popcorn shrimp which to me lowered my expectations however didn't effect my 5 star experience. I will just suggest to the chef to upgrade the shrimp to some fresh large shrimp. I'd rather pay more than settle for popcorn shrimp in my fried rice. Overall, total 5 star experience and I will be returning for many more options that I saw being delivered to other tables. Until then ... ān ngon and Prosper!

What a hidden gem in the cypress area! My family have been here multiple times already after finding out about Saigon district. The kids and everyone love the vibes and food and we love the staff! Danh has been our server multiple times and has been super friendly and accommodating, we really enjoy his service! The egg coffee is to die for, please give it a try if you can. The shaking beef is delicious, perfect amount of flavor spread across the plate (get the fried rice with it). Vermicelli bowl is full of fresh flavors as well. Pho is great and flavorful. Egg rolls are fresh and crispy! All in all 10/10 for everything from food to service. A definite win for cypress with this new Vietnamese spot! Love seeing them always packed when you stop by for lunch or dinner.

Tried this new spot for the first time. The restaurant was very clean and the service was good. I ordered the #30 Feast pho and the portion size was solid. The broth was decent, about a 7/10, but it didn't quite win me over enough to replace my usual go-to.

Grilled Pork BANH MI with little to no meat

The place looks nice, but a nice-looking spot doesn't always mean good food. The service was fast when I ordered two pork banh mi sandwiches--maybe too fast. Each sandwich had only three tiny pieces of grilled pork. My first bite had no meat. Second bite, still no meat. So I opened the sandwich... three little pieces total. If you want a good banh mi, skip this place and go to Don's on Bellaire instead. This sandwich was a joke. One Star

Bun Bo hue, Salted Foam Coffee

Came with the family! I love Asian flavors with strong flavors. The bun Bo hue just needs a little bit of shrimp paste and chili oil to taste. The pho was a little too oily for me and lacked the pho flavor I was looking for. The wait was a little long for the food. They just opened and it was supper busy so I'm looking forward to coming back with everything ironed out. The decor and lighting was lively and light! 5/5 Salted Foam Coffee 3/5 Bun Bo Hue 2.5/5 Pho Rare Beef

You wrap the lettuce around the bánh xèo/bánh khọt and dip it in the fish sauce. I got the bánh khọt and the bò né. Bánh khọt is like a mini, thicker version of bánh xèo and came with nine pieces. Their bánh khọt was crispy, sweet and savory, and went well with the fish sauce. Although the portions initally look small, they are very filling. The bò né was filling and sizzling when it came out. It also came with a side of salad. The meat was tender. I really liked the bánh khọt and would definitely come back for them. I couldn't have been more wrong. Xeo Yum (#1) as it turns out is one of the most legit Vietnamese places in Midtown serving up some of the city's best banh xeo and banh khot. Located inside of a Food Hall (#2) in the back corner, they have low-key become a destination and without question, the most popular stall in the entire place. The fan base didn't happen overnight but is a direct result of Chef Cuong Nguyen's commitment to quality Vietnamese fare. Banh Xeo is their signature item, which is also known as a sizzling crepe or pancake made of rice flour, tumeric, and coconut milk. The banh xeo holds well, is perfectly crispy, and is nicely stuffed with an assortment of beans sprouts, shrimp, and some of the best grilled pork belly I've had. Another specialty item that doesn't get enough mention is their banh khot, which is similar but has a mini muffin / cupcake like appearance made in a specialty cast iron mold. This version is wonderfully crispy and pairs perfectly with fresh greens and fish sauce with some funk. It is my favorite item here. Some have argued they also serve one of the best bo ne (#3), the Vietnamese version of steak and eggs served in a skillet. The chunks of beef are nice and tender with just a tad of char, served with two fried eggs, and a banh mi baguette with a mix of butter and spare. Normally I think of spam or sausage included with the meats, but Chef Cuong's spin is with cherry tomatoes. It's a different approach and I'm not mad at it. Folks not looking for this can shoot for bo luc lac, aka shaking beef, which is also recommended. The staff here is sweet, hard-working, and very friendly. They also make a mean Vietnamese coffee and offer free iced self-serve water. The prices are what I would expect in a Midtown food hall, and there's plenty of seating. Anyone checking out the food hall need to make Xeo Yum as part of their eating itinerary. __________ (#1) A play on the Vietnamese sizzling crepe, Banh "xeo" and yum" (#2) Previously the Conservatory and now Stestí Food Hall. When I arrived there was nobody dining in the restaurant, that was a bit worrying, but I figured it was a bit early for the dinner crowd and late for the lunch crowd. Food & Drink - 4.5* First up was the noodles, I enjoyed them, but I wouldn't say the hype I'd heard about from some others was there. They had nice flavor, but there just wasn't anything "special." 3.5* Then it was on to the crawfish, and my oh my. Superb, the flavor is delicious and unique. This more than made up for the noodles dish. The potato and corn was good too. Service - 5* Solid. When I first arrived the owner was quietly reading a newspaper and eating his own lunch. He paused to greet me and advised that I could sit anywhere. He provided water and adequate time to determine what I wanted to order. The food came out quickly and he checked in a few times to make sure everything was ok. As time went by, the crowd of folks showing up increased quite a bit and he still managed to check in on tables consistently. Pricing - 4* This is where it was odd. Always subjective but I found the noodles to be overpriced for not only the size but what I felt was a pretty simple dish. The crawfish on the other hand was priced very competitively and made up for the overpriced noodles. I provided pics of the menu for someone to make their own assessment but in general I thought many of the dishes were pricier than they probably should be. I know inflation is certainly killing many businesses and consumers but even these felt a bit off. Overall - 4.5* This is definitely going to be one of my go tos for crawfish when in the area. The flavor is fantastic, the pricing is good, the size of them were solid. There are a couple of other dishes I may try on the next visit. The restaurant is clean, the owner is very nice, and it's a nice low key space to just enjoy a good meal with friends or family.

I will say, we are slightly underdressed to enter this establishment. Everything seemed so luxurious and many people were in formal business wear! Keep this in mind if you go! There is a parking deck right next to the location as well, both self parking and valet!
