I've never left a review before because I understand that no one is perfect. However, my experience…read morehere was very disappointing. The woman who did my nails was extremely rude. After my appointment, I noticed that the acrylic was uneven on almost all of my nails, so I went back and politely asked if they could be fixed. When I sat down, she immediately said she couldn't see anything wrong. I kept showing her the uneven areas because it wasn't just one nail--it was almost all of them. Instead of trying to help, she told me, "I'm not a machine." I then asked if she was saying she couldn't fix them, and she replied, "No, I'll just give you your money back." What I don't understand is how someone who specializes in doing acrylic nails could think this was acceptable work. I wasn't expecting perfection, but I did expect my acrylic nails to be applied evenly and with care. It wasn't just the quality of the nails that disappointed me--it was the way I was treated. I simply wanted my nails corrected, and instead I was met with rudeness and an unwillingness to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this salon based on my experience.

I came in for acrylic nails with an almond shape. I asked her twice if she had experience shaping almond nails (once on the phone, once in person) and each time acted like I had offended her with my question. I made an appointment three days in advance but she still made me wait 20 minutes while she finished up on another person's pedicure. I was not offered any water or coffee. When she finally got to my nails, she absolutely destroyed them with the Dremel tool. You can see how much she tore up my nail beds and cuticles in the pictures. She also filed the edges of my nails for some reason (probably because she had no idea how to shape almond nails) which tore up my fingers some more. I was bleeding in two places with one finger really badly cut (see picture). All of my nails were different lengths and different shapes. I mean, it's so bad that my boyfriend even noticed. And the paint job is terrible. The edges are all crooked and uneven. I went online to buy the exact polish she used so I can re-do them at home, that's how bad it is. Oh, and one nail literally has my blood in the polish because when she put on the top coat she dragged my coagulated blood into the polish (see picture, middle finger). During the manicure she frequently stopped to answer her personal cell phone and would stop to watch the Clippers game. It's by far the worst experience and worst looking nails I've ever had and I've gone to beauty schools to get my nails done before. I wish I hadn't paid for them but my fingers were hurting so bad and I was so mad I just had to get out of here. If you can go anywhere else for your nails, do. It's going to take me at least three weeks to grow them out so someone can fix them. I'm so angry about the whole thing.

Hilda recently acquired this business and has made major improvements to the salon! Talk about major renovation. Everything is so nice, clean, classy, and, the prices to their services are very reasonable. I love going to this place even though I live 35 miles away because they treat their customers like how they want to be treated. They are like family really. Hilda, Karine, Holly, Cindy are all professionals, and deliver great customer service. They're experts at what they do, and that is to make every customer feel relaxed, clean, princess for a day. My poor pinkie was burning. 6) Once the cleaning was done I was passed on to another technician to put the polish, hate it when they do that, who do you tip in that situation? 7) They charge for gel removal even though they just used the grinder to remove them. Normally they don't charge for gel removal if you're getting gel again. 8) Pedicures are done in a plastic bucket. No thanks. 9) Not cheap. Sometimes if you're trying to get your nails done on a budget you overlook some flaws, but not this time. 10) My friend's nail was broken and the lady just put the polish on the broken nail without trying to even the nail out! 11) Polish was not put on nicely, I had to point out a cotton strand she had left just in my polish. Bottom line this place was a disaster. The only positive point I can make is they had cute colors. Make your way down the street to Euphoria Nail Salon located next to Starbucks. Came in for a pedicure like normal! Everyone was very friendly. I requested my regular French tip pedi. I had a very strange experience. I was never asked what shape I wanted my nails, and if I wanted them cut or just filed. I did have two nails that broke and were on the shorter side. Usually when I have shorter nails, we add some acrylic to even them out from breaking. Instead, I ended up with nails being cut even shorter. And then shorter, and shorter, and shorter...it seemed every time she didn't enjoy what she was doing with the polish, she just cut away more nail--and she was cutting with a cuticle clipper. In the end, my nails were extremely uneven and tender. None of them had the same shape, the polish was inconsistent, and the French tip extremely thick. Sadly I can't even go get them fixed somewhere else...some of my nails are sooo short now that the only solution is to let it grow out. I made them look a bit better with some filing (last photo). Unfortunately I loved coming here but won't be coming back now. Too inconsistent between really great and really subpar.
