The owner,Ruby, is really sweet and nice.. but the reason for one star is that my daughter got a full set and a pedicure last Saturday the 21st, yesterday, the 26th, I took my daughter back because out of nowhere one of her nails broke and some of them were already lifting... so after 5 days one nail broke and some of them lifted.We went back and Ruby did a fill and fixed the shape of her nails because the previous person who did them did a different shape and I didn't want my daughter to have 2 different shapes so I paid $25 for a fill in 5 days? I wasted 95 dollars on her nails, and guess what? my daughter was doing her bed and another nail broke, like what? I just went yesterday the 26th. I'm really disappointed because tomorrow the 28th is her birthday and she has a broken nail. read more

They're salon is set up to spend the morning/afternoon as a princess or queen! the salon is absolutely adorable and so beautifully decorated. my Mom and I walked in looking to get a manicure, they got us right in, helped select colors to match the ideas we had in our minds, and every single one of these ladies were such sweethearts!! So nice, so helpful, and showed they cared about how our nails turned out! They most definitely pay attention to detail and spend time on cuticles, shaping, and so much more!! Very professional and meticulous about her work. She is also taking all the precautions for COVID-19. I loved how she really took her time getting all the cuticle off and shaped my nails very nicely. The prices are great, they are super nice, and the hours work great with my schedule. Ruby is quick to respond to appointment requests and is flexible if you need to switch times. Today was my first time getting my nails done in over 5 years. At first I didn't know what to expect, but I was pleasantly greeted by ruby herself. I got gel nails from ruby, she really took her time and was very thorough. I also received a pedi from Brian and I can say the same. Great Regular Pedicure. I am not an expert in this environment but I went to this nail salon today and would definitely go back. Walked in was greeted and asked what I would like and I asked if they could take me as a walk in. They replied yes, choose a color from the wall. I asked which side was gel and which was just regular polish they explained and I chose a color that I wanted. I was seated and then a large board with cloth around it was placed over my thighs I assume to prevent your phone from falling in the foot water bath haha. Anyway I got the whole experience bath salts, nail trim, cuticle cleaning/trimming, buffing, calf and foot scrub as well as callus removal and lotions and hot towel after. Then nails were painted and I was allowed 20-30 mins to sit in the chair watching their tv screens as my nails dryed ( I believe regular polish takes longer to dry so I tried to sit for as long as possible and they allowed) total cost $20 and you get a stamp card on the 10th stamp you get a free manicure! Very cute place, a bit small but they have managed to give you all the bells and whistles you would like. read more

I took a chance on Ruby Nails and it turned out to be a great experience. Ruby Nails very clean and had cute decor. The Nail technicians were nice and had great communication when I called for an appointment. Ruby heard me request for 1 less layer of the dip powder (because I don't love when it's thick and bulb-like) and she came over to do 3 layers of powder herself and made it look natural and not too thick. UPDATE: After my review and communicating with me about what had gone wrong, Ruby personally reached out and made sure I felt cared for and that I was 100% satisfied with not just the result of my nails but the customer service I received as a client. I had given 3 stars for the mediocre service at the time but seeing how much she cares for each client proved to me otherwise. I really appreciated her attention and mannerisms that I wanted to update my review :-) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ruby and her team are super sweet and I absolutely ADORE their interior-- so is like to say my 3 stars strictly comes from inconsistency from discussing what I wanted with Ruby & price and NOT from the service. Service would def be 5/5, Ruby and her team were super kind. I made an appt with Ruby a couple weeks before I went in and discussed what I wanted and the price I'd pay and were only waiting for the day to come around. I got stuck in traffic so I let her know and arrived 30 minutes later than I had hoped (which she was so sweet about). She had another client coming in close to the time I was estimated to finish so I figured she was feeling more rushed since she was working much quicker than initially. There was no problem with that seeing that my nails turned out great, but it was A LOT LESS add-on jewels than what I had envisioned/ discussed with her previously. Like I had to ask her if I can add something bc my nails were looking WAY TOO SIMPLE compared to what I wanted/asked her for. I told her I wanted to add a jewel (thinking she remembered what I sent/wanted) but ended up paying extra for the jewels I thought I'd be getting when we were talking previously. I didn't mention it when I was there since I really liked the place & didn't want to rush her right before her next client/ put her in a bad mood. Jenny, who gave me my pedicure was super sweet as well and so I'd like to think I tipped double what I normally would JUST in hopes that I'd get better service next time/ actually pay what we had discussed. I came her last night and I got a full set with gel. I didn't realize until the next day in the sunlight that the color was extremely patchy. The nails themselves were also slightly misshapen and lumpy. I wrote the owner on here and asked her if I could come in to get them fixed. I sent her photo and she said to come in. She was very nice about it! I went in that same day and they took their time to even them out, reshape and paint them a new color. I'm done with this salon. I had been going regularly since the summer time and the quality has decreased more and more each time. At first, I really loved this salon. Ruby was super sweet and welcoming then things started to feel rushed and poorly done. This last time I was there my nails came out terrible. It hasn't even been a week and my $85 nail job has already gone to crap sadly to no fault of my own. Honestly I went here because it looked nice & I needed a nail salon near me . I went in for set and RUBY started my nails and then she was about to get another customer so the guy there started my nails and he was AWFUL !! He kept cutting me with the drill they use to narrow down the nails ! And then RUBY started doing my right hand with the drill and the guy was doing my left hand with the drill (so they can finish fast ) Horrible . The shape of some of my nails were just crooked that I had to nail file shape them better & my thumb acrylic looked dented !! PLUS they didn't do my nails how salons usually do when they take it step by step with first the nail and then they brush the acrylic powder & so on . The guy dipped my whole nail in the powder and it didn't even last two weeks & two of nails already broke off . PLUS Ruby is pretty rude a lady came in to get a broken nail fix & I guess the lady smelled like cigarette (I was 2 chairs down I could not smell it ) but ruby started telling her did you smoke right now & the lady apologized for smelling like that & then Ruby started saying to her why does she smoke & all sort of questions like it was none of her business (Rude ) , Just because it's nice doesn't mean their experience with nails are good . I usually go to LA to get mine done and it's not the perfect salon but the ladies I go to are so damn experienced and nice this place NO . They need more years experience, horrible . read more
