This pharmacy was unable to meet our needs as daytime sleepers. Their delivery people knocked on the door, pounded on the door, used the doorbell and called our home phone. Sometimes more than one of these annoyances at a time. A sign on the door said to leave all deliveries at the front door but that didn't seem to matter. We ended up firing the hospice company that uses this pharmacy. Their products are sub-standard; like wipes that aren't flushable, and bandages that aren't non-adherent. Also we kept getting stuff we didn't want or order. The delivery people were never the same. Some didn't speak english, some seemed to be down and out folks. Terrible experience. read more

I am a hospice patient and live about an hour away from them. My house is not easy to find and get to for their drivers. They absolutely do an amazing job and have never given up on finding me. If you're lucky enough to talk to Jacob, who works in the Pharmacy, you will find a person that is very compassionate. Does not give up on getting the driver to your house and is very kind. Unreliable, slow delivery is not ok when you have a loved one in Hospice and in pain. We had to stretch out doses of meds because we were running out. Hospice would order a STAT delivery and it would still take hours. One time it took 26 hours. This was not a one time occurrence. This pharmacy is an absolute disaster. read more

GO ELSEWHERE!! The worst customer service. Every time I have called they put you on hold or have the audacity to say call back. If I need something faxed to a hospital you better have give me 1 minute to explain. The staff spends time saying I have 3 calls ahead of you this that. I spoke to the owner of ASAP, he was very apologetic. He said that any clerk should know where to find the HIPPA paperwork and there was no reason for them not to be able to find it. He said, "please forgive us for what our new, part-time employee did - this does not represent us". I said that since my only interaction there had been with this employee, it does, in fact, represent them. He had the employee call me to apologize. This was very awkward for me and I'm sure for her too. She said, "This is not who we are. This doesn't happen. Please accept my apology. I understand the HIPPA violation, but this is not us. We treat all patients like family and all elderly patients like our own grandparents. I'm new. I was just very busy that day and I made a mistake". Even though they keep saying that, "this is not who we are" - it is. This happened. They gave me someone else's medication & information. I don't need an apology, I just need them to acknowledge that this *does* represent them. Making excuses and offering statements that don't address how serious this is does not make them look better to me. I reminded the clerk that it was not busy that day. I was the only customer there when this happened. She said, "I mean earlier it was busy". She said at least 5 times, "this is not us" - but it *is* them. Disowning/downplaying the potential seriousness of this mistake is to their discredit. Any business is only as strong as their weakest link. read more

After weeks of trying to work with another pharmacy in Glendale who will remain nameless, I was referred to ASAP by another oxygen vendor who spoke highly of their customer care. Sure enough, I was immediately impressed and so relieved and blessed to find a caring and empathetic representative in Robert. After hearing what had happened and how in need I was for this oxygen order he went the extra mile to help me fill and deliver my daughter's oxygen. Let's be honest here, no one likes having to get medication. Its not my idea of a good time. So when you find a pharmacy that makes things easy, you stick with them. ASAP is a great little neighborhood pharmacy. Friendly staff and short wait times. They also deliver to a 5mi radius. Very useful if you can't find the time to drop by in person. Delivery can take up to 3-4 days, so plan ahead if you request delivery. read more

Ok, honestly every pharmacy has issues. As busy as they are it is how it is. My family and I have been with ASAP for years, through good and bad, we have stuck with them because they have proven to be the best around town. They genuinely care about their customers, they work very hard to resolve issues that arise and we work things out. If one visit turns a bit sour, just try again...it will be better. The staff is cheerful and friendly, the prices are very reasonable and they handle the "OMG I forgot to order" emergencies very well. As for getting another persons medication ( from a previous review) mistakes are made by grabbing the wrong basket, however it is also on the customer to double check their medications when they receive them too. My family and I always do. The new location is wonderful! Bright and sunny. They do give personal service to repeat customers they come to know and it is appreciated instead of being treated like your on an assembly line, like at CVS and Riteaid. The employees and management of this pharmacy are extremely irresponsible. We experienced horrible service and will definitely not be returning to this location again. Lida, one of the staff members, kept placing me on hold and was very rude even after I patiently explained how their pharmacy was supposed to deliver a supply to us two months ago. I actually joined yelp just to correct -- or at least counter -- alannah m's negative post. I find it hard to believe that alannah had such a bad experience at ASAP. My wife and I have been using ASAP for three years, and they are always courteous, kind, and prompt. On the rare occasion that there is an extended wait, it is because they are spending time taking care of a customer that needs help. This is a great, independent pharmacy. I highly, highly recommend. I am sorry the other reviewer had a bad experience at ASAP. My experiences have been extraordinary. This is a small, well run, well managed, professional pharmacy that has always been efficient and respectful towards me. Their pharmacist is knowledgeable. And the staff is quick. In short, they run a tight ship. Also, there are no lines. I've never had to wait longer than 3 minutes to drop off or pick up my meds - this, as opposed to CVS or Rite-Aid, two places I will never go to again. And last, they deliver for free. Asap I had found to be a caring, neighborhood pharmacy with incredible service...until recently. The last two times I have brought my prescriptions in to be filled I have been met with terrible customer service. Last month, my prescription got lost under a pile of prescriptions and they told me that I hadn't brought it in. This is a class II painkiller, something that is highly regulated and that Doctors just don't hand out randomly, especially if you carelessly lose the prescription. They did find it but not before I was in withdrawal from my medication, pretty horrid stuff. I received a nonchalant call saying my prescription was ready, no "sorry, we misplaced your prescription or sorry, you are feeling so bad". Once, I got there the young girl who works behind the counter did express that she was sorry for the inconvenience and that things like that never usually happen. She was the reason I went back this month. I called ahead to let them now I would be coming in so that they could be prepared to have my medication on hand or at least check with their distribution center to make sure it was on hand. I went in to pick up my prescription when they said it would be there and they said "oh, it didn't come in" So back into withdrawals I go! Unbelievable, I spoke with the manager and he was very snide saying they didn't promise it would be in and it's not his fault it wasn't there. Really unprofessional. He offered that I could take my business elsewhere. No doubt, that I will be using another pharmacy for my future endeavors. read more
