I waited 2 wks to write this review to make sure, it hasn't chipped or peeled in any places and I wash and use my hands a lot as a nurse. Went for a girls night out with my friend, we're both pregnant with our second but unfortunately this wasn't a great place to treat ourselves. Really disappointing. I got a pedicure but it was unmemorable and meh. The water they had for the initial part of the pedicure was FREEZING cold! I was expecting warm water. I'm sorry why even have spa chairs if it's not even going to be pleasant?? About half way thru the woman working on me cut my big toe!!! it hurt so bad and bled the rest of the time. She put powder on it and kept trying to get it to stop bleeding. She apologized but I'm sorry, why would that even have to happen? I felt like she was careless and like she was in a rush when we were the only 2 people in the salon. The price was okay but was not impressed with the pedicure and obviously not happy my toe was cut.... aside from possible infection, it looked so ugly after and even 2 weeks later my toe has dark red dried blood. Will not be returning and honestly was upset to even pay for this pedicure. There should not be be any injuries when you get a nail service done. I will end on a note that I appreciated thaf all the tools they used seemed to be clean, or at least were presented that way. She took all the tools out of a package which gave the impression they had been cleaned and sterile before use. read more

They charged me $75 for my nails to break off in a week. Whatever they use is cheap and they over price. The lady popped off my nails with another nail within 2 mins but they charged me an extra $10? Which other salons are not money hungry and don't do, they're kind enough to not charge unless it's a soak off and regular costs $10. The nails were already cut off by me so she didn't do much. The lady was hurting me while taking them off even when i was pulling away she didn't care and now my nails are breaking off which never happens to! I've had acrylics on for about 9 years now and have never had this experience. I usually don't go to salons anymore because some salons are like this one but I had work and had no other option that day. The nail shape is so bad too...The owner also got mad because I sent her a venmo with buyer protection since she didn't want to get taxed. Owner is rude as you can tell in the comments of other reviews. Ridiculous!!! Never going back... Reply: saying I broke my nail like it's my fault but if it was applied properly it would never have broken my nail in half so easily! I broke the first nail last week when I was putting a shoe on...how are my nails breaking so easily if it isn't cheap? I know the difference since i've had acrylics for 9 years now. Also the owner has no clue about nail products or prices and had to ask an employee when I was there...yikes! Guessing the salon will never improve if she doesn't take the feed back! read more

I always put in Gel overlay and have a girl in North Hollywood I go to that generally does an amazing job. The last time I went to her she had her assistant do my nails since I was only doing one color ( she draws designs and does intricate nails ). However, her assistant ended up putting 6 coats of nail polish on my nails making them quite bulky. Long story short my sisters wedding was 2 weeks later and I could not have my nails looking like this. I tried to reschedule with my girl, but she didn't have time. So, I jumped on yelp and found this place. She found me an appointment on a Friday which I really appreciated since most places are fully booked weekends and upon arrival the lady at the front was very nice and immediately noticed the bulkiness of the nails. It took the gentlemen she sat me down with quite some time to get the nail polish off my nails and the finished product was absolutely gorgeous. So nicely done, that I will forever be coming to this place anytime I want glitter/solid color nails. I say this because half the time I like to get hand painted/intricate designs on my nails and they do not offer that here. Otherwise, I would have switched to this place full time. I called to schedule a same day appointment for a gel mani and regular pedi and had a lovely experience. It was $25 for the regular pedi and $35 for gel mani. Pristine is handling covid regulations well, with everyone wearing masks and the front doors open to allow airflow. The interior felt clean and I was one of two customers on Sunday around noon. My nails turned out great and my appointment was only 40 minutes long because two technicians worked on my hands and feet simultaneously. My only critique is that some of the nail work and leg massages were very intense, nearly painful. Not sure if it's because I haven't been to a nail salon in almost 6 months or if it was just rough, but be prepared for that if you're more sensitive. read more
