Doran Pharmacy's owner and pharmacist, Suzanna, is an experienced, intelligent, and caring woman. She has created a culture with her staff that is so welcoming. We had become numb to what good customer service meant after so many years at the big chains. But Doran Pharmacy reminds us of the way a good business should be run. Doron pharmacy is a gem of a pharmacy. I drove from Tarzana to Glendale because Susanna Keshishian, Pharm.D. was the only local pharmacist to be able to secure my prescription that is in a supply shortage. She got me the prescription and within 24 hours, I was at her store for the pick up. I had already been hunting through CVS, Walmart, and even Amazon Pharmacy. Susanna delivered fast and more affordable service than all of the other pharmacies. She has integrity and charges $51 for a $1,000 drug quoted everywhere else, under my insurance. I've gotten several prescriptions filled here, but I will no longer support this business. Had an electronic prescription sent here and they didn't have the meds in stock. No problem, I will go to my other pharmacy. The guy on the phone in a forceful manner said they are going to send the prescription to Rite Aid next door. "It's literally next door". So they refused the transfer and made me go to Rite Aid ( which I hate ) so they can get a commission off it. This place has seen the last of me. read more

I'm almost afraid to give the excellent review I'm about to give because Doran Pharmacy is so convenient, with such amazing, kind, fast and efficient service, that I'm afraid if the general public hears about them, they will become crowded like Rite Aid. But that's a risk I'm willing to take, because the public deserves to know how wonderful Susanna and the pharmacy techs at Doran Pharmacy are. And how they not only always get my prescriptions right (and even keep my brand in stock for me), but have spent hours on the phone with my insurance company advocating on my behalf. What major pharmacy does this? Not one that I've experienced. Years ago, I had a problem when Rite Aid changed their supplier for a generic medication I was on. The new generic made me sick, but Rite Aid said "Sorry, that's just the one we get now, and even though it's available, we can't order the one that works for you." That's when I decided to give this small local pharmacy a try. Not only did Susanna order from the manufacturer I needed, but she's made sure to keep that kind in stock for me for years now. I wholeheartedly recommend that you ditch the long lines and impersonal treatment of the major pharmacies and come to Doran Pharmacy instead. There is literally NO downside and so many benefits. Plus, if they do become as busy as Rite Aid because of my glowing review, I guarantee they will still give each customer personal attention, care, and kindness, because that's just how this place is. read more

Always so kind and communicative - you really feel like you are dealing with people. My dog had several medications called in and sadly passed away right before we were able to get them. I called to let them know and they were extremely compassionate and human on the phone. I used to get my prescriptions filled at Rite Aid Pharmacy. The service was mediocre at best- but it was convenient and familiar so what's a girl to do. Then my mom began filling her prescriptions right down the block at Doran Pharmacy. I'd often pick up her prescriptions for her.
