Tucked away in a strip mall near a Fed-Ex and a Lotte grocery store lies a gem of a pharmacy. I first discovered this pharmacy while looking for a product for my mother that her doctor had recommended. I had called all the major chain pharmacies in the area with no luck or help at all. The brilliant idea then occurred to me to Yelp "pharmacy" and up popped Marsh Village. I gave them a call, provided the name of the product and asked if they carried it. The staff said they didn't have it in stock but helpfully informed me that they could order it and have it the next day. And this is exactly what they did. The product arrived the next day, just as promised. What a relief! Marsh Village Pharmacy provides compounding prescriptions for individualized prescriptions. I had used compounding pharmacies in the past for my cat and know what a useful and necessary service it is for certain patients that can't tolerate standardized dosages. It's nice to know this service is available locally. I am such a fan that should I need a prescription in the future, I plan to have it filled at Marsh Village Pharmacy. Nice to know that customer service still exists! Hours are weekdays only, so call first. Free parking in the lot. read more

In a time where we all learned the importance of prioritizing your health, it's important to have a pharmacy to have your back. I used to think a pharmacy is only for a quick pick up and walk out, but after my first experience at MVP - I can't stop talking about the amazing service here. ​I feel like we all have gotten used to taking hard-to-pronounce pills, hoping for the best, and trusting our doctors have our back. The first time I came in, I was skeptical of what I was prescribed and decided to ask the front desk person, "So what really is this?" and to my shock, the pharmacist went above and beyond - not only telling me what it is in basic human terms (not medical jargon). She explained step by step what the medicine is, what it does, where in the body it works, what to take with it and what to avoid, and overall destigmatize the scary "big pharma bad pills" reputation we grew up with. Overall, the experience here is quick, friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly, FREE LARGE PARKING LOT Also: There were a lot of people getting their covid vaccine here - I know they have moderna and pfizer, but also someone walked in and got their johnson and johnson which not a lot of places have. read more

Best pharmacy in the area!! The owner Madonna is beyond exceptional! Been there a couple times the past couple weeks. Great prices when insurance won't cover & such personal attention. She called my other pharmacies, got the scripts transferred & filled them within about an hour. Today I went in the pick up my meds, locked my keys & phone in the car . I went in to use their phone, she asks me if I have AAA & I said no. She whips out her phone, calls AAA & uses her membership to help me get my keys out. Stood with me in the 100 degree heat so make sure I was ok since the AAA guy was a man!!! Beyond grateful for h7man kindness like this!! Btw, she give a $10 discount on the first prescription you fill there. Will definitely be back with each of my prescriptions! read more

I got their info from another pharmacy, called in, emailed my prescription and insurance information which was wonderful and picked up my medication the next day. I didn't have to drive up there twice which helped tremendously. the staff was very prompt and emailed me back immediately. overall a great experience! read more

Marsh Village Pharmacy sets an example as to why we cannot depend on chain store giant pharmacies to take care of our health. I called in this morning to CVS, RiteAid, Wallgreens, and they were all trying to charge me $70.00+ for diabetic testing strips. Even after searching online and calling in to check with Wall-Mart, I was told by the Wall-Mart staff pharmacist that even though they carried the product, she had no idea how much it was and asked me to call back tomorrow morning to speak with one of their managers. Unbelievable. Then, I remembered that there had to be independent pharmacies in the local area who could help my grandpa, who desperately needed to check his blood glucose levels. I called Marsh pharmacy and they were able to help me get the right test strips I needed at less than $10.00 dollars. Spectacular pricing. The staff members were extremely helpful and the pharmacist even offered their services to help manage my grandpa's diabetes. This is the type of caring, positive, and most importantly of all, a fairly priced business that we need to have in all of our local pharmacies. Pharmacy is changing. The big chains are too busy with volume and their profits to care about the needs of those who truly need it. Support local, independent pharmacies who are, realistically, the only ones who can truly provide with excellent and personal care. If you live near La Canada/La Crescenta, give Marsh Village pharmacy a visit. They may be a small pharmacy, but I am indebted for their services today and will be returning for any of my family's needs. read more
