This is the second time I've visited. I like that this location is open on Mondays when others are closed. Also it's open a little later so it fits with my schedule and has availability on the day. The price is very good. You can get an hours massage + cupping for $75 (+tip). My session was my first for cupping. It wasn't a hot cup, it was a suction cup. I had some points left over on a ClassPass, so I scrolled around and found Garden Massage. Through some review searches to confirm they were good, I decided to give it a try. I booked a 60-minute massage but ended up extending it to 90 minutes for an extra $35, and it was so worth it. Lily was incredibly thorough and focused exactly where I needed it most. She worked out all the tension in my neck and back, and I felt amazing afterward. My neck and back pain had subsided greatly, and I was able to function like a normal person after! Im so mad at this place. First off the massage felt half ass, they were doing it quick and sloppy. We got a couples massage because we wanted to come here to relax but it felt like they had a flour roller and were rolling it on our body. No normal hand massage, I left with a head ache. The lights in the room is too bright No one cares about noise, customer come in loud they don't tell them be quiet they leave the room for a good 5 min, not relaxing at all. The person massaging me even had a movie on his phone not professional. Would not recommend at all. They had the audacity to ask for tip after I complained. I called for an appointment 15 min before. I was told to come in around 8:30 pm. I waited for 5 min in the waiting area and another 7-8 min in the room. While the message was good in general, it was rushed a little, since now we had less than 1h on the clock. So,even if it was good and relaxing massage, had they made up for the for the initial lost time before we started, it would have been the right thing to do. First time back since COVID. Haven't had a facial since COVID so I was REALLY looking forward to this. Purchased a really good deal on Groupon for a hydro-dermabrasion facial with skin analysis. Plenty of free parking in a shared lot, but there's also free street parking. Be sure to read the signs though because there are time constraints. Walked into the spa and it looked the same as before. Small sitting area. As I walked down the hallway to the facial room, you pass all the massage rooms either for couples or single. Spacious rooms. Walked into the facial room, and I immediately noticed that they made some much needed changes, so the facial room was much better looking than before, So glad! The previous room looked pretty bad, ceiling was so ugly. Now, as I lay here preparing for my facial, it's a much nicer sight to look at. Granted, I've been in much nicer rooms, but for this price, it was doable. After the skin analysis, the facial began. She was very good doing the facial massage. There's also some neck and arm massage. The whole thing felt great and relaxing. After steaming my face, she did some much needed light extractions then a mask. The whole process was so relaxing. Don't fall for this bait-and-switch company. Garden Massage/Facial Spa is terrible. I purchased a facial on Groupon, and when I arrived, they tried to upcharge me -- the facial didn't even include extractions! They wanted an additional $35 for that, which is absurd. I've never had a facial that didn't include extractions as part of the basic service. Cleansing, exfoliating, and masking are things I can easily do at home for much less money. What I can't do at home are professional extractions -- which is the whole point of going to a spa. I'll never go back to Garden Massage/Facial Spa. read more

Been coming here for 6-7 years once every 2-3 months and always great massage but today wowww. This is second time I'm getting 90 min massage from Kim and today was the greatest massage ever. It was so painful the way I love it(I asked her to )I workout 4-5 times a week and train Muay Thai and my muscles are always tight. This woman killed me. It's like she knew every knot and would not neglect any knot. Message to people who go to massage spots. Always tip your masseuse handsomely. These people work on your body 60-90 min and giving them 5-10$ is unacceptable. 20-40 for 60-90 min is the right amount. read more

This place has been my go-to spot for massages over the past four years, but my recent experience was incredibly disappointing. During my massage, I heard the therapist say, "Hello? Yes, you can come in at 6 pm..." I couldn't believe she was on the phone while I was paying for a one-hour massage! This is supposed to be a relaxing place. I tried to let it go, but ten minutes later, she was on the phone again, "Hello? Yes, you can come in tomorrow..." That was my breaking point. This is unacceptable! First, she's using my time to assist another customer. Second, it's very disturbing and unprofessional. Came here some time ago after finding it via ClassPass. The people are friendly and the massage price is not bad for current economy. Also, i think there might be heated blanket or something on the bed which is a plus. Some points deduction because 1. Parking can be challenging as the parking slots are in a plaza which are shared with other stores such as CVS, subway, and etc. 2. When I entered, a man led me the way to my massage room and told me to lie on the bed, facing down before sliding of the door. Before I even finish undressing, he kept on knocking even though I told him to give me another minute or 2 (-impatient). After undressing, I thought I would have a female masseuse but I was not and the man told me he would be attending to me instead. They did not ask me if I had preferred male or female masseuse. 3. The room is not private (-lack of privacy). There is a paper on the wall that states something along the line of that the room is not private and inspectors could sort of come in any time to inspect. The wall is also thin that I can hear people talking in the next room. All in all, I doubt I would be coming back. Would rate this more of a 1.5 than 2 honestly. read more

I had a great first experience at Garden Massage Spa. I walked in for a 1 hour foot massage and they took me in immediately. The room is divided by long drapes and is dimly lit. The massage table itself was comfortable. The massage was great though the person giving me the massage was a bit heavy handed. Garden massage is one of the cleanest & most comfortable spa's in Glendale. They have reasonable prices, and great masseuses and staff. I go to Garden biweekly and always ask for Koko. She always does an amazing job and pinpoints certain areas I have pain or discomfort in. Never had a problem with her or the rest of the masseuses. This massage spa was much better than I expected ! It's located in what looks like a beat down. Sketch location; next to a dominoes. It's a cute on the inside and the door leads back into many curtained off rooms. My friend and I got a 60 min foot massage. They soaked our feet with warm to hot water, and while it was soaking, they gave us a face/ neck head massage. They also included ab arm massage in addition to a foot and lower leg massage. It was much more than we anticipated and if time allowed, we would have probably stayed for a full body massage. The pressure was good, just had to ask for more pressure at the start. Overall it's not bad, but not the best experience. I made the appointment through Yelp and that was smooth and they responded right away. The massage was GREAT, I did a full body massage and cupping and it all was great. However, the general atmosphere of the place is a little bit awkward and off, not so professionals in a way. Also, I wasn't satisfied with the place hygiene. You can hear a lot of noises and see the dirt in the floor, and the lightings also weird . There's no place to put your stuff on except a table that wasn't clean too. The room in general wasn't as clean and prepared as it should be. I would not recommend this place. At first it was good then they hired this creepy armanian man that proceeded to pull the covers off of my bottom and massage my bare butt without asking. Also Coco, on two separate occasions charged my credit card for another person's service, which made me very upset. I immediately made her send my money back. The massage there is never satisfying, its basically them rubbing lotion and oil on your back for $60. They don't really understand deep tissue massage. Tom and Lily are the best masseuses here! I've been to this place several times now, and they've always done an AMAZING job. My husband and I usually do the $35 hour foot massage (which also includes a short head, arm, leg & back massage as well) and always end up tipping these guys $15 each because they're so good at what they do! Decided to write this review after reading about the experience of some of the other women here on yelp. I had gone to this spa before for massage and had very good experience . But the last time I went - my masseuse was a man - don't know his name - but he was not an Asian man - I don't know his ethnicity - maybe Armenian - I don't know. The massage was very unsettling, it felt creepy. At one point he told me to open my legs I said no , and he insisted. I didn't - it bothered him. My breasts were fully exposed for way too long a time - and I'm not prudish. I had the sense this was wrong - but didn't say anything - just wanted to get out of there as fast as I could. I left without leaving a tip - then someone from the Spa ran out to me while I was getting in my car and told me to tip - I gave them $5 - I don't know why. I just wanted to get out of there. I had a really poor experience here in mid-August but after seeing my review, the owner/manager "Coco B." messaged me, apologizing for the defective massage, and expressed genuine concern and said that the gentleman who had given me my previous massage no longer worked there. She invited me to come back to give the opportunity to rectify the matter with either a refund or a massage from a different masseuse. I really like when a business takes the time to read a review and try to resolve the issues that the customers have, and i appreciated her reaching out to me, and came back a couple weeks later, and this time was met by a young gentleman named "Tony" who was muuuuch muuuuuch better. The water that came was hot, and he actually asked, ACTUALLY ASKED how i wanted a massage, whether i wanted it medium or hard, to which i responded, "medium-hard," and as he massaged my back and shoulders, he'd check in with me and ask if it was ok (something that seems typical but that the other masseuse had not done once.) Tony is a master masseuse, and I could feel his competence: he knew when to press hard and when there was a knot or a tensed muscle and he'd return to it, working them and kneading them out, and i could feel certain muscles/tendons sort of gently popping in and out of place before in a strangely relaxing way. It was one of the better massages I've had, and it ranged from incredibly relaxing (i might've dozed off once or twice) to rather intense and cathartic; I enjoyed both sides of the spectrum and came out feeling the strange combination of both rejuvenated and relaxed. I took my mom and daughter here for a facial on a Saturday morning. The inside is beautiful with a "garden wall" and you walk into a hallway of beautiful lights trailing down the walls. We had separate rooms for our facials and we both swear it's the best experience we have had. They explained each step even did a little neck shoulder massage and my skin feels incredible. Honestly one of the worst massages and experiences of my life. Starting off walking in, the place is dingy and smells. But I can forgive all of that if a masaage is worth it. This massage was not. First off, the tech didnt know what he was doing but hey everybody has a different technique. During the massage he tries to take off my underwear and I said no. He then said "yes take off." Like if I say no one time, it means no. The masseuse and another lady (employee?) were also arguing loudly through the thin walls. The entire experience was uncomfortable to put it midly.
