Neighborhood gem. For years, I sent my prescriptions to CVS and Rite Aid. But it is *so much easier* dealing with a small business. Whenever we are prescribed a medicine or need a refill, we call Roselyn and she handles our prescriptions immediately. She knows her stuff, she cares, and she is on top of it all!!! She knows our names, anticipates our needs, and is just a good person. Thank you, Roselyn!! The pharmacy is also stocked with OTC for kids and adults, first aid stuff, all the essentials. I am so glad I found R&D pharmacy a couple years ago. Roselyn is the best. She is professional and knowledgable and very friendly and prompt. I appreciate that she quickly picks up the phone to call the doctor for inquiry, if needed. They have a useful text system that alerts you in real-time when your prescription is ready. Also, the environment is simple, very clean, and a one stop shop for all the over the counter things you may need in addition to your prescription. I drive an hour each way to keep Roselynn as my pharmacist. She was the head pharmacist at my local RiteAid before I moved to the other side of the city and she went out on her own. The drive is worth it. She's always able to straighten things out or get the meds I need when other pharmacies have failed. There have been occasions in the past where a medicine I take has stopped working as well as it used to, only for me to discover that the pharmacy changed the brand of generic it uses. (Not all generics are created equal--the amount of active ingredient can be anywhere from 80-125% of the name brand to be considered "bio-equivalent.") Roselynn always makes sure to give me the brand I request whereas other pharmacies are only allowed to work with suppliers they have arrangements with. The point being: you're not just a name and and a prescription number to her. She's going to look out for you and if there's a way to get it done, Roselynn will figure out how. I've tried closer pharmacies, but two RiteAids and a CVS have gone out of business on me. They were often understaffed and I'd wait on long lines. My prescriptions wouldn't be filled until I called and asked after them, and when I'd go to pick them up, they still weren't filled. So I will continue drive an hour each way to pick up my prescriptions once a month. The peace of mind and quality of service I get from Roselynn is worth it. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Roselyn at R&D Pharmacy. She is not only a kind and empathetic person, she is also an amazing pharmacist who goes above and beyond to advocate for her customers. She always has my prescription ready within 15min of me letting her know that I need a refill and oftentimes is the one who calls and reminds me that my refills are due and ready for pickup. She helped me get a refill while I was out of state during a family emergency and my prescription had expired and was not even due for another refill. She is a breath of fresh air in the world of medicine and I'm grateful to her every time I need a prescription because she makes it all feel so seamless and stress-free. I love Roz. I'm so glad I have a local pharmacy where I get treated like family. Discount Medical on Griffith park blvd is also the best but R&D is closer to me now. Either way, I feel proud to support local business, and I feel grateful to know that me & my family will be taken care of at these establishments. really , this is hands down the best pharmacy I have even been to for several reason. The main is Roselyn herself. She is such a kind lovely person but on top of that she knows her stuff and is like a magician of prescriptions ! she can find what you need and always calls back and gives you all the relevant information . I didn't know pharmacists like Roselyn at R&D still existed, she genuinely cares about her customers and is the hardest working pharmacist west of the Mississippi (and probably the rest of the country, too!). For years I've gone to CVS for my medications. What a pain! Long lines and long waits on the phone when I needed to talk to a pharmacist. Roselyn is the exact opposite. There's two way communication which is prompt and knowledgeable. Picking up prescriptions is easy and enjoyable. She is thoughtful, diligent and communicative. She fluidly navigates insurance and communicates about costs for brand v generic and is delightful.
