This pharmacy is unethical and unprofessional. Do not have your prescription sent to this place because not only will you wait forever but you might not get the medication you need even though you 1000% needed it! They also will tell you that your insurance will not cover it even though you have two options of coverage. Again Beware this place is shady and unethical. Do not care about people and their injuries. I spoke to the main pharmacist who was this white old lady with blondish hair who told me this information and insisted that neither workers comp nor my insurance will cover it. What is the point of having insurance. Truly they do not care about anyone and is just there for their paycheck. read more

Convenient to DTLA. In the outskirts of Echo Park area. This store is an hit and miss for everything. Sometimes they got it, sometimes they don't compare to the other Walgreens. Sometimes they are a little dirty and messy and sometimes they are not. I've called on inventory check for a few times. They said they had it, I get there and they don't have it. That's not good. Very very slow pharmacy and workers. It took them 15 minutes per person to check in for a COVID vaccine. Which means that even though only 3 people were ahead of me, it took 45 minutes to be seen. They also put people ahead of me who checked in after me. I know I should be grateful to be vaccinated, but it irks me when they don't respect when a person has arrived. Overall, what took me 20 minutes for my first shot (including wait time) took me 1.5 hrs for shot two. Walgreens, please get your pharmacy in order. read more

I came to this location for passport photo and I really need the digital photo but after taking the picture I asked for the digital copy and one men came from nowhere saying they can't do it just because and in their website says the can and they have to do it you should get your digital copy because your paying for it! So is this company lying to their users or WTH??? And they don't offer any other solutions even in South America you can get your digital picture why you can't get it here??? This is one of the worst Walgreens I've been to. Rude employees. The store must be understaffed because the lines are soooo long ALWAYS. There's never enough registers open. Their Pharmacy is even worse! I've witnessed their rude employees treat customers poorly time after time. I was calling to check on my prescription and some lady hung up on me in the middle of a sentence. I'm always nice because you get more bees with honey (and they have my meds!) but it does not seem to make a difference to anyone who works there. I witnessed a man trying to get medicine for his sick son. He was so frustrated because the pharmacy didn't have the meds even though he called and someone there said they did. He has been running around all day trying to get meds for his son. They treated him so rudely. No compassion whatsoever. Medicine is serious. There needs to be a complete change in how they treat their customers who are there to maintain their health. read more

The service at this pharmacy is the worst I have ever experienced. They are extremely rude and dismissive to their customers. I walked in today and stood in line for no less than fifteen minutes before being rudely told that they were closing for lunch and to come back at 2:30 after lunch. There was no one behind me in line, and they were completely unwilling to make any kind of exception. Nobody at any point thought it sensible to tell me during the fifteen minutes I wasted standing in line that they were preparing to go to Lunch and would be closing, so I just found it very unprofessional and disrespectful to my time, especially considering my prescription was waiting for me and would only take literally one minute to transact. There was another young lady who was also patiently waiting before me and got the same bad service, essentially told to go away. This was made even worse because she was kind enough to allow an elderly woman to go ahead of her for medication to help her breathe, which she was having great trouble with doing. She had tears in her eyes and was wheezing, so the young lady kindly let her ahead in line. For that good deed, she was "rewarded" with being told to F off when she got to the window by a very rude and unpleasant woman at the window. Seriously; just take your business to another place that doesn't treat their customers with bristling contempt. Update: it's gets even better. After returning post lunch, I had to wait in line for thirty minutes with twenty people ahead of me, only to be told once I got to the window that my refill was not ready (after being told it was available to pick up) and that I had to wait another fifteen minutes for it. This is after the guy at the window took six minutes to actually find my file, figure out what was going on, and yeah.... Just terrible, incompetent, slow, rude service. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. The pharmacists are always extremely rude. I started picking up my medicine here 3 months ago. Every month, I get a pharmacist that seems mad they're working there. I went in today, they said they were closing for an hour. I was on my way out of town, which they didn't care for. I was very polite, asking them to please just give my sleep meds, takes less than two minutes. How do you close the whole pharmacy down for 1 1/2 hrs in the middle of the day? It's 1:31 pm. The leadership is terrible, and it reflects on their team. I will make sure to have my meds sent elsewhere. Last month I waited 45 min in a line to get my meds, never been to a pharmacy that's always backed up like they are at this location. After the wait last time, the pharmacist seems to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. I let it slide, and went on my way. Today, was the last straw. Never again!!!! read more

This particular location is in a very convenient place, right on the corner of Sunset Blvd and Echo Park Av. The parking lot is not very big and is shared with the Lassens next door,but I personally never had any issues trying to find a spot. The parking lot could be a little more well lit, since it looks super shady late night. Inside you will find all the things you would expect from a Walgreens I guess. There are tons of stuff and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Unfortunately this stores closes at 11pm. It would be awesome if it were open 24/7, you never know when you might need some cheese puffs. read more

My wife, 8 months pregnant, went in to buy compression socks and asked if she could use the bathroom because at this stage in the pregnancy, she has to do that like every 15 minutes. The cashier very smugly told her that despite the fact that this was an emergency and my wife was Very Pregnant, she couldn't use the bathroom there. This is for the pharmacy. Wait times are no lie - it can get pretty backed up here. HOWEVER, this is the most affordable place for getting my Rx (a controlled substance) using GoodRx. And despite all the usual complications with insurance etc, I've always had a positive experience with staff. They are patient and helpful, willing to run things again if a price seems wrong, and just generally pleasant. Dude I mean it's a Walgreens. They have the stuff I need, it's clean, the line moves quickly and is never very long, the cashiers are quick and friendly, and there's plenty of parking. Also DUDE the "Nice" brand $1.00 chocolate chip cookies are FIRE and exactly $1 after tax so if you've got a dollar burning a hole in your wallet you know what to do. The only thing weird about this Walgreens is that there is no established standard for which of the two automatic door entrances is the entrance and which is the exit. Victor, the pharmacist, is consistently one of the rudest people i've had to interact with. every time i leave this pharmacy i'm physically shaking with anger because not only do they never have things done in a timely fashion, they're also condescending and refuse to take accountability for mistakes made on their behalf. they regularly close the pharmacy with no notice during random parts of the day, and then tell you to have your prescriptions called into another walgreens if you don't like it. As someone who worked in retail and managed a convenient store for years, this is unacceptable and would never fly in any other reputable establishment. read more

I like this Walgreens just because is conveniently close to my house. They always send flyers to my house, and I have had taken advantage of the specials because my dad loves couponing. It is always nice to have a pharmacy close to your house for the unexpected common colds/flu needs. Service could be better, but I guess they deal with tons of the neighborhood's crazies that some of the workers don't even bother to differentiate them from the normal crowd. read more
