CVS has gone so far downhill, and this one is certainly disappointing. Lousy selection, long lines. Today my receipt didn't print out, so I didn't get my coupons, which are some of the only perks of shopping at CVS, even though they only last a week before expiring now. A staffer told me that, if I downloaded the CVS app, I would get coupons. It took forever to download, so I had to leave before it was done. Worst pharmacy I have ever had. Only continue going because I can't travel far. They never call my doctors like they claim to when getting my prescription. Every month my pick up date gets pushed back a or more back because they can't get it together. Answer calls from doctors, call them back. They will not allow a transfer oF my scripts to my new pharmacy. They keep calling and filling my scripts when i have repeated told them to not fill and to transfer them to a closer pharmacy-which is not theirs. I feel like the injections I received were to high up in my shoulder when supposedly doctors do it at a lower arm level, it's the 3rd day after my vaccine and I feel progressively worse, more pain, more fever more arm swallowing and sensitivity with my arm being in massive pain. Severe migraine and fever has been on-going and i called CVS and they told me to keep taking ibuprofen and nothing seems to improve and truly believe they are not conducting the proper medical practices. Someone please reach out to me with suggestions or Assitance, thank you. I come here often, sometimes things are in stock sometimes they're not. Everything is always clean, pharmacists are excellent. I love the selection this CVS has. Health items to toiletries and food/drinks, souvenirs. It has a jacked up parking lot but hey it's free parking in LA. I want to shout it MARIAH who is always amiable and nice, and helpful. All the employees are, actually, which is great, but Mariah is always amazing. Give her a raise, give all the employees a raise. And if you ever ready this, Mariah, get a bomb job somewhere. I have been gong to this CVS for 10+ years but today that ends! I made an appointment for a Covid vaccine. When I arrived I was told that it would be a 5-10 minute wait. 25 minutes later I asked for them to cancel my vaccine and not charge my insurance. I was told "I'll get to you right now". Ten minutes later - nothing! Ten minutes after that a woman come out and tells me the she is going to take the person who had the appointment after me first. WTF???????? This is my go-to CVS! The manager at this location is pretty cool. Every time, he helps me check out, it's always a smooth experience. That is something very hard to come across these days. Yes, I can go to another CVS but WHY? The staff here are cool and glad that the self check outs are always available too. CVS is a ok store but I've been using their app for sometime now and it's bad, slow not user friendly and always keeps you guessing, thinking your getting a good deal until you get to the register and check out. The app is very miss leading and I've even heard this from some of the checkers. This was going to be a one star review, but because of the customer service I just got, I'll change it to 5! I came in this morning and purchased a candy bar. After eating one of the Twix and noticing it was stale, I read the wrapper and saw that it expired a year ago. Maryland (who also happened to be the same girl who checked me out originally) was super nice, let me pick out a new candy bar, gave me a refund, and also a $2 coupon to use at CVS! I was kind of nervous to come in and complain, but felt like they should know they had expired candy. Maryland made it worth coming in and even thanked ME! I would suggest finding another CVS or heading to Target. When you walk in and have security and sales staff just standing around talking, they SEE YOU NEED HELP but they keep on talking, then finally want to do some semblance of work and ask you to give them and item you had to get for yourself. Just to point out a button, hidden on the wall, so they can GIVE YOU WHAT YOU GOT FOR YOURSELF... yeah it's the nonsense for me!! It's just your typical 24-hour CVS where you can get all your basic toiletries, stationary, makeup, snacks, holiday cards, alcohol, medication, etc at any time of day or night. The photo station is right next to the cash registers, + the pharmacy is in the back. They tend to be pretty good about keeping things pretty well-stocked so I've never had a problem finding anything even if it's on sale in the weekly ads. Nestled right between the 110/101 freeways as well as Dodger Stadium + Downtown LA, this location is a fairly convenient stopping point especially since it has its own parking lot + self-checkout stations for when there's a long line. And yes, fairly frequently there is a line of at least 5 customers despite 2-3 employees working the registers. The reason for why I give a rating lower than the 3-star stamp of mediocrity is due to the air of disregard in providing the customers with at least the standard basics of customer service you'd expect at any retail store... knowledge, smiles + a proactive attitude to help. Nonexistent here. A more specific experience was when they sold my roommate SPOILED MILK! *cringe* It was unopened, cold to the touch, + still several days before the expiration date when she bought it... brought it home only to be thoroughly grossed out by the stench as she was pouring her first glass. It wasn't even 2 hours later when I came home to the news + insisted we return it immediately... to which the employee behind the registered obliged but offered no consoling apology or even a surprised reaction for this inconvenience. Although this was definitely a single incident out of the zillion times I've frequented this CVS location, it does make me question what monkey business goes on in the backroom as to how this could have happened. I had to grab some cold medicine while nearby for business. They had what I needed and I was out quickly. I had a dream last night that I was in a huge library. In my periphery, I could see my ex Rebecca. She was always just out of reach. I would see her looking around and I would call out to her but she couldn't hear me. I would go to her and groups of students would get in my way. As the dream wore on I would call out her name and people would hush me because I was in a library. Then I finally saw her I called her and she slowly turned to me. I could hear Billy Joel's "Light as a Breeze" playing. She loved Billy Joel. When I was about to look into her eyes, I woke up. I then burst into tears. I called into work that day because I was in too much pain. I know it wasn't real but it felt real. I played Billy Joel all day and I haven't been right in my head since. I have been going to this pharmacy for years since it is close to work and home. I have prescriptions that need to be refilled on a monthly basis. For the most part, I think the staff is rude and some of them have an attitude problem. That includes the pharmacy manager. I really do not appreciate that since I have been a long term customer. There are a few exceptions, and I am happy to interact with those people when they are there. But for the most part, the others don't make it pleasant. After reading the other reviews here, I feel somewhat relieved. I know that the experience I have at this pharmacy is not unique to me. I will say that the store manager, Natalie, is very pleasant and helpful. She appreciates long term customers. Customers can always go to her if their experience at the pharmacy is unsatisfactory. However, if I went to Natalie every time someone at the pharmacy was rude, it would not be practical. It would be too time consuming. So often, I just put up with the folks at the pharmacy. After reading the other reviews here, I am thinking that maybe I should share with Natalie the attitude I encounter at the pharmacy on a regular basis. read more

Only gets two stars bc the security guard is very kind. Otherwise, this store is a scam. The prices are absolutely ridiculous, and the only reason I go is bc I signed up for a care card. I get coupons literally every day texted to me from how often I go there and I finally decide to use a coupon and they said I can't because "the card doesn't match." They said I must've opened multiple accounts which I know I didn't. I told them it's clearly attached to my number because I'm getting the texts and I literally have the coupon, can you just use the coupon code?
