THIS PHARMACY SUCKS HARDER THAN A POOL FILTER IN FLORIDA! *No offense to the rest of the store I like Walgreens* The only reason I still use them is because I enjoy making them do the job they get PAID for. Everyone seems to give up but the KEY is PERSISTENCE until you get what you want! (Not entitled, simply expecting the bare minimum from a business) They WILL give you crap about the prescription not being ready, or being unable to check the accuracy of the order delivery ? SMH ‍ TIP : Make them transfer your prescription to a pharmacy who has it in stock via their confirmation by call. You can get it filled faster and INSURE they call themselves, please don't let them redirect you, or gaslight you into thinking that it's your responsibility! This is literally the whole reason the pharmacy exists! ^^^Also, don't be afraid to ask for a MANAGER . Naturally some employees are nice and some are clueless it just depends! Managers are so tired of being complained to they're just gonna try to resolve your issue if you have a plan! Anyways, I'm about to drive 30 minutes to Van Nuys to get my prescription that they CLAIMED was out of stock indefinitely (for the second time). Still took some effort! Everything at this place is negative - the parking , the service, the attitude. I just don't even want to pass nearby this place anymore.

Most times I come to this Walgreen between 8 AM - 4 PM, there is only one cashier. Most times a lines forms but I never have to really wait more than 10 minutes. It's always hard to find assistance in the isles. It always seems like there only one worker at the counter helping ring up customers. If I was a local, I would probably walk to this location as parking can be really hard or tight. This location shares parking with a Trader Joe's and a Coffee Bean. The only reason I come here is because I am able to walk from my office building. I will say... it's nice to have this accessible in this area, close to apartments, office buildings, hotels, etc. What's up with the flickering light in the seasonal and greeting cards isle? It seems like nobody works here because even if you go inside there's only 1 cashier and a long line of people at the check out. I'm a 30 second walk from this Walgreen's, I've been using this as my pharmacy for 3 years, and I'm about to start driving 12 minutes to the one in Eagle Rock because I just can't do it anymore. In 3 years, I have never seen this place properly staffed. It's a running joke between me and my roommate that if you need to grab one thing from the Walgreen's 500 feet away from us, you need to carve out at least 45 minutes. The pharmacy is especially slow (literally why don't they hire more people, that would solve so many issues), and that was the final straw for me today. I waited 10 minutes for them to help the person in front of me (that transaction took another 10 minutes, they had lost that person's insulin and couldn't replace it). When I finally got to the counter, I was told my prescription wasn't ready even though I had called earlier and spoke to a woman who confirmed it was ready. They said if I wanted to get it today it would take another 2 hours (this is a monthly prescription I've been waiting for for a week now). When I left I was so frustrated I was on the verge of tears. The 24 minutes round trip I'm about to drive to my next nearest Walgreens will still probably get me home faster than a trip to this one that I live next to. read more

Dolores was terrible with customer service. She didn't have a good attitude and was VERY unkind. I was there to get my FedEx package and she demanded the tracking number. I was pulling it it up and asked if she wanted the QR code too she rudely said give me the last 4 numbers of the tracking number. When I did that she told my husband to get a shopping cart for our box. I said he doesn't need one she demanded he get one. He got the cart but when he saw the size of the box he carried it out. I asked Dolores to ring me for a bag of chips she couldn't get her register to work she demanded... didn't ask us but demanded us to move to a register back into the store. I've been coming here for the past 2 years. The staff is always willing to help, the store is almost always stocked, and most importantly it's a safe place to go. I value safety and cleanliness in every business especially in a drug store. You know there are really sketchy CVSs and Walgreens out there. I approached a woman and asked her where a product was with a pic on my phone of the product so she could help me better, she didn't even look up at me as she said, "what's up?" I asked her where the product was and she just flippantly said, as if she was exhausted from dealing with me, "it should be on the aisle over, but if it's not there then we're out..." I had trouble finding the item, but I called my wife to ask her exactly where the product was and SHE knew exactly where it was. I looked for the girl to tell her I found the product that she couldn't find the time to walk over to the next aisle to help me find, but she wasn't to be found. I asked someone to call her up front so that I could speak to her. She proceeded to make excuses and was severely unapologetic and just seemingly unhappy with her life. I asked if she was a manager, because of the heir she gave off and she said yes. So if THIS is the management at this location, then lord knows how this place stays open. Been here half an hour to print 3 pictures. There is one woman who is very nice but she's doing everything, taking photos, printing photos, cashiering, etc. There are others who are taking their sweet time, stocking, walking around, but the line is long and nobody tells them come work the register. This line will never end so this lady comes to give me my pictures so I can be on my way. It's a 5 second thing, yet she's at the register without help and I'm pulling my hair here. The store is not understaffed, it's mismanaged. When you have a line at the reguster, everyone should come check the customers out, then go to other tasks. I say to this young guy with dreadlocks, excuse me, he goes, this is the line, very rude, where everyone turned and looked at him. I said, I'm just waiting to pick up my pictures, and before I can finish, he goes, it's this line. I go, "but I haven't," he interrupted and says, "this line," and he was keep saying the same thing, "it's this line," like I'm stupid, very rude and condescending. He has zero customer service skills. I stood in line and I get to the register, the lady goes to get my pics, I was like what?. I've been standing here for 45 minutes now and all she had to do is press print and she wasn't. She goes presses print and comes and tells me let me help the next customer, so I continue waiting. I wanted to go get this kid and demand my pictures, since he was so demanding I stand in line to get my pictures, where are they. Rude, unprofessional, uncaring, they lose prescriptions. There is no ethical care and concern for confidentiality, and patient care. This pharmacy should lose their license to distribute medication before there is a major incident and a patient death that results from their negligence. I was trained that "dereliction of duty that directly causes damage" is the legal definition of malpractice and this pharmacy meets it in all ways. Also you call them, wait onhold, after 30 minutes of waiting the operator answers an hangs up immediately; as if they are trying to clear calls more quickly. this happens every time you call without fail. Then you get a very rude pharmacist or tech who is not helpful, dismissive, and not helpful. Your prescriptions are not filled, they are canceled without your knowledge, and simply not filled. If you have a surgery planned and you turn in the prescriptions need for pre surgery, good luck, they don't fill then in a timely manner, because of course the pharm tech knows better than the prescribing physician about what you need for your pending surgery. Do not get a covid test here. Came here for our vaccine, everything went pretty smoothly. However, the covid test situation is BAD. Pulled up to the pharmacy drive 15 minutes prior to appointment time. Two cars were in front of, it took about 15 minute for each of them to get their respective test or pharmaceutical pick up. After waiting 30 minutes, we finally reached the window. I pressed the button for help, was answered with a "We will be right with you". Waited 10 minutes, pressed it again and received a second "We will be right with you". Another 10 minutes passed, pressed it again for a third "We will be right with you". Waited 10 minutes and just drove off. The girl checking for covid vaccinations up front was nice, but the management seems to really not prioritize the drive through window. I called to check on my RX and the person that answered the phone was uneducated and stated that the RX was a dose that wasn't even the one my dr prescribed. I contacted my Dr and when the nurse call the pharmacy they stated that it's the right dosage. I came by yesterday to pick up the medicine and Areg stated I don't have a prescription after 10min he came back with a medication in his hand and said okay $43 I asked him why was it $43 I always pay $10 co pay he said I don't know and went back to check. Another person came by the window her name was Mary very rude no greetings and said check with your insurance and changed me and walked away. She had no manners no customer service. I called to speak with the pharmacy manager she wasn't available. I will put in a complaint regarding the way I was treated. It's not about the money it's about explaining it to the customer. This is my favorite Walgreens to go to when I'm in the area. Whether I'm getting a cup of coffee from the Coffee Bean nearby or groceries from Trader Joe's next door, I almost always make a stop at Walgreens. It's a welcoming drugstore, it's more organized and clean than other locations I know, and their pharmacy department has been very helpful in the past. I also love the makeup and gift bag sections for their various options in beauty and skincare options, as well as decorative options for gift-giving. I've been frequenting this Walgreens for years but have never felt the need to write a review as my experience has always been what you'd expect at a Walgreens, solid and pretty status quo. With the holiday season fast approaching, I've been making a couple of stops throughout the season to pick up items specifically from the photo department. Whether it was my holiday cards or calendar's that I needed printed as gifts, two employees really stood out as being helpful, kind and hardworking. Jennifer helped me with my holiday cards and offered to go above and beyond in ensuring I was happy with the results and process of ordering. Anna helped me with my calendar order and was so pleasant to work with and went above and beyond for me as well! Typically the holiday's can be really tough on retail workers, but these two really made what could have been an unpleasant and stressful experience a stressFREE and pleasant one!
